Welcome to POINT BREAK, a 4BR/4.5BA three-story, townhome villa that overlooks the Atlantic Ocean. The property is part of the OCEAN WATCH VILLAS community where the sand, surf and beachside pool are just steps away. Enjoy an enviable location in the heart of Surf City, close to the pier, local restaurants, beach shops, and live music venues. Two oceanfront covered porches offer gorgeous views. You’ll also love the modern kitchen and well-appointed bedroom suites. The upper-level GREAT ROOM features two seating areas and a 52” flat-screen television equipped with Roku where you can watch a family movie or catch up on your favorite series. Step onto the covered porch and sip your morning coffee while watching the beautiful sunrise and the surfers catch a wave. The fully equipped, modern kitchen includes granite countertops and stainless-steel appliances upgraded in 2022. Enjoy casual dining at the kitchen island with seating for four. The dining table seats eight and is the perfect place to enjoy your favorite cuisine or celebrate a special event. A newly renovated powder bath is convenient to the great room space. BEDROOM SUITES This property sleeps up to eight guests in four bedrooms. All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and include a flat-screen TV equipped with Roku. The SOUND SUITE is located on the upper level. It is furnished with a king-size bed and Simmons Beautyrest mattress. The suite includes a private balcony where you can enjoy beautiful sunsets. The en-suite bathroom is configured with a jetted tub and a walk-in shower. The OCEAN SUITE is located on the second level. It is furnished with a king-size bed and a Stearns and Foster mattress; it includes an ocean-front covered porch. The en-suite bathroom is configured with a walk-in shower. The ISLAND SUITE is located on the second level. It features a king-size bed with a Tempur-Pedic mattress and is a quiet oasis. The en-suite bathroom is configured with a double vanity and a tub/shower combination. The SHAKA SUITE is located on the second level. It is furnished with a queen-size bed and Simmons Beautyrest mattress. The suite includes a private balcony. The en-suite bathroom has a walk-in shower. The SURF SHACK is a lower level room with a full-size futon and 52" flat-screen television. This room has a door that opens onto the carport and is close to the outdoor shower. It is a casual flex space for sleeping and hanging out. EXTRA AMENITIES include complimentary Wi-Fi, an in-unit elevator, a washer/dryer, e-Space, a library exchange, a wine exchange, an outdoor shower, and six beach chairs. Linens and beach towels are also provided for your convenience. The carport provides tandem parking for three vehicles.

The house was amazing and the view was breathtaking. The owners have thought of everything to ensure you have what you need and were very responsive. We didn’t have a single issue during our stay. Loved that we could walk most places, the beach was at the back door, and the kids loved playing in the pool. We all had our own space in the house as well. It was perfectly laid out. We will definitely be back again.

There really are no words to describe renting from Garrett and Kristy! Their place was everything that was described and more. We have been vacationing in Surf City for over 20 years and this by far and hands down the best place we have ever stayed in. Everything that we needed was there. First thing you notice when walking in besides how wonderfully decorated it is, and how extremely clean it is and how well they maintain the property. The communication was smooth and easy! Thank you Garrett and Kristy for helping our family have such a great vacation. We will be returning!!

Our family all enjoyed this Surf City beach house. We love being on the beach and also having access to a beach front pool. This house has it all plus a location that makes beach life even more fun by being able to walk to everything and rarely needing to get in the car. The Reese family is very accommodating and thoughtful with all the special amenities featured in their fabulous Point Break beach getaway!

Just got home from our stay at Point Break. Had the most relaxing family vacation ever. This property has everything. The hosts are so accommodating and the attention to detail is amazing. Check in was so easy. No running to pick up keys somewhere after you’ve been on the road for hours. Our family of 9 had plenty of space. Loved waking up and sitting on the deck(s) looking out over the ocean every morning. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

This property is great location next to the pier on the family side of the beach. Great beach access and pool below two balconies. The stunning décor and wide spread layout gives each guest their privacy and own bathroom. The bonus room downstairs was great for young teens that like to have their own "den". Outdoor shower is key for keeping sand out of property and the welcome basket was not expected but such a great surprise of all local goodies. Great food locations next door and donut/coffee shops/bars within a block or two. Wish there was a beer fridge or ice maker- but bring an extra cooler to store all of the beach BYOBs! :)

Property has fabulous accommodations. Well maintained, clean, comfortable, and attentive providing a level of detail in guest bag, wine selection and snacks that exceeded expectations. View and location on beach can’t be beat. Convenient for food, amenities and easy access to everything. Beds were extremely comfortable, linens and towels were plenteous. Beach bikes, chairs and outdoor shower made the stay even more enjoyable. Remodeled furnishings and upgraded appliances are all like new.
Definitely plan to stay here again.

Family beach getaway
Place was beautiful inside and out and we had a wonderful family vacation. The house also was very well stocked with supplies and fun stuff like games and things for the beach. Loved having the beach and pool right there. Definitely would stay here again!

Family vacay
The property is exactly how it is presented in pictures and the description. It was perfect for my family of five. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! This property is so well maintained and the views were spectacular. The property owners were very responsive to all issues and easy to work with. Hope to stay here again in the future. Highly recommend!

Best Beach Vacation Ever!
This beach house is amazing! Kristy and Garrett are wonderful hosts and did fantastic job renovating it. Beautifully decorated with so many lovely touches. They provide everything! All you need is a bathing suit and groceries if you want to cook in their gourmet kitchen! Most of us were from out of state, so it was nice to have beach towels and beach chairs provided. We loved having the community pool and beach right in front of us. Keep in mind that the beach is public. But the pool and beach were never too crowded (late June.)
The location is ideal. Restaurants and shops are within walking distance. You can walk the fishing pier for $1. View Beautiful sunrises from the beach and sunsets over the Surf City Bridge. You will love "Point Break!"
