Nestled in Nanaimo, this charming house for $98 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. This is a cozy one-bedroom suite with private entrance with a queen size comfortable bed with walk-in closet and full bathroom. Located in a safe quiet residential area which is central to all Nanaimo has to offer. Kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. The suite is on the lower level of tge house and has limited views of the valley and distant ocean views. It offers beautiful sunsets which allows for peace and tranquility. Occasionally the deer will stroll by, we have a few Stags (male deer) in the area. No worries they are on the other side of the gated and fenced yard and do not have access to the private area. The beach and seashore is five minutes away, within walking distance or if you prefer to drive. Make your reservation and enjoy the best that Nanaimo has to offer by staying in a central, easily accessible, yet private location. Note: there are 30 steps to take down to the suite. There is a railing for safety.

Overall an enjoyable stay. Very clean, quiet & well located for our needs. Not good for people with mobility issues because of stairs. Lot next door has a major construction project. We were lucky it was not active during our stay. Otherwise the noise & dust could be difficult, as the access stairs face the construction. This was not mentioned in the owner's posting. No off street parking. Ample street parking but need to park on downslope to avoid construction site. Host was friendly & available as needed.

The place was just as described! It was very well thought out as to what we would need. Everything was there. It is a new build and very well taken care of. Everything was of high quality and comfortable. The place was VERY clean. We were only able to come across on the later ferry so I informed Dean that we would be later. When we arrived, it was dark but the lights were turned on for us inside. That was very thoughtful and accommodating! Thank you!! I would recommend this place to any couple! We were very busy but wish we had more time to spend in the outdoor area. …perhaps next time will be a little more relaxed and have that extra time to hang out. Looking forward to it as we would certainly book here again!

Loved this place. Big enough to be comfortable and well laid out, even with a pretty garden space! Very clean and modern and thoughtfully equipped. Communication with the owners was great. Will definitely be my go-to place for my Nanaimo trips!

Bed is comfortable, well supplied kitchen with dishes, pots and pans, Kuerig coffee maker. Lovely patio outside with small table and chairs. Would stay here again.

We wish we would have known about the 31 steep steps on the side of the house leading down to our rental unit. The railing was not contiguous. It felt treacherous going up and down and difficult to carry groceries and suitcases.

Dean and Ramona were great hosts. The suite was just like the photos, nice and clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and it was super quiet at night. I love a relaxing bath and the tub was nice and deep, a relief after a long day at work. I stayed here for almost 3 months and would recommend for long or short stays.

Our stay was excellent. The listing said ocean view, but the ocean was blocked by trees unless you walked to the fence and looked over. That wasn't a major concern because we were hardly there during the day, but that might be important to some. There are also a lot of steps down to the door as Nanaimo is very hilly. Again, not an issue for us, but that might be a concern for older visitors. It's in a residential neighborhood which meant it was very quiet and relaxing, but you'll need to drive to stores and restaurants, if that's important to you. Again, it wasn't a concern for us. The accommodation was very roomy, extremely clean, quiet, and new. All of the appliances you would need were there including laundry. The couch even had USB ports and electrical outlets. Wifi was provided, as was digital cable TV with DVR. The shower was wonderful because of a rainfall shower head. The bed very comfortable and there was no noise from the main floor above, so we slept like babies. It's technically a basement but because of the hill it was a walkout suite and you felt like you were on the main level. Our hosts were extremely responsive by text. If you're looking for a clean, quiet spot away from major streets, you won't find a nicer place than this. It was perfect for us. We would definitely stay here again.
