The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles. Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximum occupancy and quiet hours. This house is well-equipped and just a short walk from Main Street. We enjoyed our stay.

We stayed here for a family Thanksgiving (all adults). The house was very clean, the furniture was comfortable and we especially enjoyed the den when the afternoon sun was through the windows.The stairs going up to the second level are beautiful.
The walk to the restaurants and shops on Main Street was quick and relatively easy.
On the other hand there were a few things that could have been better. There were no dish towels or dish drainer in the kitchen when we arrived, which is a problem if you want to do much cooking and need to clean up the dishes.
Never could get the smart tv to work - in spite of what the instructions in the binder said, there didn't seem to be a connection to Spectrum. Also, the dryer didn't work - it would shut off about 5 minutes in to all the cycles we tried.
Finally, to enter the house you need to go up a somewhat steep set of stairs. If there had been a way to lock the front door behind us we could have used that to go in and out at street level instead. My husbands bad knees would have appreciated that very much.
Overall, I would definitely rent the house again, but a few things could be improved on.

Great house.. all amenities superb…. Lovely large house room for all to spread out and have great time…only complaint not enough pits and pans to cook or big bowl( mixing)…. But everything else perfect…

House was very clean when we arrived. Furniture was comfortable. Glad we could bring our dogs. NOTE: there is a fenced yard, but it is not secure for SMALL dogs, up to 30 lbs.
The first 3 days were very hot on the second floor due to AC being broken. Rooms had individual window AC units to try and compensate, but it was hot.
Vacasa sent AC tech to fix problem which was much appreciated. We were not aware there was a problem so we didn't call it in. It would have been helpful for Vacasa to have made us aware that the unit was broken.
Otherwise it was a nice house, spacious, clean, comfortable and close to Main St.

Everything was great except describing as 4 bedroom was a little misleading. 4th bedroom upstairs was actually smaller than the master closet. Had to move furniture out of room to open murphy bed.

This is a nice, old house near downtown Waynesville. The upgrades make it very nice for those of us who like an old house but with modern conveniences. The master suite is huge! We would definitely consider staying there again.

The house was so lovely and a great location. All the furnishings were nice quality and comfortable. The management company though was bad. We had a few significant issues that were never addressed during our 7 day stay. The dryer did not work, a huge problem with a family of 6 staying for a week. Also, the door to the downstairs bathroom completely fell off the hinges, a major inconvenience and safety Hazzard. I called, texted the management company several times and got no solution.

White Oak Manor was a lovely place to stay. We stayed 3 nights along with two other couples while attending HLS. The house was clean and comfortable. Loved the kitchen for preparing meals and the big dining room for sharing them. Our only complaint was that the deck really needed cleaning. We enjoyed having meals outdoors and just hanging out on the deck, but we had to clean the furniture and tables because they looked like they hadn't been sprayed off or cleaned since last summer ( lots of pollen and tree debris). Just FYI the front porch swing is broken! If someone of any real weight sits down on the left end, they will be busting their butt on the floor. Might want to get that repaired before someone gets hurt!

Went with 5 friends for a girls weekend. House was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed. The walkable proximity to downtown, shops and restaurants was great. Had two dogs with us so the pet friendly accommodations and fenced backyard was a bonus. Will definitely come back again

The entire experience was delightful. Within a short 15-20 minute drive we were in Maggie Valley. The home was very clean and well equipped with everything you can imagine. The only thing to mention for other guests-There’s a room upstairs next to master that is very small. Has a Murphy bed that takes up entire room. There wasn’t enough bedding for that bed so we used a blanket for the fitted sheet. Not a problem though as we made it work. The home is lovely. It’s just like the pictures/described if not better. We had a wonderful time and if we visit this area again we would stay again in this house. It felt like home away from home. Our kids loved the space and warmth of the house, with so many cool features.

Perfect location
Two minute walk to shopping and dining, 30 minute drive to casinos, 15 minutes to snow tubing and ski slopes...this home is very spacious and well appointed. Our family ages ranged from 8-68 and there was something for everyone!

Great House / Terrible Agent
We stayed four four nights on 10/31/21. To the owners of this home we thank you for sharing this cozy, convenient and historic home with our family and our dog. This is an awesome place. Unfortunately our stay was lacking due to the very poor efforts of the property manager Turnkey. We were notified two nights before arrival that the shower would be unavailable in the 2nd bathroom upstairs due to a leak and we'd be given a credit for the inconvenience. We arrived and the entire bathroom was unusable, the shower repair person had left a heater humidifier running in the bathroom in the tight space between the sink and the toilet. Our guest upstairs had to share the master bathroom with us and the biggest nuisance would be them having to go through to use the bathroom when we were trying to sleep. By the third night our nerves were on edge. Our attempts to "speak" to the local property manager from Turnkey fell on deaf ears. You can only contact the call center via an 800 number and put in a request to be contacted. Texting was the only form of communication with the agent from that point, without any semblance of empathy. Yes they gave us a credit. It was appreciated however, speaking to a property manager who might explain to us how the "miscommunication" about the entire bathroom being unavailable and our stay not being exactly as advertised never occurred. I've called the national call center back and have been told three times someone would call me to answer our concerns, not once has that happened. The handyman came in and took down the equipment from between the sink and toilet for the final night of our stay. I spoke to him the same day, he was nice and said we should have been told the entire bathroom was not usable. Someone of authority called him to contact us and make sure it was okay to come in since we had the dog (we took the dog with us that day). We never once got a call from the property manager. Based on this experience, I would never feel comfortable using Turnkey again.

Our two families that stayed had plenty of room to spread out. I will say, one of the bedrooms was extremely small. So much so that the Murphy bed literally took up the entire room. There was no room for a suit case or bags in that particular room. The only real issue we had was that the house slept 8 people and we only had 6 towels in the house. We ended up going to purchase more towels so everyone could have one.
We would definitely stay here again!
