Took the family and enjoyed our stay at the house. Overall house was clean and spaceous. The spider webs on the porch could have been removed. Do not let that deter you from staying here. Nature on the Island is completely normal. Enjoyed the house and the area very much.

Everything was great- but you cant tell from the pic that the beach is down a wall of rocks- I thought we would be able to access it from the back yard.
Also there is no bathroom in the upstairs master room which is really nice- but going down stairs in the middle of the night was a bummer- Maybe I'm spoiled. View is great- the curtians in the down stairs bedroom do open and close but you really have to work at it. But had a good time thanks

We loved watching the ocean life right outside the front porch. Very nice vacation.

Beautiful and cozy place for our family to gather while taking in breathtaking views of the water. We loved stepping right onto the beach. Beach walks every morning to start the day!

Finding and accessing the property was very easy. The house was very clean and well appointed. Situated right on Puget Sound, the view was spectacular. We would definitely book again, and recommend to friends.

Past reviews indicated no iron and , hairdryer. This is still the case. Limited kitchen supplies. Also could use a kettle. The house outside is unkept. Patio seating was broken and unwelcoming.

We (three moms) stayed her Mother's Day for a weekend getaway of recharging and relaxing. It was absolutely perfect. We looked at the water, did puzzles, and went into town. Perfect location for a quiet weekend away.

We had a wonderful time at this efficient, tasteful and comfortable beachside home. Easy access to the beach, privacy and every comfort was provided. We will look forward to our next visit! Thank you for a lovely week away.

Easy to use, comfy beds and nice private stay. Would highly recommend!

Plus we saw orcas from the porch of the house! And a ton of seals! It was a special weekend visiting Whidbey and the house had everything we needed for our family.

This is such a nice place to stay. Right on the water and 3 private bedrooms with queen size beds.

This was likely the cleanest home I've ever rented and very well laid out with all the comforts of home. Vacasa made the process of checking in and out very simple. There were a few basic items missing like good knives, serving platters and baking sheets but we made do just fine. The views from the property are stunning and we especially appreciated the visits by the local bald eagles each morning! I'd positively recommend this home to anyone wanting a quick getaway from the city!

Wonderful views. Comfortable, clean, and well stocked.

This is a lovely island getaway. The house appears to be recently remodeled, the kitchen is well appointed, it's right in between Langley and Freeland and is close to the Clinton ferry, and it's right on the water with direct beach access. So what's not to love. We've already stayed here twice and will be going back again.

The house was clean and tidy and the location and views were amazing.
We were very disappointed in the furnishings, which were extremely uncomfortable and insufficient for a group of six. There isn't enough seating in the TV area to accommodate six people, and the sofa and chair that are there are cheap and uncomfortable. (Both the sofa and chair have very low backs, which aren't good for relaxing/watching movies.) My elderly father-in-law hit his head on the wall behind the sofa because the back is so low.

My husband and I stayed at Whidbey on the Water a few weeks ago with our kids and my parents. The house was very clean when we arrived and was quite comfortable for us during our stay. The views from the house are absolutely stunning and the location right on the beach is so much fun. The tide goes pretty far out at low tide, allowing quite a bit of beach for kids to play. It also makes it possible for setting crab traps (which we didn't do, but lots of other homes around us did). When the tide comes in it is still pretty shallow, so we were able to swim and wade around in the water (bring lifejackets if you have young kiddos!).
The house is on a quiet street, and the neighbors were really friendly and provided helpful information on what to explore on the island. We had a wonderful stay and cannot wait to go back!
Pros:
• Amazing views!
• Right on the beach
• Comfortable layout
• Lots of DVD options and games available
• Beach towels available so you don’t have to pack your own
• Lots of wildlife! We saw seals, bald eagles, and even a deer right off the back deck
Cons: None of these were deal breakers!
• Limited appliances in the kitchen (no baking sheet, a very small assortment of cooking knives, etc)
• Blinds in the downstairs bedroom were broken so we couldn’t easily enjoy the view
• Not the most comfortable bed (at least in our room)
Good info to know:
• No BBQ for grilling
• Once you get off the rocky part of the beach (into the sand), it is VERY mucky. Not a problem for kids, but adults should be prepared to sink (up to your knees in some places!). Take tiny baby steps to help avoid this. Don't wear sandals or you could lose them in the sand.
• The house is in a remote location, so expect to drive a bit to get anywhere.
• There were fans available and between that and the breeze, we stayed very comfortable, even in 80+ degree weather.
• Toiletries were provided (shampoo, conditioner, bar soap) as well as toilet paper, paper towels, and lots of extra blankets and towels
If you are looking for a wonderful place to stay on south Whidbey Island, I highly recommend Whidbey on the Water!

