Breakfast is good and the kitchen staff friendly and accommodating
Our reservation is deluxe suit which according to the staff is celebrity suite and we have been given family suite with queen bed and single bed. Even though I showed the email from Isla Amara giving me an option in de luxe suite to have a 3 single bed which I replied yes. The staff seemed to ignore my email so we stayed in family suite, been transferred twice because the room that they gave us was so difficult to open and close, we are senior citizen so opening and closing that door would be difficult, then we were transferred to a room which wifi connection cannot reach the room so we were transferred again on the room with door problem. I did requested for a folding bed and for the whole time that we stayed in Isla Amara, I have to slept in an uncomfortable folding bed and the staff reason is because Booking.com booking is family bed. I am still on holiday and I will contact Booking.com regarding this matter.

I stayed with my partner for 6 nights. The reception is instagrammable if that’s what you’re looking for. The pool area is nice. The room and toilet are spacious enough but there’s not even a small vanity table with a chair. The location is okay if you’re driving a motorbike or a car, otherwise is a bit far from El Nido town, where most of the restaurants are. If you rely on a tuk-tuk will be at least 300 pesos one way. The breakfast is acceptable but could be A LOT better, not even a simple pandesal was there… Overall we were disappointed. Was expecting more for the name and price of the hotel.

Location is very close to the beach and there are different restaurants nearby.
The bed side lamps were not easily accessible to turn on.

No room phone which made it inconvenient.AC did not work well. There bed bugs that bit me all over. We had to pay a deposit for extra room key. No free shuttle to the airport even though it was only 3 minutes away.

Location of the hotel on lio beach and close proximity to the airport were good. There was no disturbance by planes, they are propellor planes and are not that frequent, so noise was not an issue. Plenty of restaurants and bars on the beach.
Servicing of the rooms was not the best. Dirty coffee cups, weren’t cleaned, no soap refills, despite leaving it out of the dispenser. Bare minimum in the housekeeping dept.
Breakfast, no alot of choice for western people plus no variation.

Distance to beach is so close. A lot of places to eat around the area and there is a drug store close by.
The king size is two double beds put together. It worked but you can tell when you lie down the mattress difference.

Sehr schöne Anlage ausserhalb von Dreck und Lärm. Gratis Softice jeden Abend. Gutes Frühstück. Das Resort befindet sich in der Lio Community, ein komplett geschlossenes und entwickeltes Resort Areal. Von daher sehr sauber und sicher aber halt nicht authentisch.
Alles wie immer sehr hellhörig gebaut. Pool nicht sehr sauber.

Amazing facilities, friendly and helpful staff and in the beautiful location of Lio! I would highly recommend to anyone to stay here!
The only thing I could fault would be that the water was warm and not hot, however I enjoy an extremely hot shower so this is not the end of the world at all!!

Personal encantador, desayuno fantástico y bien ubicado, en zona tranquila a solo 15 min del centro de El Nido. Las habitaciones son espaciosas, bonitas, cómodas y no se escucha nada. Tienes a 50 metros la playa de Lio Beach donde se ven unos atardeceres muy bonitos. Está al lado del aeropuerto, por lo que si llegas en avión tardarás escasos 5 minutos.
Por poner alguna pega, quizá eché de menos algo más de limpieza del suelo, si caminabas descalzo notabas que faltaba algo de limpieza. Pero estuvimos realmente a gusto.

Amazing location on one of the most beautiful beaches, Lio beach. The staff was very friendly, professional and helpful. The hotel is perfect place to rest and enjoy the beach and sun. If you want tours it is short ride with tricycle to the town.
The only thing that can be improved is selection of food for breakfast. I believe the hotel is more oriented to Asian market so there is no “traditional” breakfast we eat in Europe.
You won’t be left hungry though.

Rooms were comfortable and clean. Very accessible to the beach and places to eat.
The rooms doors need to have their locks updated with keycards perhaps and providing two for each customer to say the least. Otherwise, the stay was worth it.

Location is so close to the airport. Beach is nice. Very convenient too. Loved the birthday amenity that was provided to my son - Nathan. They had a great time. The hotel itself is a very chill spot and not as expensive as other hotels around.
Maybe staff should respond to emails more. But other than that, everyone us very accommodating.

Isla Amara is located right on the beach, and an excellent location if you’re arriving into El Nido Airport. The room was clean and exactly as advertised, good AC as well! The pool was really nice (although quite warm) and the overall hotel was very well kept. Everything Looked like new!
When trying to organise an airport transfer on arrival, we messaged the hotel several times a few days before but never received any response meaning we had to organise one ourselves. It looks like they don’t check their messages. Perhaps more training needed on front reception.
Also, the breakfast was very simple and mainly consisted of dried fish and rice. We ended up wasting breakfast elsewhere. Would be good to improve the selection.

The hotel is nicely decorated and the bed and pillows are comfortable.
Very little has been maintained, even the hotel sign is missing an “I”. The restaurant and bar are not working, we couldn’t even get water. The restaurant only open for breakfast and then they clean is with bleach which smells horribly. Cannot comment on breakfast as we did not have any - other reviewers here have poor experiences w it.
The staff is not trained properly, although that falls on management. They are trying their best but feels they have been thrown into the deep end to manage this whole hotel.
What a pity because it seems that once upon a time it was really nice. Management has to be changed or policies and systems need to be strengthened because it doesn’t feel like a working hotel.

The location. The room was ok.
Mosquitos in the room. They forget to clean the room. Unfriendly staff. Same old boring breakfast each day.

The design of the rooms and bathrooms was nice, the beds were comfortable and the location was great - right by the beach.
They wanted to pay only with cash which was difficult when the ATMs ran out. In the end, we were able to pay by card but their machine wasn’t always working.

Isla Amara is probably one of the best hotels we stayed at for "Value for Money". It's near El Nido beach (literally just 3 mins walk). ATM is just at the back of the hotel. Free parking and right beside the hotel. Pharmacy at the back of the hotel too. Staffs are friendly! Very clean and peaceful.
The interior design of the hotel looks so expensive, it's cozy and very modern!
If you'd like to stay in a place near the airport, this is the best option for you (3-5 mins). Lio is also in the middle of El Nido (so you can easily explore Town Proper, and Nacpan beach).
What could have been better? - They missed our airport transfer appointment when we arrived for some reason, but they offered a FREE airport van transfer on our departure to cover the inconvenience. Thank you for a great customer service!

Room was not good. Many things did not work, including TV. Bathroom was moldy. Definitely NOT good value for money.

Great location to the airport and close to town for all the excursions. It's quiet and best for families with little ones and older parents. Not a party hotel but they do have a nice bar with pool table to hang out and of course the beach is only steps away. The beach has a few restaurants and if you wanted other choices, you could take a taxi to town which is only 10 minutes away.
Service can be a little slow at times but with a little training on customer service the place is perfect for a little getaway.

Dainty interiors, yummy breakfast buffet, i love the ube champorado, warm swimming pool waters, great to take a dip after a long drive. Lio Beach is just outside, so restaurants are accessible and we had a nice evening stroll by the beach under the starry sky and sounds of the waves. All clean and relaxing ambiance, welcome drinks was a plus.

The place is super nice, love everything about it. The staffs are very accommodating as well especially john and jade. A must visit for friends, family or couples. Walking distance to the beach as well and closer to different kind of restaurants.
I like free board games/ billiards.
The price only as it is a bit expensive especially for 2 people only hopefully atleast 3 max per room.
Hopefully they have free slice of cake for birthday celebrants hihi.
