The Bella Vista boasts breath taking views of the Grand River Arm on Truman Lake and is a uniquely designed lake property perched above the trees gorgeous during all the seasons. Are you looking for that special getaway that offers not only a comfortable home but a unique design with gorgeous lake views? Check out our unique open concept home tucked into the towering white oaks along Truman Lake featuring a pentagon shaped living and dining area centered around a gorgeous floor to ceiling fireplace and cedar inlaid ceiling and beams. This design is built for entertaining and enjoying time with your friends and family. At over 2200 square feet of living space and almost 1000 square feet of outdoor deck space, everyone will have room to stretch out and truly enjoy the peace and beauty of this area. Perfect retreat for couples, fisherman, and small families. Boat parking available upon request. Sleeps 6 with two Queen bedrooms, a brand new custom built queen bed in the Four Season Room with 180° deck and lake views, and two full size futons in the main living room to accommodate for the kiddos or when single adults need individual beds. Wildlife abounds here with deer grazing below the deck, fox love to come traipsing through, and so many turtles to be heard crunching through the leaves. Birds of all kinds can be seen singing from the treetops or munching at the stocked bird feeders. This is a place for tranquility, relaxation, and time away from the hustle and bustle. Home has a strict guest count policy due to the limited water and septic systems. Please inquire privately for special requests. We do not allow the hosting of parties or events in an effort to respect the beauty, peace, and quiet of this area. You won’t have atv’s or golf carts running down the street all day like many lake communities as we are towards the end of a dead end road. There are no pets or animals permitted. If you’re looking for a pristine home that is a cut above with a beautiful view and almost 1000 square feet of outdoor entertaining area, The Bella Vista is for you!

We were looking for a place to unwind and relax and this place was just that. It had a great view of the lake with some comfy outdoor furniture to sit ini and drink coffee or cocktails while chatting and admiring the view (even with rain as it was a covered deck). It has plenty of room and a well equipped kitchen as well as a griddle on the deck where we did cooked up some brunches.
It is about 15 minutes from town (aka groceries, restaurants, etc) so not far. It is on a street with neighbors though if anybody is expecting it it be more secluded. The neighbor on one side was visible from where we sat on the deck most of our stay but it did not bother us either. We were pretty relaxed.
We would definitely recommend this place. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

I could not find the entry code all I had was TBD. We couldn’t get the gas grill to work but that might have been us not sure. We left ashes in the outside fireplace we would have cleaned them out but didn’t know what to do with them. Loved the place it was beautiful beyond my expectations

Our group of cousins gets together once a year for a weekend, just to hang out, laugh, play games, eat and carry on! We have decided to make this "our place"! The view is amazing! The deck is big and there is comfortable furniture on it to accommodate 6.
The house itself is beautiful, with a main bathroom you could almost live in and is very well stocked! Lol
Kitchen is well stocked.
Everything was very clean when we arrived and the hosts were quick to reply when I asked a question. I would give this more stars if I could! We will be back next year, Lord willing.

This place is phenomenal and the best view of the lake to take in from the screened in porch. Lots to offer their guest. Bring groceries and cook for your people on the patio that looks out over the lake. You will not want to leave!!!

We stayed here for a short weekend at the state fair. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay! Super clean, has everything you would need and then some. Aron & Jennifer were extremely easy to work with as well. I almost never give 10 ⭐️ rating but I definitely would for this place!

The house was beautiful plus the view from the deck was gorgeous! The host and hostess had everything stocked that you would need. We really enjoyed just setting on the deck in the mornings and evenings(or anytime)watching boats on the water. We also enjoyed using the grill and black stone grill. We hope to go back at sometime and recommend this house to stay at.

Our baby girl is less than a year old and my grandmother is 79. We picked this place so we would have a good time without needing to go anywhere else. It's a great view from the deck and the sunroom. Warsaw was close with a nice downtown area.

The Bella Vista did not disappoint! The home was very clean, nicely decorated, comfy beds, well stocked kitchen, lovely outdoor living space with gorgeous view of the lake and lots of seating for everyone to enjoy! The owners were very good with all communication and easy to work with. Will certainly plan a return trip.

This is a family friendly luxury home. We were able to enjoy the space without any problems. There are excellent cooking facilities both inside and on the deck. Having Roku on all televisions made streaming entertainment easy. Overall, we had a good experience.

As people arrived, the comment I kept hearing was “the pictures don’t do this place justice!” The amazing deck, view, and entire outdoor space were perfect. The beds were comfortable. The cleanliness level was impeccable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need. The owners thought of every detail to make it an enjoyable stay. Communication was prompt and check in was easy. We enjoyed many hours on the deck throughout the entire day -morning coffee to games in the evening at the lighted table. The fire pit in the evening was very enjoyable also. Plenty of room for our group. Only thing I would change is to increase our stay for a few more days, which we will keep in mind for next time.