The ambience was a bit sparse, however, we pretty much had everything we needed. Lots of dishes/cups/cutlery. Plus who needs much when the locations is great. The views are beyond wonderful and enjoyed walking on the beach and watching sunsets/sunrises. It was easy to communicate with the property managers.

This is the perfect waterfront property in Langley. The roads to and from show the view along the coast line. Once you get to the home you get to enjoy all of the views from every floor inside. As we/my wife and I got to stay here for four days three nights the upper level is where we spent most of our time day and night the room is HUGE & inviting the views are spectacular and it was our anniversary away together. This location was definitely one to be remembered this homes proximity to the town in Langley, where we ventured into one of the days and just enjoyed eating at , the Braeburn, looking at glass being made next-door to the Braeburn, walking around the city, seeing BIG rabbits out and about playing, coffee, visiting the thrift store, where we spent a good amount of time and found some treasures, stopped at Edit store where I found one of my new favorite scarfs, continuing on to several stores in an out around town, and then landing on a Ramen place for dinner. The people of the town are special. We felt welcomed and can’t stop talking about it with our friends now that we’re back home.

We had a great stay. The house was perfect. It had everything we needed and plenty of room for a 2 year old to run around (and not break anything!). We managed to catch a few good low tides and get out onto the beach for shell collecting and exploring but otherwise enjoyed watching the water for seals and birds during high tide (a little disappointed we weren’t there during whale season). We cooked only a few meals at “home”. The kitchen had everything we needed. Plenty of good restaurants in Langley and Freeland that were relatively close enough for take out (watch out as not everything was open or had strange schedules due to off season & labor shortages). We explored a new beach/hiking trail everyday. Almost everything was within an easy 30-40 minutes (Deception Pass was 1 hour but so worth it). We would definitely stay here again.

Communication with the host was great, view was amazing, place was clean and lovely but the loving room furniture and upstairs furniture was so uncomfortable. I'm an average size woman and alot of the features like bathroom sinks and fireplace were small. I have a picture of my husband in the shower. He looked like Elf. His head couldn't come close to being under the shower head. I would return if some features like such were upgraded to make it more usable and comfortable.

Loved our stay in this beautiful home…the amazing view and sounds of the waves and the birds were absolute heaven! So peaceful and comfortable and tastefully decorated. The home was clean, and everything worked perfectly. Plenty of hand soap, supplies, linens, etc. Would definitely stay here again!

We loved everything about our stay in this house and it’s location. Everything went smoothly getting in and checking out and it had everything we needed. I over packed in anticipation of things I thought it might not have and those things were actually there. Only things that I think would make it I’m just a little bit sweeter would be maybe an outdoor seating area on the back patio, like a picnic bench or something and a fire pit so families can roast marshmallows under the stars. Other than that it was fantastic and we thank you for your check ins just to make sure we were OK. We will definitely be renting this house again in the future. The island and the house and location we’re just magical.
Thank you for everything

3 best friends spend a great time together at this wonderful home. Everything we needed and more was there available for us.
The place was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed.
But the best rhing of all was the view from our deck!
So gorgeous, we had a hard time leaving and will miss our special place on “our” island very miss.

The place is even better than the photos show. Nice quiet spot, right on the water. Beautiful sunsets (in August), watching whales from the deck, nice walks on the beach at low tide…. Such a beautiful spot. We will be back. House is well laid out, furnished and supplied - and supported our family well. Only comment or improvement would be to add a kettle!

Great location. Loved access to the water, and playing in backyard sand. View was amazing and saw eagles and a seal. But unfortunately the dryer didn’t work so I had washed everything the night before leaving and had to pack a suitcase of wet clothes rather than clean laundry. Also there was no house manual/binder. No local tidbits/suggestions/maps. No information on the six remotes on the table and how to work everything. A record player with a manual but the manual was for a different record player than what was in the house!?! And the outdoor trash closet was overflowing when we brought our trash out near the end of the week. Overall lots of beachfront fun, but there could be some improvement for guest comfort.

Great place to stay with the fam, hard to beat the location. Couldn’t get ahold of the property manager, so fyi there’s no grill. Clean space, easy check in and out. Would definitely recommend and book again.

