It was just me in the condo for the weekend between my lease being up and moving into my new house. Very lovely property; clean, quiet, and private. Great visit!

Long weekend getaway for my husband and I. Location was great. We didn’t want to stay in downtown Asheville, but wanted to be able to get there easily. Very short drive to downtown, but just far enough away to not feel like in the city traffic. Also, easy to get to Biltmore Estate from the house. Place was very clean and neighborhood was very nice/quiet. Definitely would stay there again.

Exactly as described. Very clean.
And there was even a nice homemade treat for our pup sitting there upon arrival. He said it was delicious..but REALLY wanted to go play with the Turkeys outside. Yep. Real Turkeys. They're like the neighborhood watch. Thanks Brandon.
Great stay here. Great location too. 5-10 minutes from everything..if you're in a rush..lol

We did the Biltmore and Winery and downtown

Quick weekend trip to Asheville - location was great!

This was a perfect place for me to stay while in Asheville for a conference. As a woman traveling alone I felt safe staying here and slept great. It ended up being cheaper than a hotel and I had more space so I didn't feel cramped and had a living room to hang out in as opposed to just a bed in a hotel room. It was close to a lake with a nice path around it for morning runs, which was even more perfect!

Transparency of sleeping arrangements needed in the listing (remove the fold-out-couch from the listing or invest in a legit foldout couch). Other than that and a garden-stone path not designed for people over 50, everything was great. Thanks for the coffee!

We so enjoyed our stay! Brandon was an amazing host and the suite was very clean and stocked very well. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to have a fun girls weekend. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to spend time in Asheville.

We spent 4 nights at this location. We were very pleased with our experience. It is located away from the downtown area but very convenient to many attractions and hiking trails. It was a 20-30 minute drive to/from the airport depending on the time of day. The place was nicely decorated and very clean. It was well stocked with most everything one would need to be comfortable. We did not need to contact the host as he thought of everything included in a binder in the foyer area including very specific instructions on locating the place and great instructions on how to access entry to the basement accommodations. The place is quite roomy and very comfortable to come home to after a busy day in and around Asheville. I definitely recommend this place and would utilize it again on return visits to the Asheville area.

If I could give it more than five stars I would. An awesome space near downtown Asheville but secluded, private and off the beaten path. Brandon was available when we had a tv remote issue and their dog Percy was pretty cool. Will definitely stay again if we come back to Asheville.

Very clean, as advertised. Would recommend.

Impressed! Much better than a hotel and very reasonable. I would definitely recommend this to a friend if visiting the area. Also, I would definitely stay here again if my travel plans lined up. The rental was very nice, clean and all the "niceties" added.

What a great place! It was decorated very well and very clean. It felt private and cozy even though it is under owners place. The area is very spacious and our friends were very comfortable on the air mattress provided. I would definitely stay here again.

perfect small unit for small family. I was able to use air beds in the living room which worked great.
great location and very clean.

The unit could sleep 7 people with the blow up mattresses but only 4 slept here. Description for pulling up the drive and going around back to the separate entrance was perfect. I asked the girls if they would want to stay here again our next visit to the Biltmore and they both said they would love to stay again!

Brandon provided excellent service. The property is perfectly located between all of Asheville’s major attractions. It was clean, spacious, and private. We really enjoyed our stay here while visiting Asheville!

We had a great 5-night stay at Brandon's place. Very clean. Host super responsive. Great location in general, but I had a special appreciation for the close proximity to Beaver Lake to get a beautiful morning run in. Also, extra credit for labeling every. single. light switch in the apartment!

This suite is adorable and comfortable!
It was about 15 minutes from Downtown Asheville and everything is easy to get to. It looks exactly like the pics and was very clean.
It is a remodeled basement, so if hearing the people above will bother you, take that into consideration.
It did not bother my husband and I at all!

We enjoyed our stay so much! Everything was there that we would have needed. Lovely place!

