Eureka Springs is known for being one of the best places for riding, with a town that is extremely biker friendly and curvy, winding roads that boast some of the most gorgeous views in the state, perfect for experiencing life outside of a cage. But this place doesn't just cater to those who love the open road; travelers have come from far and wide to battle the spirited and gigantic fish that lurk, always ready to match wits with the intrepid fishermen who set sail on Beaver Lake! With waters teeming with native catfish, perch, largemouth bass, bluegill, and crappie, just to name a few, this area is a fisherman's dream! The lakes and rivers here are gentle enough for even the littlest of friends, as they learn how to catch a crawdad, hunt frogs, or put in a kayak or a canoe! See your kids experience the joy of learning how to bait a hook, and observe their pride, (and squeals!) when they catch their first fish! Come experience the wonderland that this area is for families. Eureka Springs was founded on the whispers of healing springs and magical places, and the town has never lost that sense of wonder and whimsy. This is a place where bubbles drift enticingly up from narrow stone stairways that lead down to hidden galleries and little shops have bunny friends who will give you back your change, where haunted houses reign supreme and the locals know to tread softly, look out of the corner of your eye, and you just might see fairies lurking at the bottom of the hills. See the world through the wide-eyed wonder of a child again when you see your kids discover Eureka, and let yourself slip into the joy of believing, just for a little bit. This is the place where magic is found and memories are made, and every trip needs a comfortable, safe home base, ready to take those tired souls back and hold them secure through the dark hours of the night before sending them out again to face the day. There was mouse poop all over the cabinets, night stands and floor and underneath cabinets in pots and pans. I’m not sure but it could have been due to them cleaning weeks before and just being closed up for a while, not sure how that worked.
Electrical sockets in bath 2 and Harley room didn’t work.
But after we cleaned and disinfected the cabin ourselves, we had an overall good weekend.
It’s a ways from downtown so plan for about a 10-15 minute drive to there.
Nice, roomy cabin.

Really liked the location and Misty and Ann were great.
Electric and WiFi went out a few times but they did everything they could to get it fixed quickly. Was really close to Beaver Dam but you have to pay $5 to swim. Found out the hard way.
I would recommend updates: bedroom with bunk beds smelt like mold it was hard to even go in that room. came from AC. In another bedroom the box-spring slats were broken. Boards pushing through mattress. Had to put airbed on top of it all to get comfortable. But we made it all work, especially for our large group.

Family canoe trip
It was perfect for our family trip. It had everything we needed. The location was good for us. It was only a few miles from the lake where we went swimming everyday.

The accommodations were good and comfortable. The host was very accommodating since we were able to extent our checkout time because of care problems for a few hours.

Property is dated and could use a little up dating. Could use larger pots and pans for families of seven or more. Over all it met all our needs

The place was nice for the 12 of us and was quiet back kind of by itself.

The house was very accommodating! Plenty of room for all of us. We had an issue with a bathroom door not shutting but they had it fixed in less than 10 mins! Peaceful place too. Would stay there again!

Some issues
We arrived the first day and we're at this house but thank goodness we were able to move. The house was not heating up, it was freezing(8°) and the breaker box kept shorting out when the heaters that were provided were plugged in. They were very apologetic and came out about an hour after we arrived. The house smelled like mold so bad that my mom couldn't even stay in there. A bed had been slept in and not made, cigarette ashtray was full, a lot of little things especially with having small children that made me upset.
The ladies moved us to a new house which was a lot better but didn't have the right amount of beds, they brought us blow up mattresses which was really nice. She even gave me $100 for the inconvenience of it all. Everything was great until a few days later. My son and I are highly sensitive to mold and we both started coughing and feeling ill. I didn't think there was an issue because the house seemed pretty nice and clean, didn't have a smell, etc. But then my oldest child was looking for extra toilet paper under the sink and discovered the culprit. The whole underside was covered in mold. I didn't want to write a review because the lady's were so nice but I felt it's a health hazard so it needs to be out there. I have a sinus infection now and I'm 100% sure it's due to that. We shut that bathroom door for the last couple of days and just used the main bathroom after we found it.
One more small thing, they told us to put the trash on the deck but never picked it up. If there was an outdoor trash can with a lid I think it would have been better. We were sitting on the deck accompanied by our 5 bags of trash.
It's a good location only about 10 minutes away from town and the people are really nice. I think replacing the moldy sink is the main priority for the place we stayed.
