About this bed and breakfast

Situated in Little Rock, this charming bed and breakfast for $116 per night is a great choice for your next trip. We accept pets, however we do have a 2 dog maximum and a $20 per night fee - also, please be mindful that we have a strict NO-Smoking policy that applies to the entire property. An additional $500 fee will be applied if evidence of smoking is found. Now for the space - we’re located in the SoMa district of downtown Little Rock. This original carriage house sits behind it's main house, both built in 1904. You gain access from the alley through a walk gate with a combination lock. On the day of your arrival Doug will send you the code to the gate and the Carriage House door. The entire property has been renovated and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Located in a residential neighborhood and an easy walk to bars, restaurants, museum, and shopping. For those with dogs(no cats), there is a dog and people park a few blocks away. Please message me if your traveling with pets. We have a two dog maximum with a $20 per night fee.

Space: Super clean. Functionally stocked kitchen. Tasteful lighting. Thoughtful, simple decor. No "live, laugh, love" or other motivational garbage √. Great local touches on the drink coasters! Interesting books. Location: Perfect. Easy parking and close to downtown LR, the Arkansas MFA, Military Museum & SOMA restaurants/watering holes. Quiet neighborhood, but just 30-secs from the interstate. Will stay again in a heartbeat.

Doug was an excellent host . The carriage house was spotless and everything was provided to make our stay comfortable . Our dog loved the fenced in backyard . We wished that we could have stayed and explored more but was stopping to rest before we continued our journey . Thank you for the snacks . Loved reading about the history of your home

Two blocks from the SOMA district of Little Rock where you can find cute shops and great food. Doug was an excellent and accommodating host and the carriage house was a cute, comfy, and clean place to land after exploring. Great little fenced and secured yard for hanging out or for a furry friend, too!

The area is very quiet lots of beautiful historic homes and close to all of the taurus landmarks you'd like to see in the little rock area and great SOMA community in walking distance. The carriage house is beautifully decorated with all the amenities and very comfortable.

Our stay in Little Rock was so nice! It was the perfect weekend stay on our way back to Texas. The cottage was clean and comfortable and close to many cute areas to explore. We felt right at home and will for sure be back!

The check in process was easy. The yard was fully fenced and properly maintained. The house was clean with lots of nice little gestures like snacks and coffee. The house looks small from the outside but the inside feels much bigger. Everything is new and in great order. I will definitely be staying here again!

What a perfect place to stay in Little Rock. I was there for a long weekend with my little dog Millie and I just can’t say enough good about the property as well as the owner. I stay in a lot of VRBO‘s and this was one of the best.

This was such a charming and comfortable place! I stayed with my Chihuahua after a long 900 mile drive and it was so perfect. There is the cutest little privacy fenced yard with a serene fountain for her and the place itself is so cozy and comfortable with every detail thought out. I wish I could have stayed longer!

Wonderful property in a very conveniently located neighborhood. Enjoyed walking to South Main businesses and a few minutes by car to Clinton Library and other Riverfront spots. Clean and well maintained. Loved the entire 5 night stay.

Doug went above and beyond to help me out because of late train times. Communication was easy and very professional. Blocks away from one of the busiest entertainment areas in the city, the price can’t be beat! You will not be disappointed!

Working with Doug was great! Simple check-in process, property showed great attention to detail in the residence. Provided snacks, coffee available, wonderful bathroom, paper towels in the kitchen ... very comfortable! Had a small, well-maintained yard that was perfect for our dog. Doug has a gorgeous place in our favorite neighborhood in Little Rock. The place is incredibly clean and beautifully appointed. He has thought of everything in terms of your needs for your stay. We were glad to be able to rebook another day here to extend our visit.

We enjoyed the Carriage House for one night, but my son wanted to stay longer. I appreciate Doug and his quick response time. He answered all of my questions regarding the weather as I am very anxiety ridden when it comes to storms. He allowed us to check in early, and even helped me change my trip date! Once at the Carriage House he helped me with dinner recommendations (Rock-N-Roll Sushi) and let me know my son and I would be safe to walk before dark. I wasn’t the easiest to work with this go round, but he met me with kindness and grace. We highly appreciated the snacks, coffee bar, extra blankets for lounging, and attention to detail. Thank you for taking great care of us and making us feel safe.

The Carriage House was nothing but remarkable! I was traveling with my cousin and husky (Nala) and had to make a overnight stay in Little Rock. The Carriage House was very pet friendly and clean! 10/10 Stay! Devil is in the detail! Within walking distance to The Root Cafe, which was very tasteful! 😋

Doug has a wonderful place and even though is pet friendly it doesn't look or smell like a pet home. Clean and fresh to my wife's specs and they are high! The yard is small but unlike many places basically escape proof. I had no doubts leaving my Schutzhund 3 German Shepherd loose unsupervised. The neighborhood is safe, friendly and really neat. Never knew there were that many Victorian homes in one area. Parking was safe and house had anything you could need. Bed was one of the best I have slept on. If you have any doubts don't. Just book it!!

Doug is the best host! The Carriage house is perfect. It’s clean. It’s so cute. The bed is comfortable and so is the couch. It was everything we wanted & needed for our whirlwind trip to Arkansas. We stayed at the Carriage house because it was so nice and much better than staying at a hotel. It’s also a great location to downtown Little Rock and all it has to offer. Thank you Doug!
