Dore village itself is just a 5-minute walk, and steeped in history being the location of a battle fought for England’s Crown. There are also good local shops, including a small supermarket, delicatessen, butchers, bank with multi cash point, hairdressers and of course a fish and chip shop. In addition, Sheffield has all the shopping and entertainment a good city offers, and for those wanting to leave the car at home is a direct 10-minute train journey from Dore station, which is located just 1½ miles from the door.
