Cute place with several interesting architectural and decorating details. The inside is bigger than it appears from the outside. Very clean and the mattress and bedding in the one bedroom we used was comfortable. Did not cook during our stay so cannot address the kitchen aspects.

Perfect little quaint bungalow in historic Decatur right across the street from Delano Park, which is must see. Communication with Ashton was quick and helpful.

The Blue Bungalow was a perfect location for getting around Decatur, wandering through old Decatur, and enjoying Delano Park. The home was clean, well-equipped, quiet, and spacious. The owner really thought it out before listing it. It is tastefully decorated, but the best thing was the number of electrical outlets and all the plugs with USB. Peets coffee was provided as well as snacks and water. If you are going to Decatur and don't want to stay in a modern hotel, this house has charm and appeal. It is close to the Cook's Museum and all the nightlife on 2nd Avenue. We will be returning to Decatur and will not hesitate to book The Blue Bungalow again.

The property clean and perfect for our needs. The close proximity to the splash pad and playground was a great perk for us and our kids! Communication with the property owner was very good through the whole process of our stay! I recommend staying here if you’re ever in Decatur!

I really don’t like the noise or cleanliness of most hotels, and prefer the homey feeling and space of a rental while we’re away. This was perfect. Adorable little park across the street. Ample sleeping room for all, loved being able to use the kitchen, eat in the dining room, relax in the living room at the end of the day. Quiet neighborhood. Close and easy to get to food and shopping. Great choice for our time in Decatur.

Perfect location to Hwy31/6th Ave. Blue Bungalow is across from Beautiful Delano Park= Walker& Jogger Heaven. The house is beautifully decorated, snacks & bottled water supplied, the house is in Historic area. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking. Hostess was very accommodating to me. I would stay here over & over! I’m from Houston Texas & was visiting family.

This property is located in a row of homes in a pleasant area across from a green space (park) with larger historic homes on the other side of the park. Yet, in quick order you can get on a main road with lots of restaurants, drugstores, gas stations, etc.
Property felt bigger inside than the outside picture may indicate. There was plenty of room with 3 bedrooms, one and a half baths, both a living & dining room, spacious kitchen, and a utility room. It has a couple of pleasant surprises like a large walk-in closet with plenty of shelves, hooks, and poles to keep clothes and other items stored. It also has an easy to use security system and a screened in porch.
Two of the bedrooms are on either side of the full bath, but the bedroom with the king-sized mattress is a little distance from it, if that is a consideration for you.
We enjoyed our stay here and would rent it again, if in that area.

We absolutely would recommend this amazing home. So well decorated and very clean inside. Great location and close to everything. It had everything we needed. I would definitely stay here again when we go back to Alabama. We felt the owners did think of everything to make our stay top notch. 🇨🇦

The property was a joy to stay in! Everything you would look for in a VRBO!
Great park right in front, with tennis courts, and walking paths
My only concern was the deposit, it’s been a week and I still have not received it back

Being next to a park made stay a very
quiet place, the only thing we could hear at night was a train whistle in the distance.
Cook museum was outstanding even if you
don’t have children. The Railyard is an excellent restaurant.

The bungalow was the perfect place for my girls and I to stay at during my wedding weekend. The location was great and not to far from my wedding venue in Priceville. The home was very cozy! The host had great communication and responded quickly when needed.

This was a wonderful place to stay me and a friend were visiting friends in town this afforded us privacy as well as a space to entertain. The side porch was our favorite for sitting drinking coffee and just vistiting. Anywhere you could possibly need to go shopping wise is within a reasonable distance. The park across the street is wonderful. For the fact that is in a central part of town it was relatively quiet.

This property was gorgeous and clean. It is located across from a park and conveniently located close to shops and restaurants. The decor was chic and also modern with a homey bungalow feel. The wifi, cookware, cutlery, and washer/dryer was great to have as needed. There's a shaded back yard and screened patio area too. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay or to hold a small event. Owner was excellent in communicating information and rules.

It was as expected based on the photos and reviews. It is an older house with lovely details and high ceilings. We stayed with my parents and there was plenty of room for the four of us. The beds were comfy. The king was more firm; the way my husband likes and the bed in the back was softer. I think the one in the middle was more firm to medium and my parents were comfortable. So no matter what you like you should be happy with one of the beds.
My dad appreciated the snacks. He thought that was a neat touch.
My mom and I walked around the park. There are shops and restaurants within walking distance. That was nice. Definitely a change from when we stayed with our family and everything was a 20 minute drive.
We have a lot of family in the more rural area of Decatur. We made sure to tell them about this place in case they have other family looking for a place to stay when they visit. We hope to borrow the lovely house again sometime when we go back.

Charming Home in Historic District
We really enjoyed staying at this charming home in the historic Albany District in Decatur, Alabama. High ceilings, with original trim and features all added to our holiday get away.
This home is located right by well kept walking trails and a park. My husband walked daily, early in the morning, and we took family walks in the evening where we were able to enjoy the other historic homes in the district, all decorated for the holiday season---Beautiful!
This home is located close to downtown Decatur, close to restaurants and stores. Beds were very comfortable, and the host had the house decorated with a Christmas tree and evergreens on the fireplace mantel. They also provided free access to a washer and drier, and had a basket of snacks on the counter to us to enjoy.
We would definitely stay here again, and would like to bring my sister back who loves old historic homes. She would never leave.
Thank you again to our host and hostess for making our visit so enjoyable.
