Not enough towels The kitchen was not finished and there were still bits of work needing to be done around the place.

We showed up and couldn't get in. That night, our efforts to communicate were extremely frustrating with long delays between communication. Then silence. They claimed that our reservation was for the next day, but a clear email record shows we had a confirmed reservation for that day. Later they said it had been for the day before. We arrived late from an international flight and were left scrambling for a hotel at high tourist season. All we could find was an expensive one. Booking told us that night they would reimburse us the difference, but so far have not. Best I can say is at least they didn't have a rabid dog that bit us.

Small kitchen whithout table

The room and the bed were amazing, comfy and clean. And the coffeemaker next to the bed a great support to an early start of exploring reykjanes peninsula on our first day.

Arriving past midnight. We took a rental from the airport - short and easy drive an parking at the house were a great plus.

Perfect location for a first day in Iceland. Get off the plane check in and get comfortable and head to the blue lagoon. very clean and tidy. simple check in.

They really need black out curtains! 😄

Easy check-in, convenient stay after our evening visit at the Blue Lagune. We got lucky, no one else stayed in the other rooms that night. We didn't cook, but had a fantastic breakfast at the hjá höllu cafe nearby.

Perfect for a one night stop over before returning to the airport for an early flight. Quiet and not many other guests staying so it was private.
