Everything was very mice

Hotel was generally good and had a Texas Steakhouse with a nice bar on the first floor. Complimentary breakfast was kind of lame, and a family in front of me left very disappointed. There was a lot of construction going on at the time. Good access to the highway though.

This hotel was sorry. No cabinets in the bathroom to hold personal items. Very undesirable. Forget eating in the restaurant, took 2 hours to be served. Never again will we stay that this hotel. Not worth the time or money. This was a hospital surgery visit.

I was injured while staying at this property and after notifying the staff on duty no one came to check on me nor did they call. As a result, of this injury I am now on crutches with a knee brace.

The quality of this property is poor. Construction in the hallways in unappealing. My room (226) featured damaged furniture, old fixtures and 2 drawers that would not close properly. Additionally, there was no housekeeping provided. I would not recommend business travelers to stay at this property.

Hotel was super old and outdated. It was giving motel vibes. I paid for a king bed and get two queen beds. The first room was dirty so I got a new room. There was water stains on the ceiling, blood on the walls, food on the carpet. I was so uncomfortable and dissatisfied .

A middle aged property that needs updating. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Really nice TV. There was paint peeling in numerous places in the hotel; the faucet in my room was very loose and the toilet was one of those small, cheap models. These things detracted from an otherwise very nice stay.
There was no free breakfast offered but the snack bar was well stocked and Texas Restaurant was connected and offered all 3 meals. I would definitely stay here again.

I thought Double Trees were supposed to be one of the nicer hotels but this particular one was not. The faucet for the tub did not work properly nor did the faucets at the sink work correctly. We ate at the restaurant attached to the hotel which was terrible as well.

Property needs renovation. Everything was either broken or old. My room looked like someone kicked the room and bathroom door down. Rust on all the doors. Bathroom outdated. Toilet didn’t flush properly.

The beds were comfortable and the rooms were good. But cleaning could have been a lot better. There were crumbs all around the perimeter of the room and on the chairs. The sink and bathtub were not cleaned

Couldn’t make it due to personal issues. Got charged full price without even a phone call. They didn’t try reaching us or anything. I’ve worked the front desk of 2 5 star hotels in Miami. We’d never charge a guest without calling them first. When myself and Expedia tried reaching out no one would answer or talk to us

Good overnight stay. It was quiet & comfortable. Front desk staff pleasant and helpful. Breakfast buffet recommended at adjacent restaurant was awful. Cold, rubber eggs and tasteless coffee.

It seemed as if there was a major issue with the heat in building as most of it felt like it wasn’t working at all. The overall cleanliness was sub par and our toilet looked like it was pieced together from 3 different toilets. Carpets in the hallways were stained and needing replacement. It kinda felt like the place was going out of business.
They ran out of breading in the attached restaurant so menu choices were limited.

Driving from MA to FL and stopped for the night; just wanted a clean and quiet place to sleep; the hotel was dirty and approaching a state of disrepair; hotel need a renovation.

Fridge control knob missing and not stable it wobbled to the point I thought it was going to fall out of its housing every time I opened it. bed needed replaced felt like I was sleeping downhill. Plug on lamp didn’t work had to unplug clock so I plug in my charger. Staff was great!

The staff were attentive and responsive. The lobby could be cleaner.

Room wasn’t as clean but for the money I guess we should not complain. However the refrigerator was making such a loud noise that we had to turn it off (luckily we didn’t need it). Then as we thought we can sleep in quieter room the air conditioner started…

Arrival was fine, parking lot was about 99% full except for the rear of the building which had construction equipment in the parking area.After a few circle someone left and we snagged that spot. Checking was fine. They emphasized the non-smoking room and $250 cleaning fee if you smoked anything in the room. Other guest checking in was offered water and a cookie upon arrival. We were not but that was fine. Got the the room, opened the door and got hit with the smell of stale cigarette smoke. Went back down and got another room. Still no offer for water or cookies like the other guest. Got to that room and it was about 80 in there. It was 715ish in the evening. Was not terrible but after the smoke smell in the first room, it did not project a feeling that the cleaning staff actually cleaned the rooms well. That should have been caught and addressed when the room was cleaned especially given the spiel we got about the smoking fine in my opinion. We will not book this hotel again.

There didn’t seem to be enough people on staff at the desk. There was no trash bag in the room and another family member mentioned the same issue in her room. The room needed a good vacuuming, especially under the desk. There were crumbs by the tv stand and I never had food in the room, only drinks. It felt like the place had not been thoroughly wiped down in a while. When i checked in and got to the room, the HEAT was on and it was like 75 degrees in there according to the thermostat and for two days the room never cooled properly. I only even felt the air was on if i sat right by the air conditioner. The thermostat, however kept reading out high 70s even though i set it to like 67. I tried to order room service when i got back from my event, but they either took the phone off the receiver or otherwise just didn’t answer it. I tried multiple times for 2 hours during the stated dinner room service hours. Yeah it just wasn’t great.

There was a large hole in our bathroom wall. There was a roach the size of my shoe crawling on wall in the lobby. Had to immediately alert staff! Don’t stay here! You’ll be sorry! Definitely not worth the nightly rate!

Everything ,and the Texes steak House is awsine food excellent.I also want to give a shout to Heather.As soon as i walked through the door i felt welcomed with a smile .It was a beautiful stay not to motioned those Awsome wark delicious!!!!!cookies. THANK YOU.

The Texas Steakhouse and Salon restaurant was the worst service I’ve ever experienced. Food was spoiled and no one apologized.
I also got stuck in the elevator for 30 minutes (twice) with NO apology from the front staff.

The property is being renovated so things were a bit torn up. The work areas though were safe and attended to. The property needs updating and I inag4ine will be beautiful when completed. We would stay there again.
