The sheets were nasty and we had to call and get new ones, but housekeeping was no longer there and we had to wait until the next morning to get clean sheets. The dryer had standing brown water and we couldn’t use it. The area is not safe. Our Uber driver was a little worried driving us there and said several times for us to be careful.

Not to far from everything we wanted to see in New Orleans. Loved the rooftop patio.

I had a great time. The location was good and out the way from the craziness but, still close enough to have fun.

we enjoyed our stay here in Dec. I took my boyfriend here for his birthday to experience NOLA for the first time. we loved it. the place was clean and next to the water. nice and peaceful. more then enough room. nice to have a full kitchen and living room to hang out in. the people in the area were nice as well. No complaints.

The staff are kind and very helpful. Rooms where clean and neat. Sleeper sofa not clean but staff address it and quickly. Air conditioning didn’t work in one of the rooms but they had it fixed within 5 minutes.
Beautiful quiet and very family friendly. Food and drinks excellent.
We will be going back. Thank you for a very memorable two days. 🥰

The property was clean, safe and convenient. Loved the rooftop deck! Could use shower curtains, wine glasses and a corkscrew. A few extras would have been nice.

Okay
My family & I stayed here for 6 days & 7 nights. I was hesitant b/c of some of the reviews which I wanted to take the time to explain or dispel. The property is in New Orleans East which in itself is not a safe area. However, the resort is a hidden gem. It has a secure gate & security. I felt very safe moving about day or night.
I did not have a problem with the shower pressure. I did, however, have a problem with space. I am 5’2 & about 140lbs. It was near impossible to wash my hair while remaining in the shower. Forget shaving. There is zero space to put soaps etc. I HATE brushing up against the curtain & there was definitely no helping that. I also nearly gave myself a concussion when I went to rinse my hair hitting my head on the wall, I wound up taking 2 showers while there. Also, I would not recommend using the bathrooms by the pool.
The restaurant was awesome. We wished we would have known about the rec room in the back sooner!
For the most part communication wasn’t a problem. It’s better to go into the gift shop & speak to whoever is there though. I think that is who runs it. Outside of “business hours” it was hard to reach anyone. You do get a number for security.
You do have to pay for WiFi if you want WiFi which I felt was ridiculous. I’ve never stayed anywhere in today’s age that charged for that & don’t recall noting it in the description . I have hot spots on my phone plan so we made do.
There was no pot to boil water i asked & thus bought one. I’d recommend making sure you have toiletries, extra tp, paper towels, and I’d probably bring your own pillows. The beds were super comfortable and so were the pillows if you were sitting up. But laying down, you sank into the bed and your head was atop this very thick, not really giving, pillow. Make sure you also bring laundry stuff. This location doesn’t provide as much as other rentals do. The TVs were much better than other rentals I’ve stayed at. Overall, Comfortable. Great views, pool, hot tub, & restaurant were all pluses.
THE MAJOR DETRACTOR: I don’t think we would have booked if we knew half way through our trip we were going to be told we had to move our van all the way across the property (across the canal) and deal with paving that started at 6 am. It was loud enough to rattle windows. It was also not fun or convenient to carry our 4 year old and whatever other luggage that distance. Not cool. I was told “it wasn’t there fault” but it def wasn’t ours.

Good place to stay if you want to be away from but accessible to the Bourbon St action. Furnishings are a bit worn. Be sure to visit Pontilly Coffee House nearby.

We loved being by the boats. We also enjoyed the restaurant, bar, pool and hot tub. It was interesting, relaxing and affordable.
We were there during severe weather and there was no safe place to go, but that might just be all of New Orleans. The units have some water damage and drainage issues, but it didn't ruin our stay.
Our downstairs neighbor was angry with us whenever we went out on the deck because he said he could hear every word we spoke and our every footstep, so that was a bummer. He also wouldn't turn on his porch light so the stairs up to our unit weren't illuminated at night, which felt a bit scary. I hope he never comes back. He clearly hated his stay.
The sleeping loft is just carpet over wood. I wish that I had understood that so that I would have brought air mattresses for both of the girls. I only brought one (in case the loft wasn't big enough for them to share) so one of the girls ended up sleeping on the couch. There weren't any blankets or pillows for the sleeping loft when we arrived but housekeeping supplied them promptly.
