Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Clean, spacious, accommodating, and right next to the water. Both comfortable and convenient. Rules were well outlined and not too restrictive. A fantastic stay and would defintely use again if the dates line up. Thanks!

We have been coming to Sitka for 20 plus years and have stayed at lodges in the past. This is the first year we've stayed in a private home rental. We were very pleased with the experience. The house was wonderful. Comfortable large bedrooms, a large living-dining area with a spectacular view of Sitka Sound. Our grandson stayed with his grandmother while the rest of the adults went fishing each day. He loved sitting in the window watching the boats, airplanes, buses and people go by the house all day. It was close enough to walk to town, so it wasn't necessary to rent a car. We would definitely love to stay at this home again on future trips.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home is wonderful. We were two couples each with two children. The eight of us thoroughly enjoyed this rental and had plenty of room. For the price, we were a little surprised there were no 'extras'. We had to buy additional everything: ketchup, laundry soap, trash bags, body wash, etc. But what a great location. Right on the water, next to the Totem Trail, just down from the playground, and an easy walk to town.

What a gem of a property! The house was perfectly located walking distance to town and beach walks. The view is gorgeous and the house was spacious and clean. We used the fully stocked kitchen every night and if we had an extra evening would have had a bonfire at the fire pit. Thank you Ocean Vista. See you next summer.