It was great. They thought of everything. We are very picky about staying in places when we travel, and this was perfect!! Definitely a home away from home!! It was a great relaxing stay in a beautiful home with fabulous views of the lake! The house was very well setup and had everything plus more than what we needed! Aaron and Jennifer were excellent and very responsive hosts. Highly recommend their place if visiting Lake Truman!

My husband and I had to be in the Truman Lake area for the increasingly popular "workcation". He had to work and I got to cation with my mother. The internet worked just fine for what we needed.
The views are gorgeous. The house is very nice, clean and well maintained. The switches were all labeled which was very nice. The kitchen was the best stocked I have ever seen in a rental. There was a even a mixer and three crockpots of varying sizes.
There's only a couple things I would change. The first is the TV location. The high mounted tv gave us both instant neck strain. The second is the super tight tension on the storm doors. They were snapping back so fast and hard we kept tripping and getting hit. We are in our 60's though and not as strong as we used to be. BUT overall it is a great place and we would go back if we need to.

This house was beautiful and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds were wonderful, and communicating with the property manager was easy. They were very friendly and we had a great time!

The house is amazing and has so much room. It was perfect for our do nothing girls weekend! Beds were comfy lots of blankets and pillows for lounging. The deck was AMAZING!!!!!!!! They have everything you need! Love the fire pit and the grills outside if we wanted to use them!!!!! Would definitely recommend this place and can’t wait to go again!!!!!!

We had a great time exploring the area and loved our time at your rental. It was very relaxing. It appeared the thermostat was locked at 70* We got hot at night even with the ceiling fans in bedrooms. We weren't able to use ceiling fan in living room because of the noise it made. Our favorite spot was the deck overlooking the lake. Thank you for sharing your rental with us.

This lake view home was just what we needed for a weekend away. The hosts made check in and check out simple but went above and beyond with the home. Light switches were labeled so you knew what everything did, so helpful. As someone with food allergies, having a fully stocked kitchen was very helpful when eating in. But we did enjoy El Camino Real, a local Mexican restaurant. A great location to disconnect from the internet and busyness of life. The covered porch was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the colorful foliage or listen to the rain. They had anything you could think of from movies, books, and board games to blankets and condiments. The home was spotless and beautifully decorated, highly recommend.

Communication with Jennifer was great, very quick to respond to a question. House was great, the view of the lake was amazing. Highly recommend this as a vacation spot or weekend getaway. Grill, utensils, and everything you need for a nice evening. Very spacious deck to enjoy.

We really enjoyed our stay at your house. The house was perfect, nicely decorated. The furniture was very comfortable and so were the beds. There was plenty of entertaining space on the deck and/or sunroom. The view of the lake was spectacular. I would stay there again.

Even though the property wasn't listed as wheelchair accessible, from the pictures it looked like it could accommodate our needs. We were able to maneuver our daughter's small adult wheelchair within the house without much problem. (A larger chair would be a problem).
The house was very clean and nicely decorated and the kitchen was well equipped. The star attraction was the large covered deck with plenty of comfortable seating, a large dining table and a beautiful view of the lake that made us want to just sit and stare and make all of the cares of the world melt away.
The property hosts were very accommodating and answered all of our questions as well as gave us recommendations as to places to see and restaurants to try. We will definitely recommend this property to friends as well as stay here again ourselves, if we ever venture back this way.

We can’t say enough good things about staying at this property. Everything about the experience was wonderful. It was very clean, they had it stocked with anything you might need. They even have a washer and dryer! The hosts provide great communication and instructions about the property and do all they can to make your experience a great one. The house is so beautiful, the beds are comfy, but I just just can’t overstate the spectacular view you have from the home and the massive deck! You could come here any time of the year and have a getaway with memories to treasure! We’ll definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay. The hosts were very attentive. The home was lovely and we spent a ton of time on the huge deck looking at the AMAZING views. The home was spotless, well furnished and the beds were very comfortable. Looking forward to the next time we can stay at this property!

I can't say enough good things about this home and the owner. The house is as good or better than our home. I loved the layout. The furnishings were not your usual VRBO stuff which is hand me down, yard sale type. The furnishings are really nice, the bed was super comfortable and the linens some of the softest we've had. We loved the deep tub.
The owner is super accommodating and helpful and the communications were great. The view was fabulous and the street is super quiet. I think 5 cars passed the whole time we were there. If you want a quiet, lovely retreat, then this is the place to stay. We really want to come back in another season to spend time in the 4 season room and on the wonderful deck.
If you want a marvelous place to stay, then stay here. I highly recommend it and would give it 15 stars on a rating of 5.
