The service at the front desk was exceptional. The room was clean and I was given a high floor with great views .
The breakfast buffet food was tasty , fresh , warm and they served Starbucks coffee for only $10 .
The main problem was the room was very outdated , the furniture and bathroom showed signs of wear and tear. Given the price of the room $300 per night seemed overpriced for the quality of the room .

Nice staff. Facility is run down and dingy. Not comfortable nights sleep

Went during Boston Marathon weekend. This hotel is located close to Cambridge. Also it’s fairly close to Fenway. It right on the Charles River. Not a lot around this property as far as night life, you have to Uber to places. The staff was great! This property has a Teppan Grill restaurant, which I have never seen in other Courtyards. Kinda cool. They also give you a voucher for $32 a day to spend at the restaurant. The breakfast bar was fine, not great, but did its job!

Had an issue with the heat but they moved me to another room and refunded some of the cost without me asking. the rest of the stay was wonderful!

We love Marriott hotels, and I was in Boston for a few days for work. The hotel is great, clean, and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We had a problem with the heating system and were offered a second room with a great view! We loved that, but the heating system didn't work either. We just figured out our stay the best way possible as we didn't want to move again.

Lots of hidden fees. 2 nights ended up being 568. Resort fees were 64 bucks. The hotel restaurant charged us 45 bucks for 10 lousy pieces of sushi. Feel rippe off.

The stay was fine, but a 32 resort fee (with credit that we didn’t use) and 45 parking both seemed very high.

Amazing service

The corridor between the elevator and room is soooo cold. The front desk staff can be more enthusiastic. The air conditioner in the room is a bit too loud

The hotel is within a mile of the campus and Cambridge downtown. The staff at the hotel was very friendly, room was quiet. Nice view of the City. The bathroom in my room could use updating. Old shower and tub. The shower was hard to turn on where it’s controlled at the tub faucet.

Well to start you have to pay $45 for parking so wasn’t happy about that. Then I messaged the hotel asking for a room that had a good view of the city which they said they would put in the notes for me. We got a room on the 2nd floor right over the front door entrance. It was so noisy cars coming and going plus car alarms going off and every time someone turned on the water it was so loud it woke us both up. Not to mention the first room they gave us was a smaller room then what I paid for. The wasn’t a good visit for us and will be the last to this hotel.

Such a lovely place to stay! Judit at the front desk was especially helpful with recommendations and directions. The views of the Boston skyline from our room were amazing!

Beautiful view from the room, good location that was pretty central to where we were going to be. Bed was not super comfortable and there were spme additional fees tact on (destination fee) we receiced vouchers for breakfast or the sushi house but we were there to explore the foods in the neighborhoods.
Had we known of the fee we may have selected another hotel.
The market place had very limited selection in comparison to other courtyard marriotts we've been in as well.
It wasn't a bad experience, it was comfortable, just felt expensive for what it was.

Our heat was set to 78 in the room and could not be changed by ourselves. If we wanted it comfortable to sleep we would have had to call the front desk at midnight & wait for them to come upstairs, super unacceptable in a room that you paid for in my opinion. My only other complaint is that housekeeping doesn’t do a great job checking your rooms before arrival, I noticed as soon as I entered my smoke detector was covered with a shower cap & tied in place with a phone charger! The past guests were smoking in the room & I hate to think if I didn’t notice that & point it out I would’ve gotten blamed for it.

The heat system of the room didn’t work. I along with my family, a 4yr old and 6month old had to sleep in cold room first night.
Room was changed the second nighy

Considering the price, 1, they didn't even provide bottled water each day after the check-in day (2 were provided). So we need to buy somewhere else by ourselves, which sometimes was inconvenient. 2, And, they didn't have a locker in the room, which is important for some customers. 3, I heard other customers met in the bar said the parking was expensive. Yes, but it is expensive everywhere :(.

This location was not far from Fenway or the airport. The hotel sits near the water and a nice little neighborhood. There is a Trader Joe’s within walking distance. My room was large with a window that opened up for fresh air. The bed was comfortable and extra blankets were provided in the closet.
I was surprised by the $25 destination fee. They do give you a coupon to use at one of the on site restaurants; therefore getting that money back. Since it was my first time here and had little time to spend in Boston, I ate in the downtown area. I went to a concert and was gone before the breakfast service. Therefore, couldn’t use the coupon.
The hotel is not at fault for this part. I found it difficult to get a rideshare to and from the hotel. When I left the concert, it was almost 30 min for a ride to pick me up. I opted to make the 41 minute walk back to the hotel; it was lovely. Found the same thing in the morning when trying to get to the airport. Make sure to make extra time for this.

Hotel was great. The person checking me in was very unfriendly, but otherwise it was a good stay. Towels are very small and thin.

We loved staying here! The staff was super friendly and helpful. The location is super easy to get to and close to both Harvard and downtown. Right by the water, great view of the city as well. Gated parking which is wonderful and safe. Trader Joes is the building right next to it and a Walgreens/Wholefoods is within in 10 minutes walking distance. Extremely convenient. The cleaning staff was so thorough and kind. Only dislike is that parking is 45 DOLLARS A NIGHT. Great otherwise.

Beds and furniture were extremely firm and uncomfortable. You could literally stand on both the beds and the chairs and neither would give. It was like sleeping on a rock it was so hard that the floor might have been softer.

Amazing customer service. Great location if walking to DT. Room was basic but fulfilled all our needs. I’d definitely stay here again.
