Go for refreshing dips in the indoor or outdoor heated pools or take a soothing soak in one of the hot tubs. The fitness center is there for all your workout needs while the sauna is ready for your weary muscles afterward. Ping-pong is also available for table tennis enthusiasts, so you'll always have something fun to do! After exciting days on the slopes, return to your spacious, airy vacation home. The vast living room with sweeping views is the perfect place to lounge. Start the fireplace for a warm, cozy ambience as you watch your favorite shows on the TV. If you'd prefer to feel the crisp Vermont air on your face, step out onto the balcony. This condo does not have air conditioning. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. Spacious, well-kept condo at Solitude Village. Our family has skied Okemo for 25 years so we are familiar with mountain and Ludlow, however we have never rented at Solitude. I would have appreciated some instructions at condo regarding how to access lifts and recreation center. We were looking forward to using the pool, hot tub and sauna after skiing but the owner did not leave passes. I contacted VRBO guest services who gave me recreation center contact at Jackson Gore and who said we could come there as a courtesy but we ended up not going because of the delay and inconvenience.

Overall a great stay! Like other renters, we had trouble with the door code initially but they corrected it within a few minutes. We also couldn't access the pool immediately, but someone came by with a new keycard that evening, which we really appreciated. The space was wonderful for our family and we had a great time.

We loved the property and location. Unfortunately, the code/lock on the door didn’t work when we got there. We called, were given another code that still didn’t work. We had to wait for someone to come let us in. That person told us this “happens often.”

The condo itself is as advertised and generally met all of our needs. However, the Vacasa checking in process was very poor. We arrived at 3:30PM and found the code didn't work, so I figured that I had to wait until the check-in time of 4:00. At 4:00, the code still did not work. Called Vacasa and was provided an alternate Code which still did not work. Called Vacasa again and was told there is a key box near the front door. Searched, but no key box to be found. Called Vacasa again and was told that their is a key box in a plaza in town, so down the mountain we drove and eventually found the key box. However, the keys are coded to correspond to a particular unit, but the code was not available. Called Vacasa again and were told the "code", but alas, no key to be found. So called Vacasa again that they indicated a in-town manager would stop by and drop off a key. Waited more than 30 mintues, still no manager arrived. After 40 minutes, manager arrived and took another 10 minutes to find a key, which he finally did. He also volunteered to follow us back up the mountain (about a 10 minute drive) and make sure we made it in. The key worked, but none of the Codes provided by Vacasa worked. So, the manager replaced the batteries in the dead-bolt lock and we tried the codes again...still did not work. So the local manager reprogrammed a code that worked for the remainder of our stay. Bottom line, took almost 2 hours to check in AND we missed our dinner reservation, coupled with a lot of aggravation.

I wish they would break the review down by category like most places but unfortunately they dont. We absolutely love the condo and love the location. This negative review only has to do with Vacasa and their terrible communication, accommodation, customer service, and just overall negative experience. I got an email at 8:08 in the morning the day of our check in stating the room would be ready to check in at 4pm which we were totally aware of and fine with. At 11:20 we got another text message with the code to the condo and a reminder that we could check in at 4pm. We left our home and traveled 4 plus hours to the rental condo and when we were one hour and 20 minutes away from our arrival we got a voicemail stating the condo would not be ready until 5. It wasnt until 5:09 until we could check in as the nice cleaning person vacated the condo. I didnt mind that there was a delay but they never should have texted and emailed us the morning of that it would be ready at 4. I also think its extremely poor customer service to call someone with less than 90 minutes before check in that things are going to be delayed. We had small children and had been traveling for quite some time. ON top of it all, the customer service agent put me on hold for 22 minutes and the manager, Shanequa was extremely unprofessional and lied on the phone. i was in the state of VT and she said the delay was due to the weather. It was not snowing or raining and was 40 degrees. (i was there the previous week with 30 inches of snow and vacasa cleaning was promptly there at 9:45 am ready to kick us out so they could clean) Again, I would appreciate the company to do something for you when you spend almost $6,000 on a long weekend.... I own a few properties and will never use vacasa for their services nor will I ever recommend them to friends and family. We have spent thousands over the past 3 years with them and they don't care about their valued and repeat customers.

The house is very nice and was large enough for 10 adults to be very comfortable with plenty of privacy. It had very nice bedding and comfortable furniture and a great mud room to keep all of the skiing at the front door. Our only issue was the washing machine did not work. In any event the accommodations were wonderful and it truly is ski in ski out allowing for us to have freedom for all levels of skier to do what they want. I will be back. The place is really nice and a spot where you can see the sunrise and have your fill of the beauty vermont and okemo have to offer.
