Place was clean, affordable and accross the street from the Lake Michigan. Great location for stop over.

We only stopped for a night on the way through so this was good enough for a place to sleep. The room looks like it has been updated, though there was a gap under the door where a few mosquitos were able to get into the room. Not a big deal in the summer but it should probably have some weather strips added before winter. The breakfast was very basic - one waffle maker, some donuts and cereal, coffee and juice - but it works for a quick meal. There's a trail if you want to walk to the lighthouse pier.

Our one night stay was acceptable. The only thing was that when we went to the complimentary morning breakfast at 8:00 which was stated that they open at 7:00 there were no lights on. We could not find a light switch, no one at desk. Everything was set up and ready and fresh, so we ate in the dark.

Very clean. Great continental breakfast. There were nice seasonal decorative touches in the lobby and dining area. Location was nice: right across the street is Lake Michigan with a boardwalk. Downsides were a very firm mattress which made it harder for me to sleep. The shower drained poorly: three inches of water at my feet and the lock to the slider was broken: came off in my hands when trying to secure. The desk clerk came right over, however, with a hand drill and fixed it. Apparently, it was not installed properly.

Very outdated motel. Staff was super nice and helpful. No coffees service in room. Breakfast ehhh. No eggs but turkey sausage palatable. Staff of one ( 1 ). Trying her best to literally do everything!! She was checking in and out while making breakfast and cleaning rooms all simultaneously.

We were pleasantly surprised. This was a great property and the price was the best we found. The breakfast was better than some of the other locations we stayed.

For an older property, this was cleaner than many we've stayed in. Dena was very helpful with a change in our reservation. Rooms are spacious and lots of cable channels. Call the hotel directly if you have any questions. It is across the street from a boardwalk that you can walk 1.8 miles to the Manistique Lighthouse. Big grocery store nearby.

We liked the availability of 24 hour coffee. We especially appreciated being able to choose decaf coffee and the ability to mix the 2 kinds of coffee.

Front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. Gave us ideas for sightseeing. The hotel was clean, comfortable and quiet. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

While right across from the great Manistique Boardwalk, the front desk person noticed how tired I was from driving all day. He chose to put my husband and myself on a "back room" instead of one that faced the street. SOOOOOO quiet. The room is oversized, spotlessly clean, well appointed, and the bed has high count sheets. Additionally, the same person suggested two different dining choices. We followed his suggestions and had a grand dinner before returning to the hotel. We will share this great inn with others.

Pleasantly surprised at this hotel! Very large room, comfortable bed, good breakfast. The only thing was the shower temperature, started out very hot and after a few minutes cool water was only available. But I would recommend staying here!

Stayed here because it was about $100 cheaper than the Comfort Inn down the street. The room had a strange smell, and was a bit musty and dark. Things appeared clean on the surface but could really use a deep clean of the curtains, carpet, etc. Overall it did the job for a quick 2 night stay. Sonny at the front desk was friendly and helpful.
