We loved nearly everything about this property. The listing and pictures fall a bit short in describing this lovely home/view.
The shell filled shoreline is steps away from the deck and a wonderful place to sit and relax. The views from the entire back of the home overlook the water and have magnificent sunsets. Very private location just minutes away from downtown Bristol which has wonderful restaurants and shopping. Highly recommend!

Booked the property for a week’s stay for my mother who was visiting for my son’s wedding. The house is adorable with a lot of unique features (that window over the kitchen sink is very cool) and the view is something out of a travel guide.
The owner and his daughter, who manages the property, are so helpful and attentive and that’s no small feat in dealing with my mother.
Recommend wholeheartedly.

This was place is all you really need. Quiet and private. Lovely spacious cottage. Comfy beds, nice large deck for beautiful water views. We hung out and swam off the small beach. Put our kayaks in and really enjoyed the calm waters. Right over the bridge we loved to check out the restaurants and shopping. Nothing disappointing and we hope to book again!

We were in Portsmouth to celebrate my Niece’s Wedding. It was the perfect location. House is so open and airy, tons of windows, comfy furniture and great deck area. But the best part was the AMAZING VIEW! Just BEAUTIFUL! We would rent this home again for sure. Thank you Larry 😊

Amazing Location
We were in Portsmouth to celebrate my Niece’s Wedding. It was the perfect location. House is so open and airy, tons of windows, comfy furniture and great deck area. But the best part was the AMAZING VIEW! Just BEAUTIFUL! We would rent this home again for sure. Thank you Larry 😊

This one is a winner. There are windows all along the wall of the property facing the water. The windows all open easily everywhere in the house and have screens. The breezes and the view was an incredibly calming, peaceful experience - exactly what my sister and I sought. The bridge's proximity did not cause noise issues. The lawn is immaculate and I recommend the guy who advertises on Boyd's road for "car detailing" on his homemade sign. Joe made my car absolutely beautiful for a very reasonable price.

Only complaint was that rooms didn't have an AC unit nor part of the main house AC. Context is that it was one of the hottest days this year so I slept on the couch but regardless, everything was perfect, booking again late Sept. (Get some window units guys, this would be 5 stars all the way with that inexpensive investment)

Lovely Portsmouth getaway
We had a very peaceful stay at this amazing home in an incredible location right on Narragansett Bay, literally under the Mount Hope Bridge. Our stay was cut a bit short because of hurricane Henri, but we were very glad to have enjoying a few lovely days, the property was even better than advertised, clean and very well equipped. Thank you Larry! We hope to return and stay longer next time :-)

The owner of this property is extremely accommodating. The process was quite simple. The location is literally a “hidden-gem.” Very special place, magical location, and everything you need to relax and get to where you need to within 30 minutes of the Newport area.

This cottage has lots of yard around it and access to the water. The deck is beautiful. The cottage has 2 bedrooms and very spacious sitting and eating areas. There are windows all across the back of the cottage so it is absolutely beautiful day or night. It was equipped with everything we could have needed. The location is ideal- close to Bristol and Portsmouth and a short drive to Newport. If we’re in the area again we would try to get this cottage again.
