Located in Emerald Isle, this charming house for $1,099 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Come and stay at EAST Islandia! Beautiful half of an OCEANFRONT duplex with lots of good family space and beautiful views. Our property features an direct ocean access, outdoor shower, a fully functioning kitchen and our very own Crow's Nest on the top floor with sweeping views of the coast! Pet friendly, message to get pet approved! Restrictions and fees apply. More details about the house: The Swindell Family is happy to host you on the East side of our ocean front duplex. Renting this side allows access to four bedrooms (king or queen bed in each), four bathrooms all with tub/shower combos, and a top floor media room that has bonus twin beds (4 total). The top floor room, which we call the Crow’s Nest, has a large TV, movie style seating, four trundle twin beds and FANTASTIC sweeping views of the coast. There are two decks, upper and lower. If you’re looking for lots of sun, views, and some tanning potential, the upper deck is your spot! The lower deck is for the low key vacationer, it is shady and quiet. Please note: there are lots of stairs in this house, the entryway landing is on the ground floor, first set of bedrooms on the second, the kitchen and dining on the third, and lastly the Crow’s Nest is up on the fourth level. There is broadband Wi-Fi throughout the house. The kitchen is fully equipped (including Jenn-Air range, microwave, toaster, toaster-oven, coffee maker, blender, slow cooker, ice maker, a shrimp steamer, lots of specialty cookware and good kitchen knives). The inside dining tables seat ten, in addition to the four stools at the breakfast bar, and we provide an ample number of table settings in case guests drop in. There are four two-person bedrooms (two of them with king beds and two with queens — two are oceanfront, and two have nice ocean views). Each bedroom has its own full bath en suite and direct access to an oceanfront deck. The large Crow's Nest has four more single beds, and accesses one of the en suite bathrooms (one floor down) directly through a separate door, without having to go through the attached bedroom. For the whole family, there are many other services and activities within easy walking distance: Bogue Inlet Pier, the Food Lion and Publix grocery stores, the ABC store, a coffee shop, a hardware store with fishing supplies and beach equipment, restaurants, a movie theater, surf shops, and numerous specialty stores. Extensive paved bike/walk paths make exploring more distant shops, services and scenery a breeze. Other adventures await you a short drive away: boat & kayak rentals, charter fishing, historic Swansboro and Beaufort, the NC Aquarium, Core Sound Waterfowl Museum, Cedar Point Park, Hammocks Beach State Park, Fort Macon State Park, cruises to Cape Lookout and dolphin-watch cruises. And don't forget the wonderful walk along the beach to Bogue Inlet at the western end of the island. There is Absolutely No Smoking in the House! This house is set up wonderfully for a group. Lots of stairs but laid out in such a way that it’s easy for everyone to have privacy if needed. Great decks and located walking distance to many stores and attractions. Communication was great and no problems at all. Great house to rent!

My family and I enjoyed this property to the upmost. The property had all the amenities a person could ask for. The property was in the center of everything. I didn’t have problem finding stores and restaurants. The people were so friendly and the food was delicious. I will definitely be vacationing there again within the near future. Oh, the fishing pier was very enjoyable and relaxing. The weather was calm enough for everyone to do the things they wanted to do. Remember, this property can accommodate numerous of people

The property is one which we first rented 10 years ago. We love that area of Emerald Isle. And the home is large and comfy. The home had just sold when we rented it in June-July. I will give the new owners the benefit of the doubt. They respond immediately when there is an issue. Unfortunately, the home is in dire need of being updated. It is tired cosmetically. I think they have a plan for updating and replacing furniture, etc. The home needs a major investment at this point. That said, Dinner on the deck at night and the views are unparalleled on the island!
