It is Not a pet friendly area. Dogs are not allowed on the beach and there is no open area to play ball or fetch with your dog. The best feature of the condo is their pool which is heated and well maintained. There are 2 king beds and the third room has 2 double beds. The bedrooms are very large and there is great closet space There is no common room in the building and they don’t have any snowbird association with activities. They were drilling for carbon monoxide hookups and new fire regulations for most of the month which didn’t work well with our 6 month old baby’s naps. There are only 2 elevators and all month they were working on replacing one of the elevators. The other elevator worked inconsistently so we had to carry the baby stroller with 2 people up and down the stair well. There was no notice on any of the elevators when both were shut down so you could stand there with the button pushed and have no way of knowing that it wasn’t functioning. I pity anyone with mobility issues at that building. You need to bring your own: salad spinner, hand held mixer, mixmaster, corkscrew, keurig machine, teapot, and king size mattress cover (they have a plastic mattress cover that just makes you sweat) also if you like nice sheets bring your own. The washing machine is also a dryer but we never were able to get it to dry cycle so we bought a drying rack to hang our laundry. There is a dryer in the building beside each staircase that takes quarters . we expected better.

We had an amazing stay! Very cozy and close to the ocean! We enjoyed the heated pool as it was chilly outside! Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We had three must-haves for our Christmas week stay: on the beach with a pool, three full bedrooms, and must accept a dog. This condo met all three requirements and wasn't too expensive. So we took it. Cons: The washer/dryer combo (single machine) is not really adequate for a family vacation. Plus it seemed to leak. The master bedroom mattress was new but way too soft for me. The sheets didn't fit right. The pillows were too soft. The dining room metal chairs are more apropos to a beach bar. The property doesn't permit gas or charcoal grilling. The pool was heated, but barely and doesn't have a hot tub. One of the elevators was out for a major renovation. No ETA on when it will be repaired. Pros: Easy parking and covered. Well appointed kitchen. Great balcony and view, even from the second floor. Quiet unit, far from the elevator. Plenty of room. Great internet and cable TV. Responsive property management. Easy access to the city dog park, Cocoa Beach attractions, the Port, and KSC. We got to watch TWO night launches on the same night from the ninth floor. Amazing views if you're in town for a launch. Nice beach. Towels, chairs, provided.

Great location and easy beach access. We enjoyed our stay. The only things that would have been a little better was if the pool was not as heated in August and the twin beds are a little small when the whole family are adults. Make sure you have a key or you will get locked out of the building. Wonderful condo, it was nice not having to bring towels and linens. Thanks for a great unit and beach, the family is already taking about wanting to come back.

We will not be staying here again. The condo was a little run down and Canaveral Towers itself is not really kid or dog friendly. The management was constantly yelling at my kids for being kids. The pool area shut down at 8:30, something we did not know until just before we checked in. This is more of a retirement community. We were accused of doing things during times we were not there. Definitely too expensive for what it is really worth. We were on vacation and walked on egg shells anytime we tried to enjoy the area. Management was always watching and waiting to say something. Also, our unit was right above the management’s room.

The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, cooking wise. We cooked the majority of our stay. The knives definitely needed sharpening but other than that, we didn’t want for anything in the kitchen. Fridge was a good size and cold and a nice size pantry for our groceries. The unit is on the end near a stairway and can be noisy at times. All the beach supplies were great. Chairs, a small cooler, umbrella, boogie boards were all in good shape and super nice to have! The washer/dryer combo unit is meh. It’s super loud and the dryer takes forever. We don’t come on vacation to do laundry but like to have fresh towels and laundry was a chore. The floors are incredibly dirty. We ended up with black feet even after showering. The couch bed was terrible. It’s advertised as sleeps 8, but no way 2 adults could sleep on that couch. Thankfully it was a child but it was not comfortable. The couch was also uncomfortable to sit on and there were not enough chairs for the 7 of us to all sit in the living room. There was also construction going on in the building and it was not enjoyable to sit on the balcony or the pool and have to listen to that. Overall, we had a great stay and would stay again, but would like a few minor improvements made.
