Cute place with several interesting architectural and decorating details. The inside is bigger than it appears from the outside. Very clean and the mattress and bedding in the one bedroom we used was comfortable. Did not cook during our stay so cannot address the kitchen aspects.

The Blue Bungalow was a perfect location for getting around Decatur, wandering through old Decatur, and enjoying Delano Park. The home was clean, well-equipped, quiet, and spacious. The owner really thought it out before listing it. It is tastefully decorated, but the best thing was the number of electrical outlets and all the plugs with USB. Peets coffee was provided as well as snacks and water. If you are going to Decatur and don't want to stay in a modern hotel, this house has charm and appeal. It is close to the Cook's Museum and all the nightlife on 2nd Avenue. We will be returning to Decatur and will not hesitate to book The Blue Bungalow again.

I really don’t like the noise or cleanliness of most hotels, and prefer the homey feeling and space of a rental while we’re away. This was perfect. Adorable little park across the street. Ample sleeping room for all, loved being able to use the kitchen, eat in the dining room, relax in the living room at the end of the day. Quiet neighborhood. Close and easy to get to food and shopping. Great choice for our time in Decatur.
