About this cabin rental
Situated in Torrey, this lovely cabin for $273 per night is a great option for your next break. Come visit this cute small town we call home. We are located in the heart of Torrey, located a block away from the Chuckwagon General Store as well as shopping at the locally family owned Torrey Trading Post. Our cabin “The Roost” is a two bedroom one bathroom, full kitchen fully furnished piece of heaven. It currently sleeps up to four guest. Come sit back and relax on one of the two patios on site with beautiful views of Boulder and Cockscomb. We are a five minute drive away from the Velvets as well as a 10 minute drive from Capitol Reef National Park. If you’re interest include hiking, fishing, four wheeling side-by-side riding or just relaxing and enjoying the scenery there are many places such as Cathedral Valley, Hickman Bridge, Burr Trail, and Fish Lake.

The guest house is beautiful. Everything is new and very clean. It was quiet and the process was easy. Just one note is that I found the bar stools a little difficult and not as stable as I would prefer. But that is so minor. I would do this again and again. Also note that if you rent in the off season there are few dining options nearby so bring some groceries. The kitchen is well equipped and it was nice for us to eat in. Thanks for the great holiday stay.

Wow… our stay at Nichole’s casita was peaceful , and beautifully decorated for the Capital Reef Nat’l Park area.
The front and back porches were relaxing with amazing views, and star gazing.
The interior decor was wonderful quality from the kitchen items to bedroom touches.
Highly recommend !!!!

The owner was great from start to finish. We had two small children with us, and she let us know about their dog on the property before we arrived. The dog by the way, is super friendly and mellow. No issues at all. The property is beautiful and worked perfectly for our needs. Very clean and comfortable. The sunsets on the back patio were incredible as well. We would definitely stay again.

Lovely well equipped Casita on private property. Very quiet, very convenient to Capital Reef and other hiking opportunities which was our reason for selecting it. It also was within walking distance of the general store, an ice cream shop, and a burger shop. Multi-day renters should be aware it does not have a washer or dryer and Goole did not indicate any nearby laundromat. However, hand wash dries quickly in the low humidity. Check-in was via code to unlock the door. There was plenty of outside space to enjoy if you don't mind wind, which was always blowing while we were there in late October. Nicole responded quickly to any questions I had.

Cute, clean, comfortable, well equipped, well situated, quiet, and private. Nichole is friendly and welcoming.
My husband and I spent five nights here while we explored Capitol Reef and the Fish Lake area. We got supplies and “build your own” sandwiches to go at the Chuck Wagon one block away every morning. They also have a convenient laundromat. The duck dinner at Hunt and Gather was so good we went back twice. A stop at the Trading Post is also a must.

Beautiful newer home in a wonderful location. The inside is very nicely decorated and everything has been well thought-out. New appliances and all utensils are provided, plus extras of many necessary items. Just a brief walk to the Chuckwagon general store and deli.
Forever views from the back porch that provide excellent star-gazing late at night. Very quiet, peaceful retreat for relaxing after hiking the park during the day.

Loved the cabin! Immaculate with touches of home. Quiet and within walking distance to convenience items if needed. Ate at a great restaurant nearby “Hunter and Gather”. Definitely will return if in this area again.

While on a 3 week Southwest road trip to see the National Parks, we reserved Nichole's casita for a 2 night stay. Beautifully decorated, clean, well-equipped, comfortable and quiet. Of all the VRBO's we have stayed in, this was by far the best. Nichole is very friendly and accommodating. Loved our stay.

We absolutely loved staying here! The home was the perfect size for us, beautifully decorated, SPOTLESS, and completely QUIET. We thought we were the only people around most of the time…and we really appreciated that. We hope to be back to the Capitol Reef area in a few years, and if we don’t already have our camper…we’ll be booking here again without hesitation! Thank you for making our stay better than perfect! If you’re looking for a perfect place to stay during your travels, look no further! The photos just don’t do it justice…new, clean, tastefully decorated, and you feel like home the moment you open the door. My husband loved the Bluetooth speaker in the bathroom!
Communication was excellent, and the home is in a great location near town. if you’re considering this lovely property, look no further. Just book it!

Spacious and contemporary kitchen with a gorgeous view of the mountain. I wish there was a small dining table. The bar counter is really tall. BUT It was the nicest accommodation of our trip.