Large entry, living room and bedroom, tastefully decorated and comfortable. Close to downtown Asheville and attractions via major highways. Short drive to Hendersonville wineries and Fontana Dam and lake. This is a basement VRBO with windows looking out to a secluded back yard with fire pit. As with most basements, you can hear noise from people upstairs, but I believe the host was as quiet as possible during my week stay.

Everything was in order, we had a great time.
The property was very close to nightlife and hiking opportunities.

Thanks Brandon!

Sleeping 4 means 2 people on an air mattress
3.0
Well it says 2 beds.
We figured one would be a pull out couch. We get to the house to check in and I guess it was the owner who was there? Not sure. We see a mattress in the trash. Needless to say that’s the mattress for the pull out couch we are supposed to be sleeping on. We booked this being close ish to down town and having two beds even if one is a pull out couch. I definitely will be getting a hotel next time seeing as one person slept on the floor and one slept on the couch.

My expectations were not high when I reserved this "basement apartment" for a night, but I definitely underestimated it. The space was way larger than I expected...it's literally a full one-bedroom apartment with an entirely separate entrance and parking from the main house. The furnishings are comfortable and modern. There is a small kitchenette along with a washer/dryer and a spacious bathroom with a walk-in shower. My friend slept in the large bedroom, while I spent the night on the couch...we were both quite comfortable. This space is in close proximity to downtown...our Uber rides cost $10-$15 each time and took at most 10 minutes to be dropped off near restaurants and shops. I will 100% look into staying here again when I visit in the future.

The property was a short drive on the main drag (US25) to Downtown and close to all the local eateries that we wanted to try. Lower level was very cute and remodeled. The fire pit would have been great to use as we there when it was 50's-60's but I didn't want to sit out there without a throw blanket and they didn't offer them in the suite. One thing about driving in the mountains is that lights are few and far between. When we arrived, it was dark and the streetlights must not have been turned on yet. The solar lights that illuminated the pathway to the lower apartment were dim and half of them were not working making the stone steps down to the door treacherous. The things I would change to the apartment: 1) more outdoor lighting 2) throw blankets 3) a small dinette table in the open foyer space to eat/drinkcoffee.

My husband and I got married in October, so this is our first married Christmas. We decided to getaway from the hustle and bustle for a couple days and this was the perfect place to stay! Super cute and super easy to get to! Definitely recommend!

The property is beautiful but we did have some issues with the property manager. One night he had a ton of people over and it was incredibly noisy until very late at night. I messaged him twice and never received a response.
Paper towels and a clean sponge would be a great addition to the home.
The location and space itself was lovely. Just don’t book if you’re going to be bothered by busy people and loud noises above you.

The guest suite is beautiful and spacious; parking and check-in/out are easy; and there are lots of amenities like a drip coffee maker, microwave, mini fridge and kitchenette sink (including a sponge and dish soap) with plenty of dishes and silverware. I wish I could give a 4.5 rating. The only downside is that the stairwell leading from the upstairs level does not seem to be well insulated so for a brief period on Friday evening, it was slightly noisy. We slept perfectly though, the bed is very comfortable and the bathroom is perfectly remodeled. Since we were only there for one night, we were not able to explore the interesting stores, restaurants and microbreweries/bars in the surrounding neighborhood that would not even require the quick drive to Downtown Asheville.

Had a great stay at this cute basement suite. It is very nicely updated, spacious, clean, very easy check in process! The only negative was that at night it was loud enough in the wee hours 1:00-3:30am where if you are a lighter sleeper it was easy to hear footsteps, cabinets shutting, the fire alarm went off at 3am so that was a bit alarming but other than that the place and host was great. May have been a busy weekend for them. Thank you!

Will look up this place the next time I’m in Asheville. Tidy, new and lovely. No complaints, just as listed!

This place was so nice - looks newly remodeled and you wouldn't even know it was a basement apartment. There is lots of light from all the windows and nice, tall ceiling. I'm personally sensitive to beds and don't find most comfortable, including this one, but that may be on me. The bathroom and shower space was amazing! He had the crib and highchair set up for us upon arrival. We only here to sleep, but it met out needs!

We had a great experience. Check in was easy. We were 10-12 minutes away from downtown.
