Located in Key Colony Beach, this attractive house for $422 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. STR21-000102 MUST BE 25 OR OLDER TO RENT Seven night minimum - NO EXCEPTIONS. (set by KCB) Max Occupancy: 7 (NO MATTER THE AGE - this rule is set by the City of Key Colony Beach which states 1 person per 200 sqft - NO EXCEPTIONS **Property is Not handicap accessible Sleeping: 7 (there are 2 kings, 1 double & 1 twin - sleeper sofa) *********SATURDAY TO SATURDAY ONLY ************ Live in the American Caribbean here at our vacation home on 10th Street where it's sunny and warm! Outside on the patio, you can enjoy the canal for fishing or docking your boat at the 37.5 foot dock. If you catch fish, you'll appreciate the fish cleaning station with running water right on the dock, and bait freezer in the garage. Plenty of poles are available for your use as well! If you're not an ocean person, you'll enjoy privileges at the Cabana Club with a large, beautiful pool, hot tub, private beach, outdoor showers, game room and outdoor tiki bar for food and drinks. Sunset Park is a short walk from our home and not only provides beautiful views but also has a pier. Open living area includes a large sitting room with television, dining room and kitchen with vaulted ceilings. The dining area is separated from the kitchen with an island that is a great place to use your computer with free Wi-Fi. The kitchen with granite counter tops is outfitted with all you need to cook or you can use the, new in the fall of 2022, propane grill out on the patio. Two double sliding glass doors let the sun shine in for a bright, clean, tropical view. Large plants around the patio area and a fence between the duplex units give you plenty of privacy. The master suite has a king size bed and a private bath with double sinks and a large walk in shower. The middle bedroom has a double and a twin bed. Two closets in this room give you plenty of storage. The 3rd bedroom also has a king size bed. The middle and third bedrooms have 32 inch flat screen Roku TVs. New mattresses and bedding throughout. There are multiple ceiling fans throughout the house. The entire house was also recently painted. We open our home to all guest to enjoy and to share a wonderful experience in the Heart of the Florida Keys . There is immediate access to either the ocean or the gulf via Vaca Cut close to the end of our canal. This property is not handicap accessible. The garage is for storage ONLY. NO RVS OR MOTOR HOMES. This property can hold up to 3 vehicles if no trailers, if bringing a trailer then 1 trailer and up to 2 vehicles will fit. There is optional storage through Key Colony Beach City Hall for $100 per week located on 8th street. CITY OF KEY COLONY BEACH ONLY ALLOWS FOR ONE TRAILER AT A RENTAL PROPERTY. Other amenities in Key Colony include walking and bike paths. Restaurants, bars, and shopping are all within walking distance of our home. There are bocce ball courts, a 3 par golf course, a playground for the kids, tennis courts and world class charter boats available. Boat rentals are also available Rental cars are available at the Marathon Airport which is about 4 miles from the house. Taxi service is available all over the island at a very reasonable flat rate. Key West is about one hour away. Ft. Lauderdale and Miami are about two and a half hours away. We've tried to make this home as complete and easy to use as possible for your best vacation ever whether you stay for a week or a month! Our house has been cleaned and will be cleaned after each guests departs following CDC Covid 19 guidelines . We do require a signed rental agreement , a copy of drives license per city regulations and waiver for liability for use of bikes and watercraft before can accept a booking

What an amazing first time staying in the Marathon area!! When I booked, I had no idea what Key Colony Beach was like! We absolutely loved it to say the least!! Carolyn was the best host!! She was very responsive with any questions we had!! The kitchen was fully stocked with anything you need to cook up your favorite meals! Lots of closet space to get things out of suitcases and a pantry to put any groceries we purchased. The beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of towels! Our son and his wife went out on the kayak and spotted a couple manatee. I’ll also add that the neighbor was very friendly which makes for a really nice stay! The Key Colony community was so nice and relaxed! We loved getting in our steps everyday and seeing all the other residents doing the same! The restaurants and bars in walking distance were perfect for us and the Cabana Club was a nice added bonus as well! We would definitely love to stay here again!

Everything was as pictured and described. If we could have given it a ten we would have! House was amazing, Beds were comfortable, bikes were great and owners were very helpful. We love the Key Colony Beach community. It had a lot to offer with pool, beach and places to eat and drink without having to leave. Hope to be back soon. Thanks so much!! The Three Retired Couples

It was an absolutely amazingly beautiful place. The house was perfect and exactly what we needed. We love this key so much. Going to the cabana club was such an added bonus. And we really loved the fishing poles and the kayaks and seen so much wildlife like bull sharks stingrays and little minnows right by the dock. The neighbor Brian is amazing and gave us shrimp to fish with multiple times. Really great area. We can’t wait to go back and really enjoyed ourselves bringing in the new year.

We stayed here over Christmas as a group of 7, ranging from teenagers to 60+. There was plenty of room for everyone, and the house was stocked nicely. We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor space on the canal, the location was excellent, and the neighbors were very friendly. We only used the cabana club once, but it was a nice added benefit. We went to sunset park nightly to enjoy the sunset with many other people. The only cons were; The bikes were not serviceable (one had a flat tire, the other two had loose handlebars and no tools to make quick fixes), there was only 1 lifejacket for the 2 kayaks, and the beds were creaky and not super comfortable. All in all we would definitely stay here again.

We absolutely love this house! There was plenty of room for all of us to spread out. We had three 18 year olds and one 15 year old, plus my husband and I. I don’t have anything negative to say. The house and property were very clean and well taken care of. I have been coming to the keys since I was a kid. Now I bring mine every year!

The house was beautiful, the kitchen was my favorite part. The open floor plan made it so easy to all be together throughout the day. The property owner was very nice and easy to get ahold of if needed. The only issues were the two king size beds were not the most comfortable, and they squeaked everytime someone moved. Overall though I would totally recommend this property. My family and I had an amazing trip.

The property was very clean and welcoming. Alan was very responsive and helpful before and during our stay. The location on Marathon Key was convenient, we travelled from one end of the keys to the other during our stay. On Marathon itself we fished, did scuba diving, snorkeling, visited the beaches, rode bikes and kayaked. The house had bikes for the 4 of us as well as 2 kayaks which we enjoyed. Overall a great stay, clean place, nice location and helpful host.

We had a lovely time here! The house was cute, well maintained and in a great, quiet location. The neighbors and locals were friendly and welcoming. Walking distance to Sunset Beach and the Cabana Club. The bikes needed some TLC but otherwise excellent all around! Alan was responsive and helpful, great VRBO experience. Thanks!

We really loved staying here. The layout gave us room to spread out if needed yet still be all together. We loved having access to beach chairs and bikes. We also loved being on the water and being able to grill lunch. 5/5 for sure. If I was giving constructive feedback for improvements: 1. Master bedroom bed squeaks with every movement. 2. Bikes could use a tune up but honestly they are probably hard to maintain in the climate down there (we really loved having them to bop around) 3. This is the one that would be top of the list... the neighbor across the canal has a motion spotlight that shines right on the back porch...it goes off every min or two (maybe because it was so windy??) it really needs to be pointed to the water, dimmed or turned off. Overall we loved it and absolutely would go back!!

We absolutely loved our stay. The house was perfect for our trip. The rooms were nice & spacious and the house clean and well maintained. Being on the water was great, We had a boat for the week and access to the Gulf and Atlantic was easily accessible. The home was well stocked with everything we required. Also, the neighbors were very friendly which is always nice. Great stay all around.
