The view of the lake from the house was beautiful. The home was charming. The owners were quick to reply during the booking process. General upkeep is necessary at the home. The downstairs bathroom pedestal sink is completely falling off the wall requires immediate repair as It could fall onto a small person or child, the shower head in the same bathroom shoots water upward, the upstairs shower did not drain very well, the kitchen sink drawers which held sponges were very, very soiled, dishes in the kitchen cabinets such as a mixing bowl, had dried food in the bowl, the stairs leading to the MBR had significant dirt/black hair on each side. The master bedroom had a beautiful view of the lake. The MBR did not have a dresser or closet. A small dresser would be a nice addition as we stayed 7 nights and prefer not to live out of a suitcase. The hot tub was very nice and worked without issue. The sliding doors are very hard to open possibly due to facing the lake. A few stairs leading to the lake were very wobbly and felt like they may collapse especially on the right side. There is a white chair in the LR covered with dirt or makeup at the top of the chair which a blanket tried to obscure, remotes in the LR did not work, we replaced the batteries. The TV remotes in the Q room did not have batteries. It’s always nice to be able to wash laundry before heading home. The washer and dryer unit are very old. The washer had white tape around the inside lid which was odd. The dryer required a minimum of 3 cycles to dry clothes and towels. If a cleaning company is used, there needs to be a conversation with them as many of above concerns could easily be rectified. The most disturbing issue that occurred were the instructions given the day of check in regarding the next-door neighbor. As it turned out, the next-door neighbor continuously stared out their kitchen window, which overlooked the rental home and yard. It was very unsettling to have someone constantly looking at us as we came and went from the house. This information should be disclosed in the listing in a proper way to let folks know that this will occur. The host did check on us during our stay. We did not reach out to them regarding above, as we did not want our stay interrupted for all of these different things to be rectified as it would interrupt our vacation. The home will be perfect with some simple maintenance and a deep clean.

Property was exactly as described with great amenities. Hosts were wonderful and very responsive. Highly recommended from me and I actually live on this lake!

Lovely property. Exquisitely attentive hosts, which helped make up for some initial cleanliness issues which were promptly addressed. Very relaxing to sit on the dock and enjoy the sun. Enjoyed the hot tub and star gazing at night. And had fires almost every night in the fireplace.

The host were absolutely wonderful and always answered the phone when I called. The house was everything described and more.

Water pressure had issues No trash service and the places that we had to haul the trash was closed until 1…our check out was 10….couldn’t wait 3 hours….they all open at 1… Other than that it was great!

The house is beautiful, clean, updated, and while ideal for our group of 3, could comfortably have more people, especially a family. The property is quiet and remote but still close to grocery stores and other resources you might need. We had a lovely time playing with our dog, grilling on the deck, chatting in the hot tub, watching movies on the flat screen, and relaxing on the dock. For those who might not be accustomed to the area, the water is darker than you would expect, but very pleasant (especially if you take the boat on the water). We had a truly lovely time, and Sam and Carissa were lovely hosts - making sure we had all necessary information ahead of time, prompt for answering questions, and even checked-in to make sure we got settled. Would 100% recommend for anyone looking to have a relaxing stay in Georgia!!!
