We have been to Tanglewood before but this was the first time staying in this unit. It is really nicely laid out and decorated, spacious and clean. Communication from the property manager had clear instructions, the messages were automated. The property had everything we needed so overall it was a really happy, seamless summer holiday! We would definitely stay here again in the future.

I booked a 3 week stay in October of 2020 only to find out that due to some error by the property management company, Break Away Vacations, we were in fact going to have to stay in different unit. To make matters worse, I only found out about the change when they sent the arrival instructions just days before check-in. We had originally booked a unit that had all 3 bedrooms on the main floor to accommodate our grandchildren, ages 2 and & years old and their parents. The unit we ended up having to stay in had only one small bedroom on the main floor with bunkbeds, which may be suitable for older children but not appropriate for young children or large adults. So I woudn't classify this unit as one that sleeps 6. After many conversations with the manager of Breakaway Vacations we did get a minimum level of compensation for the huge issue this created for our family vacation. The unit we ended up having to stay in was very overall, although very warm on the 2nd floor. We had to go purchase a fan as only 2 were provided. Tanglewood itself is a very nice development with easy access to beautiful Rathtrevor Beach. It is quite a walk from this unit so if you have small children I recommend you bring a wagon.

Tranquil and Easy Access to Everything

We stayed a week and enjoyed every moment. The high ceilings and open concept made the townhouse feel much larger than it probably was. More than enough room for the three of us and a very convenient floor plan. The property is in a very quiet setting and is easy to access. It was well appointed; basically bring your food. A short walk down to an expansive beach and steps away from Riptide Lagoon Adventure Golf. We would not hesitate staying at a Tanglewood property in the future. Thanks for sharing your home with us.

Thank you. We had such a great mini vacation. The cottage was clean, with a great layout for 6 guests! Everyone had a room. The gas fire made for great ambiance. We used the dishwasher, washer and dryer thank you! Had great walks on the beach, went on hikes, completed puzzles, had time to read and spend time together. thank you. We had one hiccup as we had to ask a couple of times for the wifi code which caused some concern as a couple of our children had school apts during the trip, once that was resolved we were full steam ahead. We would definitely return!