Property was nice but I have major concerns regarding communication w/ this property. 1st time staying in a vacation property rental, not a hotel. I don't believe I will stay again, as I felt completely lost & on my own w/ no one willing to help me or any real way to get in touch with someone. I was texted upon arriving at the property asking for my insight on cleanliness. I replied w/ a 4 of 5 stars (there were some hairs in the bathroom), replying 30 minutes after I received the text, adding the unsettling fact that the back door was left completely open, not just unlocked, but truly open. Their reply:
"We are happy to hear the cleanliness of the home held up to your expectations. As for the issues you mentioned I am informing your local staff so this can be addressed as soon as possible. Please let us know if we can help you w/ anything else by replying back to this message & we will be more than happy to help. Have a great rest of your day!"
We were in town for a family wedding 2 days later, on Saturday. When getting ready for the wedding, 3 adults took showers & then realized there was NO HAIR DRYER in the property. We all looked everywhere, but not one. I texted this message to the same # tha texted me inquiring about my initial thoughts on the cleanliness of the property, the one that said to please let them know if they could help me w/ anything else by replying back to their message & they would be "more than happy to help."
"Please tell me where the hair dryer is in this house. We can not find it anywhere. We have 3 wet heads & heading to a family wedding soon."
I RECEIVED NOTHING. NOT A SINGLE REPLY OR ACKNOWLEDGEMENT AT ALL. They acted as if they would be there for whatever I needed but when I came to them for help, they were missing in action. I never received anything else at all. No communication whatsoever. If I was in a hotel, I could call the front desk 24 hours a day and be able to get assistance with whatever I needed, at least for absolute certainty a basic need of a hair dryer!
In addition to no hair dryer, there wasn't an iron either. Again, a hotel has irons. These two amenities to me are very simple basics & I expect them to be in any rental, hotel (which they always have, & for years done so) or private property rental (not this one). I had to borrow a hair dryer from another rental property a 1/4 mile away. I got lucky, what if there wasn't someone I found? We go to the family wedding with wet hair?

This house is right on the water and it has great views of the Saratoga Passage. It also have a great location on the island. It's right in between Langley and Freeland, so it's easy to get into the towns if you need to visit the grocery store or want to do some shopping.

Very nice, clean, well equipped. A bit smaller than the photos indicate, but plenty of room. Seven mile drive or bike to Langley for dining, museum, shops, gardens. Very friendly village. Close to hiking, kayaking. Eagles landing and hunting on beach and water right in front of house! Harbor seals, loons, lots of interesting birds and other wildlife nearby. Very peaceful setting.
Bring clothes hangers if you want them, but there was detergent, tissue paper, etc. available, as well as lots of clean towels & bedding & a stocked kitchen. Keurig & drip coffee makers available, But you might need to bring your coffee supply, of course. A few supplies like sugar and seasonings are available, and check the pantry cupboard for supplies others have donated.
Only downside is it’s quite difficult to get hold of Vacasa, the property manager, once you have booked your stay. Regardless, I would highly recommend this property if you’d like to be right on the water.

Beautiful view home
We enjoyed our stay at Whidbey on the Water. The local property manager was very responsive and helpful. The home has beautiful views, and during low tides, has a nice beach to walk. There is room to improve on the amenities within the home. Most of kitchenware is very old and limited, actually impacted some of the meals we made. The upstairs bedroom had an unpleasant smell, despite repeatedly airing out the space. The downstairs tub was clogged. Several of the dining table chairs were broken, we had to fix the screws to make them safer. Overall, a very pleasant stay - just be prepared very basic supplied home, on the lower quality side of things… but the peaceful view makes up for it!

We stayed here this past weekend in April. The property was easy to find and we really, really enjoyed the location. The back porch has the most amazing view of the water. We even got to see an eagle up close and personal. The street seemed to be pretty empty this weekend - we saw one family walking along the beach at low tide. The location was so quiet and peaceful. We loved sitting outside on the deck and having snacks out there. I am not sure how it is in the summer but the other houses are pretty close so I am not sure how private and quiet the back porch would be. We used some of the board games and watched movies. The house was clean and all the appliances were in working order. The only weird thing was the hand soap in the bathrooms was literally water - thankfully we brought our own. The rest of the home was super comfortable and we mostly stayed downstairs in the living room or on the porch enjoying the view. I would definitely come back again!
