It's 1 mile from the Yellowstone River and a 20 min drive to Chico Hot Springs and YNP. Bridger Bowl is just 30 min away! This space was designed with presence in mind as a means to bring families and friends together to connect. Put the phones away and come play! ❤️ The space Your RETREAT awaits! H Street Retreat is a place for writers to unblock, musicians to find lyrical creativity and friends and families to find meaningful connection. This home wreaks of western charm. It was built in the 1900’s with most of the original hard wood flooring still intact. The details still shine through in the banisters, the cabinets and subtleties throughout. The bedrooms are located on the second floor. (Please watch your head as you navigate the stairs, the roof slopes slightly in this old bungalow) Each room has own its own unique style. A Bose speaker is ready for pairing :) Enjoy breakfast in the mornings at the high top table in the kitchen in a cozy leather chair. There is a commercial grade washer and Dryer to help dry out your ski or fishing gear. The bathroom was just completely remodeled and offers a beautiful tub/ shower combo and radiant heated flooring. There is a covered porch lined with Edison bulb string lights and Adirondack chairs. Unwind on the back porch with the sights of one of the most picturesque old buildings in Livingston. **The Heater is a Rinnai and is controlled by manually adjusting the temperature upon arrival. It heats up in a flash and keeps the house really comfortable! ** Pets are negotiable. Lets discuss whether your dog will be the right fit for my home. We absolutely loved our stay. The house, modern touches, finishes and decor were wonderful, and back yard was a nice bonus. We love Livingston, and will definitely be back!

Erin was very responsive and quick with her responses. We were unable to arrive on initial first day due to travel circumstances beyond our control and we asked if we could check out a day later (after I checked booking calendar to see if it was booked or availability) and it was no problem at all. The house was everything that is presented on the listing, pictures are very accurate and the home was very clean. I was traveling with my adult son, who was born in Livingston and my little French Bulldog who loved exploring the fenced backyard. I lived in Livingston in the 1970’s and was there for a visit and it was like returning home. Will definitely stay again, if possible, in the future.

The pictures of the house are exactly what the house looks like. However, the front makes the house look really small, but when you step inside it is pretty roomy. It is located in the center of town and was really easy to find. It was really nice to have such a roomy kitchen stocked with everything you could need. The bathroom was of good size and has been beautifully updated... which is very important to 3 women and 1 child. The upstairs bedrooms were surprisingly roomy as well, and very comfortable although some closet areas were unfinished. We were visiting family in the area and the house served as a nice place to set off for adventures or to meet up with family. There were only a few things that people should know before booking. One is that the stairs are old and very narrow. Some people could have some difficulty navigating the stairs safely. Summers in Livingston are very warm and the house has one air conditioner and one fan in the upstairs area. We had nice summer days which proved to be a bit difficult in keeping the house cool. There were some areas of the floor that were uneven and unmarked and we all spent turns tripping or losing our balance, although nobody fell. The couch turned into a bed in the living room and was a great way to utilize space, unfortunately it didn't have a lot of cushioning and you could too easily feel the bones of the couch. The back yard septic tank could use a safer cover, however it was nice having the backyard patio to have a seat and cool off in the evenings. We couldn't find the garbage cans even with the house instructions, and we felt bad leaving bagged garbage in the house. Wifi password is all lower case which isn't a big deal, it just took a little time to figure it out. The house is a great place for young adults to gather for adventure and really does have the perfect size & layout for a vacation rental.

H House stay.

Erin was a great host, very quick response to communication. Everything was just as described. Cool old house with lots of funny personality. Only thing for me was, the bedrooms are upstairs and the bathroom is downstairs, but overall, fun and relaxing.

H Street Retreat can’t be beat!
We had a wonderful time staying at Erin’s cozy house with our dogs for a week. It felt like a home away from home with all the thoughtful and personal touches. The location is great and our pups enjoyed the fenced in yard. We would stay again in the future!
