Private deep water dock w/covered slip, large outdoor deck w/gas grill, firepit, shuffleboard, covered outdoor ping pong, kayak, water play pads and life jackets! Relax with stunning lake views from the rocking chairs or hammock on the huge screened porch or cozied up by the living room fireplace flanked by picture windows. 10 min to downtown Hiawassee! Please read ALL house rules prior to booking 1 king, 3 queens, 1 bunk bed in common area Covered parking for 2 vehicles, with room for 1 additional in the circle driveway Boat trailers cannot enter the neighborhood. Secure parking and storage is available locally for a fee. House nicely met our needs but water was too rough on boats

Several of our friends had just retired, so we planned a celebration getaway. The house was wonderful (much better than the pictures showed) with easy access to the water. We enjoyed our trip.

We all loved this house. It was perfect place perfect setting we loved the screened in outdoor porch. We loved all the room. The only thing that I would change would be to add more parking. But we will be booking this again it was awesome

WE were truly amazed with the property. Very nice house. Perfect for family with children. Obvious new firepit which was great as well. The house is well equipped (WiFi is strong, kitchen, TVs everywhere). One of the wives is a chef , she spoke highly of the kitchen euipment. Nice bathrooms with one exception. ...... apparently some plumber made a dynamic mistake with placement of a toilet downstairs or it was a joke on the owners..... an adult can not use it. Other than that, it was perfect. The boat dock came in great use with my Zodiac, view of the lake at night is super. Hope to return soon.

We loved our time at this home!! The view of the lake was amazing. The home was very spacious and clean! The house was stocked with everything we needed. We all spent a lot of time sitting on the screened porch and also down by the lake on the swing. The bonus was the covered dock. We brought our boat and we're able to walk down the short path and get on the boat and went for several rides. We even went on a night ride and were able to come back to a well-lit dock and path back to the house! We hope to come back next summer! All four of us couples gave this an A+ rating!

Great week at this property. Everything about this place was awesome except for the neighbors dog who barked at us incessantly while we we on the deck. That was only a minor issue though. The scenery was breathtaking. We will definitely book this property again.

Relaxing Family Getaway
This is hands down one of the most comfortable, best places we have ever stayed at the lake. We have rented from several places in Nottely, and Chatuge and this home was so comfortable, the views were breathtaking walking in (pictures on posting don't do this place justice!). It was a rainy weekend when we stayed, which allowed us to enjoy the home much more and dock for fishing. We had 2 small kids with us, and they enjoyed the table tennis, game room, shuffleboard and dock. The heated bathrooms in the cooler weather were a nice plus, and gas fireplace! I highly recommend this rental, we hope to be back, what a beautiful lake home!

Wonderful Lake House!
Wonderful house on Lake Chatuge with a view of the mountains. House has two levels and is perfect for families. We enjoyed this home so much, we’re already booking for the summer!

Management company was quick to handle anything we needed to make our stay better. Very pleasant, relaxing stay with family. Love the way the kitchen was stocked for us to cook about three meals a day.

We spent most of our time out on the deck as well as the screened in porch just enjoying the amazing view. The same group of couples have been coming to Lake Chatuge for 8 years and we normally stay at Sunset Bay condos. This year we thought we would do something different and get a house with a personal dock to host the boat we trailered up. The house was perfect for three couples and would have been comfortable with four. Kitchen was well equipped as well as the all the comforts of a normal home throughout. We spent most of our time out on the deck as well as the screened in porch just enjoying the amazing view. We all enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend choosing this property for your next Chatuge Vacation!

This home was absolutely beautiful. Very big with lots of bedrooms. There were lots of activities for the kids. Plenty of water toys for swimming. The location was perfect. Not too much boat traffic and close to town for shopping and supplies. The view of the mountains was awesome. We were able to tie our boat up to the dock without any problem. The photos do not do it justice. We will definitely be back!

Perfect lake getaway
I can’t overstate how awesome the covered driveway and paved pathway to the dock is. It rained on our drive up, so not having to get out of the car in the rain or tromp through mud to go fishing is PRICELESS. This home is generously appointed, from fishing poles to puzzles. For my aging parents and sister with special needs, having two bedrooms on the main level was perfect. The only thing missing was the darn fish!!

