All new stainless steel appliances with a double oven range, side by side refrigerator freezer, quiet dish washer, trash compactor, apron front sink and all new custom built cabinets. All new plumbing and electrical. Bathroom has upgraded fixtures. This house has one full bathroom and one outside shower. Curl up in front of the wood burning fireplace for some of those chilly coastal nights. Or stretch out on the sectional and watch a movie on the flatscreen TV. The beachfront sunroom’s day bed is the perfect place to watch the waves roll in. Large private deck with plenty of room to entertain friends or have a nice ocean front breakfast. Updated deck furniture for your enjoyment! Utility room with new washer and dryer and a large entry to kick off your sandy shoes after a long walk on the beach. This place was everything we wanted it to be. Lovely beach house with big views of the water. Enjoyed long walks on the beach every day and cooking meals in the beautiful kitchen. The owner was also incredibly gracious and helpful in helping us get a backpack back that we left behind. We will be back here someday for sure.

I grew up in this house and I was so happy to return and see that the owners have kept the charm still going! Everything you can need during a vacation is right there in the home! The beds are wonderfully comfortable and you can't beat the deck view. The owner was responsive within minutes for questions or needs and it is evident that she really cares about the home. Thank you for a wonderful trip down memory lane!

We loved our stay at this property! Owner Kirsten was very accommodating and communicated all information promptly and thoroughly. The property is very clean with cute beachy decor. We lit a fire in the large stone fireplace each night of our stay which created such a cozy cottage atmosphere. The beds were extremely comfortable with plenty of extra pillows and blankets. Huge stretch of beautiful beach is just a few steps away. Ocean view from the house could not be better! Highly recommend Rockaway Roastery, Beach Bakeshop and Crab Rock Pizza for amazing food. Will definitely stay here again!!

Great little house in a primo location. Clean, nicely appointed, and well organized. My only feedback would be the deck furniture needs to be upgraded - chaise lounges, a nicer outdoor dining set, adirondack chairs etc. We would definitely book this property again!

The view from the back deck is great, and we sat for hours enjoying the sound of the surf. We are senior citizens, so we would have appreciated an easier way down to the beach, but we were still able to handle it a couple of times.

This house is lovely: so comfortable and well laid out. The bed and sheets were so comfortable. The daybed with the view of the ocean is absolute heaven. I could (and did) sit there for hours reading or just watching the ocean. The house binder had great recommendations for food too. We got Indian takeout that lasted two days, which meant we barely cooked. So lovely!

This is the perfect place for a couple or small family to relax and enjoy the ocean view. The ocean beach is within feet of the deck and the view is spectacular. The furniture, bed, and amenities were very comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked. We will be returning annually.

This lovely cottage has many great characteristics but possibly its best is the view of the Pacific Ocean right off the deck! We were there over a couple incredibly stormy, windy, rainy days and still enjoyed the proximity to this ever-changing sea view, especially from the cozy sunroom.

Overall, this place was beautiful and just as it had been described. You don’t get much better than the view that was offered by this property. We really enjoyed our stay. Rockaway Beach is a good central location to explore the Oregon coast line.
Overall, the house had great amenities and was generally clean. Upon arrival we did notice that there were food crumbs on the kitchen counter, and the sectional in the living room had hair and some crumbs on it. Nothing we couldn’t clean ourselves, but it was just a bit disappointing to find. Other that that, everything was fabulous.

We are a family of 3 and stayed at this beachfront cottage for mid winter break. Even though the weather outside was frightful (snowed!) the cottage was warm and inviting. We especially appreciated the wood burning fireplace.
The views were unbeatable so even if we didn’t want to venture out we could still see the beach and ocean.
Cottage was clean, well stocked and close to everything.
We would definitely stay again!

We love this property - it's where we go for our annual girls trip and I couldn't say enough good things about the house itself and the property manager. Fully stocked kitchen makes a huge difference, too! Can't wait to be back!

Our trip was all about getting away and we spent much of it on that sofa by the window, just enjoying the majestic waves for hours. Wow! The property is cute and comfortable...our favorite girls-getaway kinda place. Looking forward to going back.

It’s so hard to find updated beach houses along the Oregon coast, especially ones that are beachfront! Kirsten’s beach house is thoughtfully renovated with all the amenities you’ll need including new appliances and a very comfortable king bed. Nothing beats waking up and enjoying your morning coffee with the Ocean at your doorstep. Would absolutely stay again.

I just loved staying here and will definitely be back! We stayed in winter and enjoyed watching the huge waves and stormy ocean, which is directly outside the house, you're as close to the water as could be. We found the bed extremely comfy, the kitchen well-stocked, and enjoyed a real fire in the fireplace. Thank you!!

First time to Oregon, and all I can say is "Wow, Wow, Wow". Our stay was absolutely fantastic!! And to top it off we had the best house in Rockaway Beach!! From the moment you walk in, its cozy, beachy, and it feels like home, very comfortable. There were 5 of us, myself, my two daughters (college age) both had a friend, house full of girls. I had the best room in the house, daybed in the sunroom. They took the bedrooms, but every morning my cozy little bed was full of girls because the view of the oceanfront is spectacular!! The home is stocked with everything you need / want, you won't need to bring a thing Kirsten definitely has it going on. We were always excited to come home after our daily adventures to cook, hangout, build fires on the beach, watch the sunset and that deck...WOWERS!!!! The only negative about our stay was we had to leave. Thanks, Kirsten, for sharing your beautiful home and our memories created are even more special!!!! Love ♥ Love ♥ Love, already planning our next trip.

Rockaway is our favorite getaway and finding this cottage was perfect. The location is absolutely wonderful. Walk out on the deck and there is the ocean. We loved sitting out there with coffee and a book. The cottage itself is charming. Comfortable and has all the amenities you need. The sunroom in the back was a delightful place to sit out of the wind and watch the ocean. Beach access is fairly easy, with a path and stone steps right next door. I didn't want to leave.

We loved this house. Highlights were walking to get clam chowder and eating it on the deck and sunset bonfires on the beach. Such a picture perfect little cottage.

Great place but it is not a 3 bedroom 2 bath. The 3rd bed is actually a sunroom with a day bed that is part of the living room—there is no door or wall for privacy. The 2nd bathroom is an outside shower and no toilet. I would not use this outside shower. This is really a 2 bedroom 1 bath home. The home itself is lovely and the locations is great! Access to the beach is tricky for elderly as it is a natural rock staircase with no railings for balance, so you have to be really careful.

Perfect ocean view home
This is my favorite house that I have stayed at in Rockaway. I spend most all my time outside on the big deck. The home is really pretty and nicely decorated. The beds were very comfortable. I love cooking in this kitchen. I want a double oven after cooking with this one.

House was exactly as portrayed in the VRBO listing. It was clean and well stocked with everything needed to enjoy everything about the beach -- including crab. We had a nice, relaxing stay. Thank you Kirsten.
