Location and Decor. A very pleasant house with lots of lovely things to do around Wigtown
The poach needs some work, it has rot so smells but you are only there a moment. The sofa was a wee bit uncomfortable. Maybe some bigger cousins would help. We brought a couple of pillows down.

The house was lovely, well laid out and comfortable. The log fire and outdoor area were a definite bonus
The house is well situated for shops and exploring the area
The stairs were difficult for my disabled husband but he managed them with help

The location was excellent as well as the house was decorated & fitted out to a very good standard. Great thought went into all the fittings
I would find it hard to say anything bad at all about it. The only thing would have been helpful would have been a downstairs toilet.

The house was modern and well appointed with plenty of room for the biggest of families. The location was quiet but within easy walking distance of Cafes and the local chip.shop. The house had numerous ensuite facilities and even benefited from a bath. The house is centrally heated and also has a lovely solid fuel fire in the lounge. All in all a really lovely house.
The TV had limited channels a situation that detracted from our enjoyment of the house on rainy days and nights. There was Internet access but the addition of freesat would be beneficial.

Great location especially for visiting the bookstores. Large rooms, very well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, good facilities - just what we needed.

The house is on the centre of Wigtown. Brilliant location. Parking on street over the road. Gorgeous bathrooms. Fabulous kitchen. Log burner. Quiet and cozy while being contemporary. Generous bedrooms.

The property was absolutely beautiful- the rooms were all really good sizes, the bathrooms were huge, showers were amazing! The kitchen was fully equipped with everything needed, plus extras like a coffee machine and fully cleaning products if needed at all. There was a beautiful log burner and the location was perfect for us as we have family just up the road. Fantastic communication from the moment we booked and can’t wait to visit again!
The beds were a little hard to our liking but that was the only downside to the entire property.

very nicely decorated throughout, comfortable and clean.
patio area was perfect sun trap for basking in the glorious Scottish sunshine and sipping the chilled complimentary wine.

Nothing! Would benefit from kitchen scissors and a pizza cutter, items which may have been available but have vanished?
And the pots weren’t great but did the job.

The house is amazing. Modern facilities but with all the old furniture and hints of the original house. Wigtown is a lovely little town close to the water too. The views are amazing.
We had everything we needed. Would have been nice to have a brush and dustpan though instead of having to pull out the hover all the time.