We had a great time in Hiawasee, great access to all locations. We went to Scaly Mountain tubing, Helen on the roller coaster, and climbed Brass Town Bald Mountain. House was everything we needed

Excellent lake house for mid-size to larger family!
Our family had a wonderful and relaxing stay. Our group consisted 5 adults and one 2 yr-old child. The house is very clean and comfortable with ample space both indoors and out. The very large screened porch off the kitchen and living room is so nice as is the large deck overlooking the lake. We enjoyed the indoor shuffleboard table, ping pong table, lakeside swing and chairs. Our 2-yr old grandson particularly loves the toys provided in the game closet which is stocked with many board games, toys and other things to occupy your time without turning on the tv :). Nice few days all around. We highly recommend the house and location!

I would recommend staying here if you are looking for peace and quiet.

My husband and I made a last minute booking at this lovely lake house. We had a relaxing, comfortable weekend and I would love to visit again in the summer. The house is clean, furniture is comfortable, and kitchen is well stocked. Don't worry about the driveway, it is steep for about the length of your car and then you drive onto a level covered area right in front of the front door of the house. Easy unloading! Note, the driveway you see around the side of the home is roped off and you are not able to drive to the lower back of the house. That was not a problem for us. Great house.

Beautiful View
My husband and I made a last minute booking at this lovely lake house. We had a relaxing, comfortable weekend and I would love to visit again in the summer. The house is clean, furniture is comfortable, and kitchen is well stocked. Don't worry about the driveway, it is steep for about the length of your car and then you drive onto a level covered area right in front of the front door of the house. Easy unloading! Note, the driveway you see around the side of the home is roped off and you are not able to drive to the lower back of the house. That was not a problem for us. Great house.

Lake house getaway
We really enjoyed our stay at the lake in Hiawassee this week. The house was very clean and comfortable. It was just two of us, but the house is really well set up for families with multiple areas for fun gatherings. We enjoyed the local area as well, hiking and visiting Blairsville. We will definitely stay here again.

Loved the lake
Driveway is very small to fit 2 cars and steep. Luckily I lived in a house with a very steep driveway so I was used to it. Lake was great. House was great.

Stress floats away
In the days s of covid shut down, we were afraid of going away on vacation. We’re from the DC area and have been locked down for months.
We found this property and decided that a remote lake house sounded great — but it ended up being better than we could have dreamed. It’s super clean and so many things were ibviously recently updated - it smelled new.
The house is situated on a part of Lake Chatuge that doesn’t get as much of the boat traffic as the main part. There were plenty of crafts on the water but it never got to be bothersome at all. I swam with my daughters each day and we docked my brothers boat in the owners dock. The owner had large foam floating pads for the kids to play on and it kept them entertained for hours each day. I enjoyed floating on my raft in 72 degree water- that never really changed temp. It’s deep water so it’s about 20 feet down when your at the end of the dock. My daughter loved diving in and remarked that the lake water made our hair and skin soft too!
When we were done swimming we would play any of the many games provided. We got great at ping pong and shuffle board but also at this really fun hook game they had outside on the basement level. We loved the board games too.
My brothers family rented a cottage nearby and we had enough room for both families when they visited.
We also had an easy time getting groceries nearby. My daughter had swimmers ear and we found a walk-in clinic close as well. Seems so tucked away in the beautiful mountains - but really, there are conveniences close.
The house comes with so much that you should pack light. My husband paid me a big compliment when he walked in for the first time. We do a lot of international travel and we love finding unique spots. He told me that this getaway was his favorite. He loved the family time with my brothers daughters playing with ours each day - but the scenery was his favorite. He went out and sat in the docked boat every day and just looked at the mountains and lake. He said he felt more at peace there than anywhere else.
The hosts run a vacation property concierge service locally so they were very quick to address any issues we had. One morning I mentioned that we noticed there was no gas in the grill gas tank and within an hour or two one was delivered. They’re pros!
It was very hard to leave - but we now know a hidden gem in the north GA valley that we will definitely retreat to again.
