Peaceful very peaceful.

Had a great time. Beautiful house and my kids loved the hot tub. I even hand fed a deer which was fun.

House was very nice and very clean. Owner was always available if needed. Outside was nice but needs gravel around firepit area as it got very muddy after it rained. I would recommend leaf blowing before a renter comes due to acorns and leaves from all the trees. Loved the brooke, would be great to have a path to it. Location was good for what we set out to do. Community was ok, have to be cautious when walking around as many cars tend to drive very fast on main and side roads. Overall very nice house, had lots of fun. Hot tub was a great amenity.

As parents of 3 teenagers this was the first time my husband and I decided we needed a little time for ourselves for our 20th anniversary! This beautiful and exceptionally clean home was perfect! We had gone whitewater rafting down the Lehigh river and then it took us 45 minutes to get to this beautiful community at Penn estates. We wanted to get right into the hot tub but couldn't figure out how to raise the temperature. I contacted the owner and she responded right away with a quick answer which immediately solved the problem. We very much enjoyed the hot tub and being outside. We went for a hike at Bushkill Falls the next day which is only 1/2 hour away which was amazing and then back into the hot tub when we got back! We only used the first floor which has the living room, kitchen and 1 master bedroom with a very comfortable mattress and bathroom. Upstairs has plenty of space for more to stay - we were thinking of coming back in the winter with our whole family for a ski trip! Thanks for a wonderful getaway - we had an awesome time!

Caitlyn was a fantastic host first of all. She responded to my emails immediately and made sure we had everything we needed. The house was very cozy and we absolutely loved the creek in the back. We had a momma deer and her two babies visit us every morning and evening, it was so neat! The house is very loud- I know it’s not Caitlyn’s fault though. I took our 5 month old and he had trouble staying asleep with all the floor boards creaking and noise traveling so easily. But we got through it! The only thing that would have made our stay better would be a little cleared path to the creek. It was a little scary walking over the rocks with my 5 month old to get to the creek. My teenagers weren’t bothered by it at all though haha! Overall we had an amazing trip. The house was clean and beautiful, and the host was amazing. Definitely will stay here again once my little one sleeps better haha!

Lovely place, good proximity to hiking and skiing. Quiet. Clean and well-stocked kitchen. Fire place and hot tub were highlights, especially in winter. Foosball table and video games entertained the teenagers. Grocery shopping relatively nearby. Remotes needed batteries so we were able to purchase some. Host was responsive and kind.

House is well furnished and well prepared for your family stay. There’s puzzles, games, ping pong and even foosball. There’s just enough woods for the local deer to come visit and they expect delicious apples!!! The host reached out to us numerous times to make sure our stay was perfect, we didn’t need anything as she has this home set up perfectly for a great family vacation. Would def stay again.

We stayed here for our vacation as we like the peace and quiet of the "woods". The house was clean and was updated decor wise. The land is wooded and has a lot of tree cover. The deck is a tad small but it was still nice to sit out to enjoy the day/evenings. There is a stream in the back of the property but unfortunately it had almost no water due to the lack of rain recently. We did have a lot of deer come through, some withing 10 feet away from me. The hosts were great! Very friendly, prompt, and was wanting to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The Hot Tub on the deck was low on water when we arrived and had a bunch of acorns from the trees above in it. I informed Caitlyn of this as we didn't want to damage the Hot Tub and she was very prompt in wanting to make it right for us. Although I told her it was not urgent, her and her husband made a trip down from NY in a few hours to service the Hot Tub for us so we could use it that night. I can't speak enough of their friendliness and great communications from Caitlyn. I would say the only slight negative, and this is certainly not a deal breaker at all, was that the community pool was situated in the back of the property, and although you could not see it due to the trees, you did hear the kids/people pretty clearly during the day. Still a very nice place and would definitely recommend.
