About this house rental
Located in Indian Wells, this lovely house for $408 per night is a great option for your next break. **PLEASE READ FIRST** For the peak travel seasons down here of November thru April, the minimum nightly stay varies. Please send me a message and NOT A Booking Request to confirm the dates you’re interested in are available and meet our minimum stay requirement. You have just found one of the best vacation homes in the extraordinary Legacy Villa development in La Quinta, California! You have heard of mountain views… you can reach out and touch the mountains and hiking trail from this gorgeous and comfortable home. This home has been very tastefully updated and decorated with high end but very comfortable and family-friendly furniture, appointments, etc. The home has 2 en-suite bedrooms with one being a very grand master suite with stunning mountain views, a huge closet, an extra large soaking tub, fire place and so much more. There is a third, full bathroom right across the hall from the bedroom that has two twin beds and a twin size rollaway cot. The extra cozy sectional sofa also features a full size pullout mattress. The kitchen is fantastic for both professional and amateur chefs with upgraded, stainless steel appliances, a gas range and lots of space for food storage, food preparation, etc. Counter seating for 3-4 a long with the dining table that seats 6 comfortably ensures there is room for you all to eat together whether you cook in the kitchen, grill on the BBQ on the patio or order food delivery from the 100's of amazing local restaurant options. The home has all the amenities you expect (strong/reliable Wi-Fi, Smart HD televisions, workspace, private laundry machines, etc.) and so much more including bicycles, fully stocked kitchen with 3 different types of coffee machines, game/activity closet, private garage, etc. The Legacy Villas is a private, residential resort-like community set up perfectly for vacation rentals. It is quiet, serene, safe, you name it! 24/7 guards on duty with a gated entrance. There are 12 saltwater pool and hot tub complexes (2 being just a short walk from this unit). There is a dedicated lap pool, an adult-only pool and the a fantastic family oriented pool and play area with a beach-like entry, turtle fountains and resort-style cabanas. The pools are heated year round. There is a very tranquil, inviting hammock garden, an outdoor fireside lounge area, poolside café and a state of the art fitness facility at the incredible Legacy Villa Clubhouse. You can even book private/special events in the beautiful clubhouse! This particular home is in the back of the complex which means extra privacy and amazing, unobstructed views. The stargazing from the back patio is amazing and patio furniture is large, comfortable and there is plenty of room for the whole gang. Want to eat Al Fresco? The outdoor coffee table actually adjusts to an elevated position for convenient dining table height with the comfort of course of the sectional seating area. This is the 5th year that my family has come back to Legacy Villas, and Drew's property has been the best. We enjoyed our stay the property was clean and had all of the needed basics and more. My kids loved playing in the pools in the evenings and Drew was very responsive to all of our needs. We are already planning our next stay and may even book an extra because our kids still have much more to explore in the surrounding areas.

We had a great time at this condo. It was so clean and very well stocked for a vrbo. The owner was super helpful and responsive. It was a great experience and we’d definitely stay here again. The view off the patio was pretty and the condo was comfortable for us and our four kids.

I made a last minute decision to do a quick getaway... and boy am I glad I did! Ive been to the Legacy Villas a few times before but this home was by far my favorite! This villa is so spacious and beautiful (looks like an interior decorator styled the place). The pictures do not do it justice. It is so well stocked with everything you could need and I loved that it has tile in the living areas verses most of the other units are almost all carpet. Drew, the owner, was so responsive and attentive with all the details. I definitely would love to return.

This property is very well appointed with all the conveniences of home. It’s at the far end of the complex and the back patio overlooks the mountain. The patio has comfortable furniture and provided extra living space. There are two immaculate pools within steps of the property (many more available throughout property). The master bedroom is very comfortable with its own fireplace, French doors, firm mattress (which I appreciated) and huge bathroom. The overall complex is pristine with beautiful plants and fountains. Drew was easy to work with, very responsive and communicated clearly. We will be back!

Had a great experience staying at Drew's property in La Quinta. The kitchen was well stocked, the house was really clean, and overall, it was accurately depicted in the photos. Our friends also really enjoyed access to the community gym and pools.
If you're staying for Coachella, the shuttles were about a 15 minute walk away which was super convenient. The Villas are really private, security can be a bit overbearing at times, but otherwise had little trouble with the property itself.
Drew was really communicative and helpful throughout the stay. I had actually forgotten my wedding band at the house and he was kind enough to ship it back to me!
Would definitely recommend staying at his property.

It provided access to multiple pools and other amenities, and we were able to have peace of mind by not having a pool in the backyard with two kids under 3 staying with us. We’ve stayed at Legacy before and had a wonderful time! We loved the location of this unit - tucked in by the mountains, and two pools close, out the front door! Legacy is a great location if you’re looking to stay down in the Palm Springs area - grocery stores, shopping, etc nice and close!

A Winner for an Extended Family Spring Break Getaway
Our group consisted of two couples and an 18 yr old with very diverse interests for a much needed spring break. The property could not have been better suited to accommodate us. Highlights include the great deck with a spectacular rock formation view. It was a favorite hang out for morning coffee sun and evening relaxation. We had easy pool(s) access and the gym got a "thumbs up" from our group's daily user. We had a hiker with us who loved the fact that he could drive just 9 mins to access a variety of hiking trails.
The actual condo interior was as presented on line. The interior living space layout was terrific for our group. Having two en suites was important to us even though one included a king and the other a queen. For the younger member of our party, he still had his own room and bath. The only call out was that the light colored bedroom carpets were definitely beginning to show signs of a busy high season.
Our host Drew was the icing on the cake. He could not have been more responsive and accommodating throughout the entire process.

Nestled in the Desert Mountains
My family stayed here for spring break and enjoyed it immensely. The home itself is comfortable and spacious, the kitchen well stocked, and the furnishings are lovely. What made it really nice was the little touches for comfort everywhere - bath salts in the master bathroom, coffee in the kitchen, cotton pads and ponytail holders in the second bath. There are even enough Thermoflask water bottles for the whole family - essential in the desert heat. There are two bikes - one with a cup holder - and a unicorn pool floaty that was the envy of the family pool. We got lots of compliments! =)
The best part, though, was the patio overlooking the mountains. This part of the Legacy Villas development is embraced by the mountains. The patio is shaded in the afternoons, and we sat outside without fear of sunburn, enjoying the view. We ate dinner outside almost every night, watching dusk creep over us and the stars come out. The kids made a game of looking for airplanes in the night sky. The villa is high enough that you can hear other folks walking the trail behind the house, but you can’t see them. Its very private. I highly recommend this property!

This home is located in the gated community of Legacy Villas in the town of La Quinta, and was really perfect for our family of six. This particular home is in a newer part of the development up against the hills, so the view from the patio is quite striking, and very quiet. There are two smaller pools and hot tubs just a few steps from the unit, and we loved those for evening swims. The big pool near the entrance is all about the kids, and it was a blast. It is about a six minute walk, and we really loved the privacy of our unit, so the walk wasn’t an issue. We communicated easily with Drew, the owner. We were there for our grandkid’s spring break, and they said it was the best vacation they had ever had.
Nearby stores include Trader Joe’s, Sprouts and Target for food and essentials. The town of La Quinta is walking distance for active walkers, and there is a wonderful coffee shop, restaurants (loved Stuft Pizza), and a Sunday farmers market. We also ate out a couple of times - Cliffhouse and Adobe Grill. Both were good.
We will definitely stay here again.