A beautifully designed and tastefully decorated 2 bedroom cottage with a gorgeous view! Conveniently located to Capitol Reef National Park. This high end cottage had wonderful amenities including a variety of teas and a well stocked organized kitchen. The 2 cozy king size beds were perfect after great hiking in the park. I would absolutely stay here again if I get back to this area!

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay at this cabin! It was very clean and comfortable. We had plenty of room for our family of 4 for not much more cost than a hotel room. We would definitely stay here again!

We stayed for two nights in April and throughly enjoyed our stay. The house was perfect, clean, beautifully decorated. The beds were comfortable. Host was great and provided all we needed. Beautiful sunsets right out the back door with gorgeous views. There is a well stocked general store right up the street and good places to eat. Close to Capitol Reef NP. If we ever come back this is where we will stay!

This is a great spot. The house is very new, well appointed and comfortable. Very quiet and in a great spot. We were there one night and did not match up with Nichole in person, but she texted ahead to us to ensure we received the entry code and if we were late arriving that the place would be warm and inviting. This is a wonderful spot for visiting the Capitol Reef NP and the scenic area of southern and middle Utah. Fairly priced and accommodating. We would definitely stay there again.

My family had a wonderful 6 night stay at this guest house. It is conveniently located close to Capitol Reef. The beds and bedrooms were super comfortable. Nichole was a thoughtful and accommodating host. Lots of nice touches around the guest house. It was too cold to sit outside during our stay, but it would have been beautiful to hang out outside and take in the views in warmer weather. We would stay here again!

This casita was the perfect location to stay while we visited Capitol Reef. The house has charming decor, the beds were comfortable, and the host provided many extras, such as spices, tea, and coffee. The house is on the edge town, with great views of the Utah landscape. We loved our stay in the casita.

This house is exceptionally clean with amazing views from all directions! The host was fantastic with communication as well. A great spot for either the Grand Staircase area or Capitol Reef. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

This property was the best vacation rental I have ever stayed in. I truly felt as I was staying in someone’s home as everything was so clean and in such good condition. This was a great property for us to stay at as a family of 4, with 2 bedrooms each with a king bed. The beds were comfortable, the carpet was clean and soft, and the place was not beat up from renters- I truly loved it! We stayed here on a road trip visiting all the Utah national parks, as this was about 10 min from Capital Reef NP- convenient location. Not much in the small town as far as I could tell, but we had everything we needed with us (food, etc.). Thank you so much for the comfortable stay!

Adorable cabin with every amenity you would ever need. We only stayed one night as a stop before going to Capital Reef National Park, wish we had stayed longer. Walking distance to town where we had the best burgers at a food truck called Capital Burger. After dinner we were able to sit out back and enjoy the views until sunset. Highly recommend!

This was our first trip to Torrey and we stayed for location to Capitol Reef. It is just perfect and such a beautiful cozy home. Well stocked and very clean. Owners are very helpful and communication is great. You’d be hard pressed to find a better place to stay in Torrey.

4 of us were delighted with this cottage. So much more roomy than it appeared from the outside. Walking distance to coffee shop and the food truck with the best burgers around. Perfect setting for star gazing and for accessing Capitol Reef.

Someone might think Nichole paid me to write this: She didn’t! Our stay was wonderful: comfy beds, very clean house, and wonderful view of the sky. Nichole is a considerate host—she left lights on for our late arrival the first night, and combination for lock made entry easy. We’d hoped to see the stars in the Dark Sky, but our timing was poor. The full moon brightened the night sky so we couldn’t see as much as we’d hoped. However, we were so impressed with the quiet! What a treat.
There wasn’t anything we needed in this lovely year-old house. Nichole anticipated everything but our food. And there are plenty of eating establishments nearby. Capitol Reef is a short drive down the highway, so it was a perfect location for our visit to the park. We’d go to this casita again!

House/Casita is on grounds of main house, but owners were extremely respectful of our privacy. Front and back porches were so comfortable for two couples. Inside of casita was brand new and beautiful. All supples were perfect and we had everything we needed to cook at home for the two days. Great location to get to park visitor center and to walk to general store in Torrey.(where you can get anything you need, including great t-shirts!!) Beds were comfortable and shower was amazing. great soaps and towels also. Best stay we could have asked for!
