PROXIMITY TO WEST POINT (17 miles) DOWNTOWN BEACON/ THE ROUNDHOUSE (2 miles) Our Beacon home is perfect for a family or two to enjoy the great outdoors and all that Beacon has to offer, including hiking out the back door, great restaurants and brew pubs, Dia Beacon Museum, music at the Towne Crier and many other local attractions. Should you prefer to stay at home, the home sits on 3 acres of peace, with a stunning river view with incredible sunsets. Just out the back door is a large patio with a gas fire table, gas grill, outside shower and an inground pool with diving board and slide. The little ones will love the swing set, and less little ones the ping pong and foos ball table in the basement, along with large TV for watching movies. There is an office for private work at home meetings and a formal living room with view to Mount Beacon. Our home has hosted many a family gathering and accommodates it well. The open kitchen, living area, with fireplace is the central hub and cooking is easy and efficient on the 6 burner gas stove with griddle and double ovens. There are two dishwashers to make clean up easy. A large mudroom with lockers and washer and dryer keeps the group mess contained in one room for ease and uncluttered living while on your vacation.

I booked this property almost 2 years earlier as a "home base" during my daughters wedding weekend . The minute we walked into the impeccably clean house you can feel the warmth of this home. Although it is large and spacious, the decor, the brightness and the views all exude cozy and familiar. Every detail has been thought out from availability of fun activities to stocking the house with anything you may need during your stay. The property is stunning- beautiful, perfectly maintained grounds and pool. Melissa is available within minutes to respond to any questions.
If you are looking for a magnificent home in a perfectly serene location (2 miles from Main street) BOOK IT. You will not be sorry.

We had such a great stay this weekend. The house was beautiful, pool was very refreshing with a beautiful view. We also checked out the town of Beacon, such a cute little town with stores and coffee shops! Highly recommend for a nice getaway!

This house is as nice as it looks online. It was very clean. There was plenty of space for eight of us. It has a great dining room and kitchen. There is plenty of room to hang out together in the family room and living room. The pool overlooking the Hudson is great.

Melissa was a great host and the property was awesome. The house had everything we needed for a fun weekend in Beacon with friends. It was remote enough to feel like you were in nature but was close driving distance to a bunch of towns including Beacon and Cold Spring. Unfortunately the weather was not great while we were there, however it seemed like the house was equipped with fun outdoor and summer activities. The house would be perfect for a large family, multiple families, or a group of friends. The bedrooms and layout were exactly as described and we really enjoyed our stay!

This home is a perfect place for a large family gathering or celebration! The open floor plan, stocked kitchen and outside pool area was perfect for our West Point Graduation. The house is more spacious than pictures depict and we really appreciated the very detailed outline of how to use all the wonderful amenities. We really appreciated all of the small touches like bath gel, dishwasher tabs, beach towels etc etc. The view was tremendous and the house is close to downtown Beacon which has some great eateries. It was about 30 minutes from West Point which was perfect for our stay.

Our stay was nothing short of perfect! Communicating with Melissa was easy while planning and during our trip. She responded quickly to our questions and was eager to make our stay enjoyable. Her home was pristine, beautiful and well equipped from kitchen to games to the beautiful outdoor space. Downtown Beacon was a short drive or Uber away. We highly recommend this property for a relaxing vacation.

We had a wonderful time. The house is beautiful and very comfortable. We enjoyed watching the sun set over the Hudson while lounging in the pool.

We are a combined family of 5 adults and 5 children and had a wonderful,comfortable and memorable stay at this very spacious and beautiful home. The center of fun was the built in pool complete with slide, floats , diving board. It provided activity for everyone without even leaving the house. The basement area complete with toys ( variety of nerf guns was a definite plus!) ping pong table, and large screen TV kept everybody busy in the evenings. There is also a barbecue to enjoy and a commercial type stove for family breakfasts in the morning. There's a basketball hoop on the driveway which added to the fun
The beds were super comfortable and cozy. The master bedroom is more like a suite . It's huge! the rooms are just laid out perfectly to accommodate family living
We didn't explore the town too much but we'll have to wait until our next visit for that!!

We traveled here to visit with my son and his family and meet our new grandchild. It was the perfect home for so many different ages of children, parents and grandparents. The pool is fabulous and had everything we needed for grown ups and little ones. The view of the river and sunset were breathtaking. The home has every amenity you could ask for and the climbing wall, and game tables were a big hit. We can’t wait to come back. Thank you Melissa for the perfect spot to enjoy our growing family!!

Perfection!
This property was absolutely perfect for our family. The basement provided entertainment for the kids, the pool was divine, and we loved the hiking trail directly from our backyard. The house was super neat and clean as well. Definitely a great place to rent.

Perfect Beacon Vacation Home
We had an absolute BLAST. This home is absolutely gorgeous and is uniquely situated in an area where you can see both Mt Beacon and the Hudson River. Quiet little neighborhood, huge backyard with the pool and the view. Amazingly clean and modern home. Only 5-10 minutes from Main St in Beacon. Not much more we can say other than it was a perfect getaway for a large group of us! 10/10 recommend this property!

A perfect family gathering place
Melissa's home is exactly what we needed for a multi-generational family gathering. There is plenty of room, a great eat-in kitchen with direct access to the backyard pool, making lazy days around the house a breeze. Tons of games and backyard games/toys to enjoy. Beautiful views in all directions - the Hudson River in the back, the rolling hills in the front. Quick drive to Beacon's cute Main Street. We would definitely stay here again.

They made the home feel very comfortable and welcoming. Everything was thoughtfully done. Having 2 dishwashers was great! The basement has activities where "kids" can hang out and have their privacy.
