About this house rental
'Too Qute! Beach Cottage' is the quintessential beach cottage! 'Too Qute! Beach Cottage' accommodates up to ELEVEN (11) family members maximum in four bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. Please note that we rent to mature, respectful and responsible families only. If you are looking to rent a home to host a party, stay up late and disturb our neighbors, please continue your search as this is not the place for you. If you are a quiet family or group of friends that will treat our home, the contents and our neighbors with respect, please let us know that in your inquiry and we will gladly welcome you to stay as our guests. Thanks in advance for your understanding and cooperation. As you can see in the floor plans on the Photos page of this listing, there are two bedrooms located on the first floor. One first floor bedroom has a queen bed and the other first floor bedroom has a full bed with a twin bunk bed above. There are also two bedrooms on the second floor. One second floor bedroom has a full bed. The other second floor bedroom, which we call the Master Bedroom, has a queen bed with a twin day bed and pull out twin trundle bed beneath. The Master Bedroom has views of Lake Michigan and the North Beach. There is an outdoor front patio, a front screened in porch as well as a spacious rear deck and patio area. There is a Weber propane gas grille on the back patio. There are also partial lake views from the back deck. The cottage is cute and quaint. It reminds us when we were young and our parents rented a cottage in the neighborhood back in the late 1960's and early 1970's. There is still some of the original beaded board wall and ceiling panelling. The cottage and contents have a lot of quirky charm and character that you can not find in today's new construction beach homes. We feel that it is the quaint, and somewhat modest interior decor that makes our cottage 'Too Qute'! We hope you agree. Due to a change in the law this year there is no longer parking available on Avery street unless you have the 3 year parking sticker. There is on street parking on North Shore Drive just a short walk from the cottage. Parking permits can be purchased at South Haven City Hall and the South Haven Police Station. Check in is after 4:00PM Eastern. Check out is before 10:00AM Eastern. Please take a moment to review the always current online availability calendar to see if your desired dates are available. Nice little cottage in the heart of north beach. This property is great for two families. The furniture is a bit tired and overall the cottage could use some updating. However, if location is your priority and modern amenities are not a concern, then this is your place.

The property was lovely and located very close to the beach. Loaded up the wagon with all our items and kiddos and walked just a couple of minutes to a very nice beach. Ice cream right there on the beach. Coffee shop within walking distance. Beautiful neighborhood. House was clean and nicely stocked with all we needed. Kailee, our hostess, was excellent. Answered all questions promptly. She was a pleasure to work with. Would stay here again!

We loved our stay here because it was so close to the beach! I could walk out with my coffee cup in hand for a sunrise or catch a sunset even at the last minute! The cottage was roomy enough for our family group of 7 plus an infant. It definitely has the feel of an original beach cottage rather than the giant renovated beach mansions that now surround it, so it comes with its "old cottage" quirks, but we didn't mind. We used the grill almost every night and ate on the back deck with the sun umbrellas up. The bedrooms are small but we didn't spend a lot of time in them. Any questions I had were answered right away by Kailee who was very helpful. It was comfy and sweet and a perfect location to be right on North Beach--easy to make trips back and forth if we needed to. We walked to Bundes for coffee and danishes in the mornings and walked to the concession stand for Sherman's ice cream every night. Had a great week!

This our favorite stay so far in SoHa! We loved being close enough to the beach that we could walk down with a cup of coffee in the morning and let the kids swing on the playground and made sure that we watched several sunsets over the water during our week. Beds are comfy and clean, kitchen is well equipped, and plenty of eating areas for everyone to be together. Great family memories were made this week!

The property worked well for our party of 10. Location was great being a very short walk to the beach. Front porch was great to sit and drink morning coffee while watching foot traffic to the beach. Would definitely consider staying here again in the future.

Beachside Perfection
The family and I so enjoyed our stay this past week. The cottage was absolutely perfect for us. Having stayed in South Haven many times over the years, the location of this rental could not be beat. Our little ones could go to the beach whenever they wanted and ice cream and coffee were right around the corner. We really never had to drive. The cottage itself had everything we needed and fit our large group well. I also really appreciated all of the outdoor space we had to grill, make s’mores and let the little ones safely explore. We will definitely be returning!!!

Great secret place
This place was much better than expected. Large screened in porch is great for people watching. Nice private cement backyard with shower. Close to Concession stand and blue moon ice cream. Every room has air conditioning so nice and cool to sleep at own temperature. Would stay there again.

