We had a great time. The property was beautiful. The house was great there was a few things that weren’t clean but overall it was a great vacation for my family.

We returned to this place because we thought it was beautiful. Quiet and peaceful. Great that we are able to bring the dog! Comfortable beds and cozy environment. Downstairs with pool table was a hit with our kids.

The property is beautiful and located deeper in the woods which we enjoyed. The cabin had all the amenities needed for our stay even though we didn’t spend a ton of time there. There were some ants in the kitchen, but everything was very clean outside that. We would love to come back and stay again.

Mountain side cabin overlooking the lake through the trees was wonderfully equipped and very comfortable. The only improvement I could suggest would be to stress the point of there being 3 sections of steep steps from parking pad down to the cabin. It’s great for athletic types. Also the road is unfinished in spots so a low to the ground car may have difficulty on the road. My family and I very much enjoyed our visit.

I spent my 40th at Sunday Morning with my husband and our pup. It was fantastic! We can’t wait to come back. Where the cabin is, it’s is so peaceful! Thank you to Olivia-office manager, for the phone call before our arrival, helped with all our questions! Sunday Monday is an amazing place to get away!

Property is a great location for a weekend getaway. The kitchen is well equipped and things were well organized. A cover for the firewood to keep it dry would be nice but not a must have. This was my second stay at the cabin and I did notice a few things in need of some repair, but the owner seems to be addressing them. The addition of the charcoal grill was nice. I will definitely be staying here again.

Great property for a short getaway. We booked the property solely for a getaway and planned to entertain ourselves in the cabin the entire weekend, we had no problem with that as the hot tub, pool table, and numerous games were provide! The cabin has seen better days as the structure seems to have settled at a slant but doesn't seem to be of concern. The place could use some upgrades just to spruce it up, otherwise it was very clean and comfy.

Beautiful property!
We loved our stay at Sunday morning. The property and location is absolutely beautiful!! My kids loved the pool table and hot tub. The cabin was very clean and we felt right at home. We would definitely stay here again.

Long Weekend
Had a group of friends meet up for the 4th of July weekend and Fiddler's Jamboree. The house is very close to the lake, shaded by trees, lots of nice outdoor patio space. It was great! We ended up using the fold out couch, and there were plenty of linens for everyone. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking group meals and we loved grilling one night. We even walked down to the lake for a swim. Great spot!

We had a nice stay at the cabin for Memorial Day weekend. We arrived earlier than expected and the property manager allowed us to check in early. She mentioned it was dependent on when house keeping would be finished. I am not sure if us checking in early made house keeping feel rushed but there was hair left in the shower and crumbs left on the kitchen floor. All very minor issues. If you plan on staying here, bringing your own cleaning supplies is helpful. There are many stairs to and from the cabin so be aware and the roads to get to the cabin were very very steep. We are happy we brought our truck to be able to navigate them better. Drivable distance to smithville incase you need a grocery store or want to visit any restaurants. There is a tiny lake view through the trees, although the access to the lake is a drop off and we did not want to risk/test how deep the water was at the drop off. The house is supplied with a majority of kitchen utensils/pots/pans for cooking and eating. Bring your own seasoning for cooking etc. the propane tank was empty upon arrival. We followed the instructions about contacting the on call maintenance man. He questioned our competence on using the grill stating the “tank was just refilled”. Regardless when we arrived it was empty. Whoever installed it or used it previously must have left the tank open.
The price of the cabin is high especially with all of the fees/taxes you end up paying. It was nice we were able to pay to bring our Goldendoodle.

The property decks and stairs felt unsafe. The post supporting the stairs to go to the pool room were held by a unfastened 4x4. No supports in the middle of the entry stairs. And decking needs replaced all around. The house is sinking majorly.

Cabin is nice but not very clean. I had to clean the sheets as soon as I arrive. The cabin has dust and dirt ceilings and floors. When you go up the stairs it feels like you are tilted. Pool table is nice.
I will not stay again for the price there are better properties.

My only complaint is that weekends are too short! We met up with of our TN kids and their families to celebrate Thanksgiving since we won't be able to be together this year. The kids LOVED it; we all did. The pool table was a plus for the 15 yr old. The USB ports here and there was a bonus for the 6 yr old and the sound machine was a blessing to the parents of a 2 yr old. :D

Great location. Great team to address your issues if you stay here. Would not suggest summer months. Had maintenance come look at air conditioning because the a/c froze from working to hard to keep the house cool. House still was never at a comfortable temperature the entire stay, but the a/c kept working after the great response from maintenance team. Maintenance team also said they have been called to the same house multiple times for the a/c freezing because of overworking and they told the owner that they need to make some changes for the house to actually remain cool in summer months. Ants in kitchen upon arrival. I'm sure they would have fixed the issue if I called them, but we just delt with it ourselves. Water went out last day due to running continuous water for people to get ready to leave the next day, and I'm only putting this in case anyone who stays here knows it is normal to save water in case of a leak. Just call maintenance they will turn it back on if there is no leak.

My friends and I had a great time! The steps to get to the cabin suck when loading and unloading, but it’s totally worth it! We would recommend this place and would stay again! There is a trail leading down to the water that is moderately strenuous but it’s easy to get in and out of the lake, which is not common for Center Hill Lake.

We came with a small group for our annual MDW weekend trip. The house was perfect for our group of 6. We had plenty of space both inside and outside for our weekend activities. The house was very clean and the updated amenities were great. CHC was very responsive in all aspects. We had a brief power outage and we were able to get a hold of the maintenance team with ease. Already talked about planning a fall trip back!

The grill did not work, but the maintenance person, Rick, is faboulous and brought us one that did. The steps are a little hard...2 sets inside the house plus the ones to get down to the house, but we knew that ahead of time. I did count 34 steps, twice, to get down to the house instead of the 25 as described by the rental company. It is difficult to have a pet, as the ground is quite flat level to take them outside. We did very much enjoy our stay and would recommend to anyone without a pet and not put off by all the steps.
