This was our 17th anniversary, I was hoping for a better experience, the photos of the property were very good on your website, the reality was different. The room we were allocated was about 5 feet below street level, the noise from the street was very bad we can here all passersby, cars etc., we had to keep the blind shut all the time. the room, #101, was by far the worst room in the hotel, it was clean for sure, but furniture, paint, decoration remind me of the 70th hostel in Europe. The worse thing is the "veting" process I had to endure with Sonder to be able to be approved for a check in code, I was obliged scanned my ID and went through this unnecessary, rediculece "mug shot" processes, to be told 5 days before the trip that I need to restar it all over again, I had to send a copy of my passport, which I didn't want to do. It was too late to cancel or get a different hotel. all I can say is my inability to check the property or even get the address before hand was my mistake, I should have insisted on seeing it first. I would have stayed in a different place for sure.