He went the extra mile to make our stay enjoyable, comfortable, and memorable. This home was very spacious, comfy, and clean. The home provides lots of special touches from a screened in porch to an on site washer and dryer to even a fire pit out back. The deck, patio and Weber grill make this outdoor space the ideal evening hang out. We appreciated the outdoor shower on the back deck to rinse off after being at the beach. Parking was never an issue for the entirety of our trip. We were always able to park right in front of the home. Others have commented about the location and this benefit can’t be emphasized enough. This home is just steps away from the beach. This was such a luxury. Our family had a wonderful trip in South Haven. We highly recommend this home! You won’t be disappointed.

Cozy, comfortable and convenient to the beach
We’ve stayed in TooQute 5 or 6 times and have thoroughly enjoyed it. It’s so close to the beach with a large private back deck.

Just what we needed.
Ten of us stayed for a week at “Too Qute.” The location can’t be beat, especially with young kids — a quick walk to and from the beach. The place was clean and tidy upon our arrival. Michael called prior to our stay to welcome us and to keep lines of communication open. He was attentive with the few issues that did arise, and they were handled quickly.

A wonderful weekend
We had stayed at “ to cute “ in August and we loved the place It’s a great home close to the beach and has everything one could need. So our wedding anniversary was coming up and we wanted to have a 4 day weekend. So we booked ‘ to cute’ and we got ready for a great weekend. I got a call the day we were to leave and was told there was a problem with the booking, but Michael came through and got us a different house to stay at ‘ the Oakland north’ Wow this place is great it a modern older house with lots of charm The kitchen is like out of a new house from the gorgeous stove and stainless fridge. It has 4 bedrooms with lots of beds. We love both homes and Michael was great though it all. We will be back next year, we just don’t know which house to pick. Both are great and so is Michael for coming thru and giving us a wonderful upgrade. Thanks

The House for Families
This property was clean and well maintained. It is an older beach cottage, so don't expect high end luxury. If you want a GREAT LOCATION, a house built for a family with plenty of room and places to gather, PLUS a great management team, this is the one for you -- - - just don't take my place on the calendar, as we will be booking there every year!

Great beach house
This is a great 4 bedroom house. It’s very close to the beach and the snack bar if you’re hungry. The house is pretty big and having 2 and 1/2 baths are nice. My son loved the outdoor shower and so did my mother in-law for cleaning the sand off her feet All the bedrooms where big and gave lots of room to move. We also loved the patio and spent many evenings there having a fire in the fire pit and cooking burgers on the grill. We plan to stay there again. Great place

Perfect Family Vacation
House was perfect for our family vacation! Plenty of room for our group of ten and location to the beach couldn’t have been better! We had a small issue with one of the upstairs air conditioner units and owner was very responsive and quickly fixed the issue.

Very Quaint , great location
This is a perfect location if you like to be close to the water. The view from the master bedroom is amazing! Plenty of open space for your friends and family to relax along with a huge deck for outdoor fun. The kitchen provided extras to use to cook. The wine refrigerator came in handy for all of our beverages. Plenty of sleeping space which made it a great choice for a girls. Weekend. Owner was very responsive.

Great place to experience relaxation with the family.
We enjoyed hosting our three kids and their spouses (and a couple grandkids) for the Labor Day weekend at the Too Qute Beach Cottage. It was perfectly situation steps away from the beach where each morning we took our grandkids to play on the beach's swings and jungle gym. We enjoyed being steps away from an ice cream trip to Sherman's to cap off the day also. We were all able to enjoy our dinner on the deck and visit while grilling with the two large table and ample chairs. In addition, we all had seating to play games inside or visit on the screened in porch. We enjoyed the leisurely strolls to experience the lovely neighborhood and all its homes. We easily walked to town through the craft festival going on, strolled through stores and got fudge, and took some family pics at the lighthouse. There were plenty of beach chairs for us all to hang together at the beach, also. The cottage was fully stocked with whatever was needed and Michael answered our questions very quickly. We were thrilled that this was a great family experience for our first time getting to go on a trip somewhere together and relax as an entire family.
Note: Only one of the two grills actually worked, and some umbrellas for late afternoon shade would have made sitting out back more enjoyable for everyone.

QUTE Review
The location is great and the home was very clean. It was nice they had 2 grills as it made it much easier to cook for a larger group. The communication was lacking as I had to call him the morning of to get check in instructions. The dishwasher didn't work which was an inconvenience. .
