An overall good experience at Beke in Budapest; breakfast is the top notch of the Hotel, while the personell at reception could be slightly more incline to customer service Hotel location is quite good for walking around the city.

I stayed here for 3 nights and was very impressed. The hotel is very clean, has great facilities and lots of common space. It was all going so well, until I took a meal at the restaurant upon checking out, and it was very bad. I couldn't eat any of it. I felt obliged to say something when it came to paying as I had barely touched the food, and the waiter couldn't care less. Nor could the reception staff when I mentioned it. Bottom line: definitely stay here, but avoid eating at the restaurant at all costs

I am extremely pleased. I've traveled to 36 countries and lived in five and must say this hotel exceeds my needs and desires yet for an extremely reasonable rate. I am a 65-year-old female who drove alone into Budapest from Germany. The sitting area is great! Two comfortable chairs with a table you can work from or eat from at the right height. The TV is huge with all the information you need for the hotel from room service to laundry, transportation, maps, etc. The coffee/tea station is super. The beds are very comfortable and the bathroom is well appointed, and nicely sized with a large deep tub with an excellent shower head and strong water pressure. Parking [P] was a breeze. Enter from the very small one-way street from the rear of the hotel. You'll see a small [P] for underground parking. Take the Elevator to the ground [0/E] floor to reception and you're in your beautiful room right away. The staircase is magnificent. Thanks for a great stay! E. Shoemaker

Sorry but the Room was really poor! The wallpaper has come off the wall as well as the frame of the mirror and the faucet had stains. What was a bit unfortunate was that the lady in the dining room wanted to clear the table, even though we hadn't finished eating, with the hint that breakfast time was over: hospitality is different!

We have a good time, and the staff was very friendly.

Wonderful stay for four nights! Rooms are a little small, but nicely designed, with a fridge (no minibar in ours), coffee maker, a huge TV at the end of a comfy bed and a round table with two chairs in the corner for hanging. The tv is wired for sound in the bathroom so you can listen to your own connected device or whatever's on tv. The linens were fresh and high-end. The lighting in the bathroom was flattering, instead of that fluorescent, scary situation. The common rooms downstairs off the lobby were very nice and welcoming to those who needed to work. Great cakes in the cafe. I recommend the Esterhazy if you like walnut. Didn't have breakfast there, so can't speak to that. The only reason that I didn't give the hotel a perfect mark is that the shower, although beautiful/luxurious, needed some attention as there was some mildew and it didn't drain properly. Overall, though, wonderful hotel and will stay there again!

Horrendous stay. Specifically made request in writing & while checking in for a quiet room. Needed a solid rest. Janus placed me on second floor, directly above a bar. I didn’t realize until night that the street below was filled with loud drunks all night. Already unpacked and didn’t have energy to change rooms. Only got 3 hours of sleep. This hotel must give hotels.com bookings the worst rooms intentionally, and this was completely unacceptable!

Our experience was excellent, right from the arrival when we were able to access our room at midday to helping to restore our Radisson membership and organising a taxi at 4am on the day we left. We appreciated the coffee in our room and breakfast was very nice. Thank you.

For our stay the location and cost we’re crucial. And this hotel provided great quality and has a great location. We had a room on the upper floors and that kept out most of the street noise. The bed was very comfortable and the furnishings were better than some 5 star hotels. A taxi can pull right up to the front door and the public transportation is two minutes away. To improve we would suggest improving the evening restaurant situation. The menu is very limited and overpriced. You are forced to dine elsewhere and there are few good restaurants within easy walking distance.

The hotel is clean, functional and in good condition. The location is ok, but some walking or use of transportation will be needed to get to sights etc. The area is a bit dark and not particular appealing (a bit run down,no interesting shops, cafés, restaurants nearby). The staff was very friendly, though, responding quick to any request, speaking perfect english and always polite. The breakfast was also very good. And it is a plus that there is a decent coffe machine in the room. The biggest drawback was the heat in the room. It was incredibly warm and stuffed in the room, which made us loose a lot af sleep. There was aparently nothing to be done except opening the window facing the boulevard (which is noisy). The window, however, was locked and couldn't be opened without asking for for permission in the reception. The friendly staff did open the window for us, but it seems a bit silly that guest cannot open windows in the room without special permission a staff coming to open and later close the window. Luckily the staff forgot to get back and lock it again. It might just be that 25 celcius is normal room temperature in Budapest (many other places, cafees, museums etc. where also extremely warm inside), but it was a big minus for us. Overall it was an ok experience with nothing to complain about except for the warm room, but we will probably try a different hotel next time we are in budapest.

Rooms have TVs that supposedly can only be used if you use Android, they don’t have HDMIs available and don’t look into the accuracy of the information to give you accurate info. We paid for 2 days of breakfast and for some reason they didn’t add us to the list and the woman that checked people in would not let us (and another person who had the same issue) go in - be aware she could’ve simlply written down our room number and confirm or worst case scenario charge us. We had to wait because she didn’t know what to do and reception wouldn’t pick up the phone when she called. Ordered dessert to the room but the person I spoke with at reception could not tell me what the cake had, “some type of chocolate cake”, there’s a massive variety of chocolate cakes and people are allergic to stuff, he was extremely rude at me simply asking what I was literally ordering and paying for had. We stayed for 6 nights and had no to - it’s a pretty pricy hotel. The customer service WAS AWFUL, oh and when they would clean the rooms they would forget to replace the dirty spoons or mugs, forget to leave coffee, creamer or sweetener. AWFUL for the price.

Peter the receptionist was amazing, very pleasure and warm. All thebother staff was friendly and welcoming but Peter stood out. Thw hotel and very clean and sanitized. We enjoyed our stay there thoroughly.

I stayed here for the duration of my Budapest trip and I must say it has been quite a good stay. The staff are polite and always on hand to help. The property is quite clean although housekeeping could be slightly better.

The hotel is newly renovated, very clean and comfortable, conveniently located to all attractions and rail road which is very quiet and not crowded. You don't even know that it is there. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is delicious and very generous with food variety. Only the cleaning lady who was serving our room was very brief with tidiness and forgetful about wash cloths and water. Otherwise we had a great experience!
