There were lots of wonderful things about our stay! Location, mainly, but lots of amenities,clean house,the kayaks,canoe,SUP and lily pad made it a huge success. We saw manatees almost every time we went paddling! The house is even privacy fenced all the way to the water, so it is very private...EXCEPT for the cameras and the Ring system. If you stay here, you need to know that there is a camera on the outside downstairs pointing at the main outdoor recreation area on the water. I understand it is to protect the owners property, but I feel like I was surveilled on vacation. The other outside cameras didn't bother us, but you may want to reconsider if you value your privacy. Also, I burned the bacon in the oven one day and nearly had a mental breakdown from the RING fire alarm. There was also a smoke detector in the house, which was the regular kind and manageable. The RING alarm was ear piercing and would not quit going off even after unplugging it because it has batteries. The fire dept called, and came anyway even though we told them what happened. The sheriff called the owner, the owner called me, and it was really just a HUGE fiasco over burnt bacon and a little-not a lot-of smoke. Also, listing should state washcloths not included. We had three washcloths. There were four of us for a week. Says Linens/Towels provided, and towels and beach towels were provided, nice ones. BUT, we each use a clean one every day! I had to buy them. It was a very nice vacation all in all!!

The home was comforting and supplied everything we needed. If we decide to escape to weeki wachee again, this will be the home we choose to stay at.

This adorable house is perfectly situated on a quiet canal a short paddle away from the main river. The river is gorgeous and we swam and paddled every day with the provided equipment. The dock, decks and grill at the house were perfect for evening relaxing. The kitchen had everything that we needed to cook (I love to cook) and It was exactly what we needed! PS-we saw manatees every day that we were on the river!

We had a blast. The house is adorable especially the gorgeously updated master bedroom and the huge master bathroom is a stunner. Well appointed kitchen and the home boasts everything you need to stay entertained. Dawn and Greg were the best hosts and went out of their way for us and all our requests. We will definitely be back and we’ve shared the property with all our friends who saw our pictures!

Don’t even hesitate to book this place! It was in the perfect location to the river! Easy couple minutes paddle to the clear water river! We saw manatees at the dock almost every day! They really have thought of everything you would need here! The dock was perfect, the kayaks, paddle board, canoe and water mat were in excellent shape. The house was super clean and all beds and couches were comfortable. Kitchen fully stocked and beautiful bathrooms and even an outdoor shower! Our family loved our stay and will definitely be back!

This property goes above and beyond in any category you could list. Home is immaculate. Every little detail is above and beyond. The Kayaks were better than most out there. My only regret was not being able to stay longer and enjoy more of it! Thanks for the stay Greg and Dawn, hope to back!!

We showed up and the house and could not believe how clean and perfect it was. The location of the house is perfect. One block away from the crystal clear blue weeki wachee river. AC was not working when we had showed up and the property manager was quick to respond and get it fixed. This vacation was perfect and we will definitly be back again.

The house was so clean and comfortable. Being on the water with the variety of kayaks and other water toys was so easy and fun! We had such a great time. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you, Greg!

We enjoyed a very peaceful and comfortable week at the house, spending lots of time observing birds from the covered porch and dock, kayaking out right from the house, riding bikes to the river, doing yoga, and having movie nights. Greg was very communicative, and the house was clean and cozy and had everything we needed and more.

We will definitely stay here again! This home was super clean, very cozy, and it had all the amenities we needed! Our family stayed here to enjoy the river and visit with local family. The kayaks provided were perfect! We saw manatees, deer, lots of fish and amazing birds every morning on our ride up stream! We also enjoyed coffee in the lanai each morning, and roasted marshmallows at night in the backyard. Beds were super comfy, kitchens well equipped, showers were big and roomy, and neighborhood was super cute! Owners we’re very responsive and easy to work with! Awesome property.

