property had everything we needed and enjoyed the trails right in the backyard. house is dated, but everything worked and host even came by the 1st evening to make sure everything was good.

Property was just as listed and met our needs perfectly…far enough out of town to let us feel like we were out in the country, but close enough for us to enjoy all the family activities in town during the weekend. All amenities were exactly as described and the owner was very responsive to our needs.

The lodging was pleasant, clean, and comfortable for our 4-day stay, which are the important things. The owner, Thomas, checked on us the first night. When I had a small request a day later, he responded promptly. We did see quail, even a-courtin'! Minor comment is that with new house construction on one side of property, listing photos should be updated. This is a beautiful location, but not on its own anymore.

This property is as advertised and had all amenities I needed for a good week of working remotely and biking. The Lunch Loop trail system can be accessed from the property, so no need to drive to a trailhead. The proximity to Colorado National Monument is a bonus. I would definitely stay here again.

This is our second stay at this property. It's perfect for us with our 2 small dogs! Outside of town so very quiet, but close to everything we need!

Pretty much a nice budget alternative place to stay where you spend more time out than in the rental. Had the amentities one would expect, perfect for the mountain bike riders; trails right out the back door or down the street. I was in Grand Junction for photography. The bed was fine for a good night's sleep.

Right next to colorado national monument. The big backyard is currently under renovation but still plenty of space to hang around and star gaze. Colorado monument is a mile away and there are so many trails nearby. Amazing

Thank you for a wonderful stay. Colorado National Monument right outside the door made for spectacular sunrises. Except for forgetting some shirts (our fault) we had no issues. Clean and comfortable,homelike feeling. We will definitely rebook here for our next visit to Grand Junction !!!

The twin house, units 1 and 2, is located about 2 miles from the entrance to the Colorado Monument National park, to the west, and one mile, to the east, to the lunch loops mountain bike trails trailhead. Downtown Grand Junction is a little more than 5 minutes away. Just past the lunch loops trailhead is the cafe mentioned in other reviews, a bar and grill, and a little further a shopping center with a grocery store. We enjoyed both the cafe and bar and grill. The Grand Junction farmers market on Thursday evenings was great with live music. The main street is closed for a few blocks in order to house the market vendors. The house is older and some things like the kitchen cabinets show their age, but everything was serviceable and there were plenty of glasses, cups, plates, bowls and utensils. There is a large dining area table and the living room is huge. The bedrooms were comfortable and the bathroom had plenty of extra towels. One minor complaint is that the shower curtain is mounted too close to the tub and it is nearly impossible to stand facing the showerhead without the shower curtain sticking to you. If you have a dog, request unit one which has a fenced area in the back. We were in unit 2 and had to be outside with our dog when we let him out. The landscape is desert, with prickly pear cactus and scrub brush. I do not know where the property lines are but there was a lot of construction garbage in the brush areas around the house, which took away from natural beauty. If you come here for the trails, it is a one mile hike/ride through the valley below the house, to the trailhead. The trail system is very well organized and maintained. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and the convenience of not having to drive to the trailhead.

Lovely rural setting off the road near Colorado Monument Park, but only 7 minutes from town! Very quiet and spacious. Host lives nearby and is helpful and friendly!

We needed a place to stay for my Father's funeral in Grand Junction, and my brother and I had stayed here previously when we had visited my Father a few weeks prior - This place has 2 bedrooms and one bathroom, and was close to where my Dad lived, and so it was better than a hotel if you don't need the "hotel amenities" I would be nice if the swamp cooler has a thermostat though, because it is currently either on with a high or low fan setting, or off...

We absolutely loved our stay at this VRBO. The views were beautiful, we stayed cool with the air conditioning, and loved being close enough to ride our bikes to Lunch Loop trails.

Simple but clean and comfortable accomodations. The location cannot be beat. Waking up to the morning sun over looking the hill was beautiful. The lunch loop trails are directly accessible from the house which was amazing for biking and hiking with the dog.

A handful of us rented this VRBO to ride Lunch Loops and it was really fantastic. The host was responsive and helpful and the description was accurate. A couple of notes for future renters. When we first turned on the water it was kinda stinky. That went away immediately after running it for about a minute and wasn’t a problem for the rest of the trip. I drank tap water the rest of the trip and it was totally fine. The other thing is that there are 3 solid beds: 1 Queen, 1 Double (I think) and 1 twin. Then there is a fold out couch bed and a firm twin cushion that can be deployed on the floor. Some of the guys said the beds weren’t super comfy, but mine (The Queen) was great. Keep in mind that we are a bunch of older guys used to our comfy beds, so if you’re sleeping more than 3, just make sure that the extra people are cool with sleeping on what equates to a futon and you’ll be fine. Overall, the place was fantastic and the view is amazing. The proximity to the trails is great, and there’s a killer coffee shop just down the road.

Close enough to town while surrounded in beauty... this comfortable, roomy home has everything I needed. Each day, I would wake up to glorious views and a great breeze. At night, it was quiet with wonderful stargazing from the back patio. I could walk down to the BLM land and explore or drive/bike just up the road to fantastic trails. The owners were very kind and very quick to respond to any questions I had. I highly recommend this home for anyone wanting quiet privacy, scenic views, close proximity to town and some of the most beautiful drives in Colorado. If you stay in the area, make sure to drive through the Colorado National Monument. It starts right up the road and will blow your mind. Grand Junction has something for everyone and is so close to MANY wonderful destinations in Colorado. Thanks for such a comfortable and well-equipped home for my visit!
