Located on a quiet, private road, this cozy bungalow resides on the favorable east side of Canandaigua Lake not far from many local and tourist hot spots. Unloading the car is easy with parking a few short steps from the doorway. Inside, the three-season room greets you. Escape to this comfortable area to read a great book or take a nap while on vacation. Continuing inside, the kitchen, dining and living room areas share an open space. The open floor plan allows your group of travelers to mix and mingle freely while enjoying the panoramic lake views. Rain or shine, the views from the wall-to-wall windows and doors allow you to enjoy lake life while being in the comfort of your vacation home. The kitchen with white cupboards and dark granite countertops has an oversized kitchen island and upscale appliances. Guests will have plenty of space for preparing and serving meals. The dining table is situated just in from the sliding glass doors leading the way to the lake. The living room offers quality, comfortable furniture and a decorative fireplace. Very pleasant stay, nice accomodations. Kitchen, living space very comfortable. Some suggestions: 1) 2nd bedroom/bath needs more attention. BR needs hooks, very little counterspace for toiletries. Night light needed. 2) Bedroom: no counter space, some in closet but held a lot of board games 2) double outlet installed above heater, lamp cord was touching baseboard heater, cord was hot. This is a fire hazard. I draped the cord over a nearby trash can to avoid contact. In sum, the second bedroom/bath was a bit of an afterthought. Thank you.

We had an amazing week here. The house, property and sunsets were perfect. The house is a great size for 4-6 people, easy to keep organized and clean and steps away from the water. The area was quiet. We will rent next year!

We had a wonderful stay here! The view is spectacular and worth every penny. We slept 4 adults and it was very comfortable. There is a pullout couch and futon for additional sleeping but can’t speak to how comfortable they are. The kitchen had most anything we needed as far as utensils and cookware went. We had a 3 year old child who visited for the day and I could say the location would not be great for a child any younger. There was a drop off, stairs down to the lake, and not a large area to walk into the water. The lake is very rocky so highly recommend water shoes. Hopefully these are helpful notes - we loved our time here and would stay again.

The cottage was so peaceful & comfortable that we never even ate out at night. Enjoyed grilling & relaxing time. Would definitely recommend Sunset Sanctuary!

Cottage is located perfectly for trips into Canandaigua and winery touring. Deck and dock were perfect for coffee on the cool mornings. Clean well appointed and comfortable. Check in and check out was a breeze.

This house is the perfect getaway for a relaxing weekend. The inside was very cozy and the yard was the best part. It had a nice hot tub over looking the water. Nice area to eat breakfast outdoors and take in the views. House was also close to town. I would definitely rent again if in the area.

This small cottage overlooks the water from the living room and the dining room. The views of the lake are beautiful. The furniture and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked. It was the perfect place for a long weekend. Our only issue with the house was the internet and TV. Neither were working when we arrived. It took several phone calls to the management company to get the situation resolved and that is the reason for the 4 stars. Otherwise I would have given them 5 stars. That said, we would rent this listing again. The location was perfect.