We had such a lovely, relaxing time in this very spacious and well appointed home. Everything about it made for a very easy, and very pleasant, stay - communication with the host, finding the property, access into the home, all of the amenities within the home, the comfortable bed, the relaxing screened in porch, access to the kayaks, the quiet canal with the river just a short paddle away - just wonderful! Highly recommend!

We have stayed many places and truly this one is special. The decor and amenities were perfect, everything needed for our stay was provided. Quick access to Weeki Wachee springs and easy to launch our kayaks from dock. A beautiful place we will likely return to...thank you Greg & Dawn for a perfect getaway!

This property was in an excellent location whether in a kayak or vehicle! It was great to have kayaks available for use and launch them right off the dock of the house. It was a short paddle to beautiful spring water as well as Roger’s Park. Absolutely beautiful home!

What a great spot on the river!!! The house had everything we needed and enjoyed every moment from start to finish!

We loved all the upgrades inside the house. It was very quiet and relaxing. Bed was super comfy. Easy communication with the owners. Husband suggests a fish cleaning table out by the dock. We will defiantly be coming back to visit.

We had so much fun on our vacation! We used all the water toys and kayaked till we couldn’t. The best time was an evening trip on the river. It was quiet and we saw 6 manatees! The house was perfectly set up. Next time I won’t pack as much. I hope we can make it back again!

We were so excite to find this place. It was very spacious and clean. The property had EVERYTHING we needed. We used the kayaks, canoe and the new paddle board daily. The property was conveniently located with a 5-10 minute paddle to the clear waters of the spring. We saw the Mermaid Show at Weeki Wachee State Park and even saw a couple of manatees while on the spring and at the dock. The property manager was pleasant and helpful. We would love to visit again.

We had the best time at this property! They have it so well stocked with all of the essential you could need and all of the Fun toys to have the best time on the river. Communication was top notch and super friendly. We can not wait to come back!

The home is perfect. Rooms are updated and very clean property. We enjoyed all aspects of the house. A short jaunt to Tampa and Crystal River for play.

This place comes with everything that was listed on VRBO. Easily access to everything (the main river, stores, restaurants (hot pot place was the bomb!). The whole place was clean, with enough towels and blankets for us 4. The kitchen was fully equipped (seasonings, ziplock bags, k cups, and other stuff). We left some things behind, and it was a breeze to communicate with the owners to retrieve those items. We will stay here again.

We were throughly impressed with this property. I traveled alone with my two teenage boys who were skeptical of a “paddle” centered vacation. I could hardly keep them off the water. We paddled all day and made it to the couch each evening by 6pm entertained by various streaming possibilities. The boys said “this was the best vacation we have EVER taken!” Kitchen is fully equipped. Paddle vessel options were plentiful. We plan to return.

As FL natives we have been to the Weeki Wachee park before but staying on the water was an amazing upgraded experience! I was hesitant to book on a canal but it did not take away from the experience at all! It was a quick paddle to the main waterway and right at the entrance to “our block” is a little sandbar where people gather. A manatee family even followed us all the way to the house! Tips: check for spiders in outdoor shower, pack bug spray for your paddle & the reusable container policy at the park is strictly enforced! We did work remotely a few days and it was fine at the house but the moment you drive away you lose cell service so complete all work calls at the house. The house was clean and up to date. Check in/out was easy. A stress free trip! Would book again. I asked my husband what he would add to the review and he said, “I liked the grill.”

The owners provided us with everything from kayaks to life vests to floats, we had access to the grill. The seasonings for cooking. Th owners also left us a lil welcoming gift some beers for the Guys and wine for the girls. This place was just super amazing. Everything was close to the house. Less than 20 mins away. When I read about the kayaks I read it was one double and two singles but when we arrived it looks like they went out and bought another double so that was nice if they did. Lol I’d like to think so. They were super nice on the phone when we needed to ask them a few questions l. The house it located right on the springs so it’s just a 10/15 kayak ride to the area that is less deep. Beautiful place I loved it. I saved the place to my favorites because we definitely would be coming back again!!! Thank you so much!!!!
