This is our second stay in the apartment. It is spacious, clean, open and comfortable. The kitchen works. The A/C units work. Location is great. We get access to the big lagoon, as well.

The bed in the master bedroom is a bit small for two people. We are accustomed to King size beds. This is a smallish Queen. No big deal, though. Also, the showers have shower heads that are "rain-showers". Water flow is a bit slow, so difficult to wash off sand. Again, not a deal killer.

Huge, comfortable apartment. You could live there, full time. It was fully stocked with everything you need, down to paper towels, kitchen sponges, hand soap and cleaning supplies. Big balcony with outdoor furniture overlooking the pool. Most of the units in the building appear to be owner-occupied, rather than rentals. Everybody seemed to know everyone else. Overall, people are well behaved and restrained, unlike other party places in Panama. The beach is very nice and only a 10 minute walk from the unit.

A few items that are not under the control of the apartment: 1. The pool area is a noisy, party-like atmosphere. But the pool party closed down pretty early, around 10 PM. 2. The unit next door had a number of guests and family members who are very loud talkers until 2 am for a couple of nights. They left their door open so it sounded like they were sitting in our living room. 3. The electricity was not reliable. We had power outages frequently throughout our stay. Interestingly, the building had its own backup power generator. But not enough power to power the AC units. We had no instructions on how to pick up the key. The guard in the little guardhouse at the entrance of the property has it.

Good location though a long walk to the beach. There is a parking area you can drive to to make it a shorter walk. The large saltwater pool was nice but not being owners, you were only allowed in a very small area but it had a slide for the kids. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was very well equipped to cook in. Large outdoor terrace overlooking a small pool.

Overall a nice condo but a few simple things could make it a much better value for the money. The walls are scuffed and dirty and in need of a coat of paint or at least cleaned. Clean the light fixtures of all the dead bugs so you are not looking up at that. Add Cushions on the outdoor patio furniture to make it more comfortable to enjoy the nice large terrace. Fresh batteries on the large clock in the living room so you actually know the time. One deep clean and it could be a much nicer place to rent.
