The property consists of the Maine House, with four spacious bedrooms with water views, four full bathrooms (including a large jetted soaking tub), an elevator, a chef's kitchen and dining room, elegant living room, large library, three gas fireplaces, wraparound balconies, covered garage, large outdoor pool, jacuzzi, and spacious decks, all overlooking the Kennebec River. The property also includes the Lodge, a converted barn connected to the Maine House, which smells deliciously of cedar, and includes a full kitchen, living room, dining room, master bedroom, full bath, and a perch with trundle beds, perfect for children looking for a fun escape into the eaves for a night of giggling and ghost stories. Finally, the property includes the Bunkhouse, a two-story structure just a stone's throw from the Maine House, with two sets of wooden bunkbeds on the first floor and a master bedroom on the second floor, as well as a full bathroom and a cozy stove to warm the space. The entire estate has unobstructed views and access to the water, where a dock and sand bar offer ample opportunities for clamming and boating. The location could not be better: 2.5 hours from Boston, 45 minutes from Portland, 20 minutes from Bowdoin College's beautiful campus in Brunswick, and 10 minutes from historic Bath.
