Mallette Park (1/4 mile away) offers great entertainment for youngsters in the summer time with a pump track, disc golf course, skate park, recreational equipment, and picnic tables for people of all ages to enjoy time together and the great outdoors. In the winter time, the town trolley will pick your entire group up from the cabin and drop them at the Ski Area, free-of-charge. The cabin sleeps 8 when including the fold out in living area. Kitchen is completely stocked with cookery and you'll have your own gas grill outside to use as well. Balcony bedroom offers a king bed. Horseback rides and Cowboy Dinners can be booked. Whether beating the heat of the Summer or skiing the slopes of the Winter, this property checks off all the boxes. We were in Red River for a family gathering and picked this location for the river in front of the property. We consistently caught rainbow trout in the morning and evenings. The cabin is clean and easily fit four adults, two kids and a dog. I would highly recommend this cabin for families.

Really liked the location. Beds were a little too hard. Could have been a little cleaner. Window seals had a lot of bugs and webs. Also porch had several webs. Overall good experience 🙂

We did Vacation Bible School at First Baptist Church in Red River. This cabin was conveniently located and had everything we needed. Loved the sound of the river right outside our door.

My family and I love going to RR. This trip was fun. The cabin was small but it was a great place to stay. We were comfortable in our visit. Any time I had a question it was answered quickly. Thank you for a great experience

Overall it was a very nice. The decor and proximity to the river was wonderful! One important suggestion would be to mention how firm/hard the mattresses are in all of the rooms. Some people like that, my husband and I not so much. We finally got used to it on the last night. Maybe have egg crate topper available for those of us who like a softer mattress. We loved the outdoor decks on both floors! So I still recommend staying there!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The property was the perfect size for our visit to Red River. We love that the cabin looks rustic from the outside, but it’s modern on the inside. With a bedroom and bathroom downstairs, it was perfect for my elderly father. And the wife and I used the master bedroom upstairs and cracked the balcony door each night so we could fall asleep and wake up listening to the river running right behind the property. The view of the river and the frequent wildlife floating or walking by was absolutely amazing. Plus we loved the view of the mountains! And even though you are fairly close to town, it feels nice and secluded. The kitchen was fully stocked for all of the cooking needs, and the bathrooms were nicely stocked as well. And the property managers were super quick to respond to the one request that we had. We highly recommend this property!

This fresh, clean home was MORE than we hoped for. It was modern, comfortable, FULLY stocked, easily accessed from the road & town, and quiet. The owners were super responsive & friendly. The front porch & right on the river was magical — river sounds in the house even. I could not have had a better place to spend with my family!! We will be back!!!!!

This property was perfectly suited to our needs. Fully stocked kitchen with even a crockpot. The only minor complaint we had was that the king size bed was extremely firm.

Sound of river running, hummingbirds whirring, and ducks splashing created a wonderful ambience. Cabin was clean, and sheets were crisp. The only problem we had was with refrigerator freezing some of our food, but overall, very nice.

My family and I stayed here an like the title says we were right on the river! Close enough one could fish off the porch! The small little cottage clean and arranged nicely. It was just out of the town of red river, far enough away but close enough for a morning breakfast or dinner at the brewery! Again though, the river! It was amazing to go to sleep at night listening to the sound of the water flowing all night. All in all we had a great time and enjoyed our stay!

Property was clean, and had the amenities we needed for our family. We would stay there again. Red River is one of our favorite places to visit, and sitting by the river drinking coffee and relaxing, was quite nice.
