Not what I expected from Renaissance/Marriott!

Proximity to Billie Jean Kings USTA center.

I recently stayed at this hotel and encountered several issues that made my experience less than satisfactory. Parking: The parking situation was poor. I had to pay $38 per night for parking, which I found to be quite steep. Room Issues: The AC unit in my room was not working. Despite the engineer's efforts, it could not be fixed. When I initially requested an upgrade due to my elite status, I was told that the hotel was completely booked. However, once it became clear that the AC unit couldn't be repaired, multiple room options suddenly became available. This felt dishonest, as it seemed the hotel declined my earned upgrade out of greed but then offered options when faced with a maintenance issue. Additionally, the phone in the room was not functioning, forcing me to use my cell phone to contact the front desk about these problems. Dining Experience: The service at the steakhouse restaurant was subpar. It was evident that there was a staff shortage. Although the food was okay, everything else was a C-. The restaurant staff frequently passed our table without checking if we needed anything, and our drinks were served only after the food had already arrived. Overall, the combination of parking fees, room issues, and disappointing service at the restaurant made for a less than ideal stay.

Definetly will stay at this location the next time I am in town.

Room is very clean and comfortable. Great location to food and shopping.

The elevators were confusing. Some only goes to certain floors and others to all floors. Most of the floors don’t have the signage to state which elevators to take.

Amazing all around. Recommend to anyone

Loved absolutely everything, from the room to the club lounge, and the restaurant. Everything was top notch including the free breakfast which was excellent. Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating

Excelente opção!

O hotel SUPEROU as minhas expectativas. Staff super atencioso, bom café da manhã. A vista do restaurante para Manhattan é fantástica. Eu sou apaixonada pela cultura chinesa e, "quase" me senti na China dentro desse bairro fantástico. O bairro oferece várias opões de restaurantes asiáticos.

Ottima scelta per 1settimana

Posizione molto comoda per i servizi (30min di metro da Time Square) e la caratteristica comunità asiatica autentica. Camere molto bene arredate e insonorizzate. Staff molto gentile e colazione davvero buona. Lo consiglio!!

L'unica sbavatura riguarda la pulizia della camera.. con puntualità veniva sistemato il letto, la biancheria e i prodotti, ma non è mai stato pulito il pavimento o i bagni nonostante sia stato indicato in reseption.

Definitely recommend this hotel in Flushing, near the 7 train and LIRR and LaGuardia airport, near lots of delicious foo

Beautifully designed hotel with functional room features like hooks to hang up towels and clothes, and a curtain separating the bathroom area and the bed. The toilet and shower are separate, which is similar to how a lot of hotels are designed in Asia. The hotel is located above a mall, with lots of food options like a delicious hot pot place and Kura revolving sushi. Also have bubble tea and a food court for other options. Close to Che Li, a NY Times highly rated Chinese restaurant which I recommend booking in advance.

We got a room on the 11th floor which is the same level as the Lounge. We loved how accessible it was to the Lounge, but some guests talked really loudly and didn’t respect that it was 6 am while walking to the Lounge. Not the fault of the hotel, just something to note.

Pleasant stay in Flushing

Good size room with a view of the city and great shower. Nice size gym (plus a pool and a tennis court). Also a very pleasant rooftop terrace with view of Manhattan. Convenient if you need to be in Flushing, if you want a place near LaGuardia, Citifield and the U.S. Open, or if you're looking to save money on a stay in Manhattan (if you don't mind a lengthy train ride).

The WiFi requires agreeing online to a daily fee which is then refunded at checkout. This wasn't explained to me, and I didn't want to pay for WiFi, so I didn't have WiFi for my stay.

Good but caught covid

The staffs provide excellent services and friendly. Location is good and lots of nearby restaurants.

Few family members caught covid after the stay, need more sanitizing for the rooms. Also the open concept washroom/bathroom does not work well for family.

It would have been nice if they offered a shuttle service to citi field for the concert. We booked that location hoping it was within walking distance and it was really far to walk at 12:00 am.

I love to stay in a different place every time I visit NYC, so this one was a perfect choice.

The convenience and comfort. The location is close to the Mets stadium but far away from other more touristy spots.

The bar closes too early.

A short stay at a nice hotel, wished we could have stayed longer!

We had a pretty short stay but could not fault the hotel. The staff were very friendly and the hotel itself was very comfortable. The room was modern and beds were super comfy. We wished we had more time to enjoy the facilities and the room.

The reception is also accessed via a lift and a different lift is then used to access the rooms, which means you have to take 2 lifts to get to your room from the entrance. The area is also really busy into the late evening.

Superb

In the middle of Chinatown Flushing. Well equipped newish room. Rooftop terrace with a bar and music at the weekend. Complimentary glass of sparkling wine. Close to Subway and LIRR Station. Manhattan in 30-40 minutes.

Noisy air-co. Photos of a swimming pool which is not actually open, and so is misleading.

Beautiful hotel with some hiccups

Beautiful hotel and very clean. Loved the atmosphere

A/c in room was not good. Kept hitting ceiling and then coming down and hitting me in the face. I kept adjusting the vents but couldn't get it to stop hitting me. Also restaurant was pretty ridiculously over priced.

The pool is closed but per add page it didn’t say it was closed - the reason why i booked was to enjoy the pool.
