Located in Avon Park, this lovely house for $189 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Spacious lake house with private dock, kayak, canoe & great fishing. Come enjoy our vacation home, the 2nd floor has a large master suite with a private balcony facing the lake, a king size bed, & a master bathroom for your private retreat. On the 1st floor it has 2 spacious bedrooms, a brand new kitchen, a living room, dining room and a very relaxing deck looking at the lake, the house has reliable internet and smart TVs, and we also have a huge yard with fruit trees.

the property was off the main highway and was easy to find. It is a big property and house was very clean. There was one issue and when i contacted the owner they resolved the issue quickly, which i appreciate. I would stay there again.

Nice view of the lake from inside and out. Yard could use some landscaping and no dock. House was clean. Good restaurants in the area

Home seems to be a work in progress, but the down stairs has been done nicely. Quite comfortable stay. Family caught a number of fish in the lake using the canoe provided. Oval all good stay.

There were a lot of bugs flying around in the upstairs "master", after some investigation I found one of the windows was broken. Instead of fixing the glass, the owner placed a piece of plexiglass over the broken window rather than fixing it. The beds in the remaining rooms were of low quality, not comfortable at all. The floors in the living room were sticky, so I didn't spend a lot of time in it. I wanted to leave my scuba gear in the house while I went for dinner, but found none of the windows would actually lock. Ended up packing all my gear into my car while I went for food. While the owner was fairly responsive and flexible, its not a place I would stay again or recommend others to stay.

The property host was totally unreachable. Firstly the exterior of and landscaping/maintenance is horrible. While the interior looks newly refurbished the number of bugs and gnats inside were terrible. But the worst issue was the air conditioning unit for the upstairs bedroom wasn’t cooling at all and the room temperature was in the high 80’s all night. That was intolerable for sleeping so two of us had to sleep on the couch. I left several voice mail messages about this problem with Carlos and he never replied. I contacted Vrbo “Help” but the process was to cumbersome to do on my phone so that was never completed.

The property appears to be a quaint cottage but very updated inside. The view of the lake and its surroundings from the back of the property was beautiful.

Enjoyed our stay. House very clean and uncluttered. Recommend dresser(s) in the bedrooms. Would definitely stay again.
