Room was very dark and the carpet looked dingy. There was also hair in the shower. Evening check in was fair but the gentleman at check out was fantastic. No free breakfast. Easy access off of highway.

We stayed one night. We were there for a show at princess theater. I got a room with a tub so I could have a soak. The tub and tile could use an update there was no faucet only a spray wand to fill the tub.

The amazing smell of the front area!!! The offering of the warm cookies is a great touch. Dave, the manager allowed us to check in early, as our plan arrived earlier than expected. Our room was great and the breakfast bar is amazing. They give you a $15 per person daily credit to use. Thank you for a great experience.

Workout bikes are in need of TLC. No hottub. Restaurant is average at best. Hilton 2 is nearby. Next time.

I’m really surprised Hilton allows its name on this property. The hotel is so out dated and in serious need of repairs. The wallpaper is peeling off the walls, the tub had mold around it, the air conditioner was old and struggled to cool the room off. The room had a old stagnant odor. Overall I would not recommend.

We staying the family room (2 connected rooms) while we were in town for a wedding. It was on the conference side of the hotel and wasn't a great option. There were several issues with the room: 1) There were no exterior windows - the lack of natural light and low lumen lamps made the room very dark. 2) The bathroom in the king room was very tight. You had to step into the shower in order to close the bathroom door. 3) We had to request an ironing board and an additional iron (as the one in the room was leaking) - which was promptly delivered. 4) Front desk was helpful, but dismissive and not as friendly as I would expect. Staff at checkout were pleasant.

the carpets were dirty, staff sleeping at the desk. Security guard watching tv on the computer sound to sleep. Electricity was not avaialble fully in the parking lot. Will never go back

Room wasn’t ready on time and had to wait 2 hours. First room had ants all over the bed and had to change rooms. Food was fine, rooms were dark. Short staffed and nothing done to comp us for either inconvenience

The evening African American Front Desk Manager was more than extremely RUDE as she yelled at me as I was innocently washing my car w/ my own hose. Then, she helped encourage a man, who claimed that his wife worked in the hotel, who had a gun and pointed it at me and was about to shoot & kill me !!! Both the Manager & the “Security/Maintance” man did absolutely NOTHING to defuse the matter and ESCORT the man with the gun OFF the property. Instead, they let him into the hotel and allowed HIM to enjoy the facilities….. and they tried to kick me out in the middle of my TWO NIGHT STAY…….. UNBELIEVABLE!!!! I actually called the Decatur Police, but, evidently in AL, people are allowed to pull out guns, wave them around and point them at people without being threatened themselves and get away with it! This is the MOST UNSAFE, BACKWARDS & UNPROFESSIONAL Staff in the hospitality industry I’ve ever encountered.

Our room was freezing cold with no way to control the a/c. I even turned it off but it kept blowing cold air. Reported to desk. We just stayed one night so it wasnt corrected before we left. Otherwise, it was great!

Loved the baked and warm cookie and friendly staff. The rooms and hallway needs upgrade and humid smell in the room. The bathroom shower needs to be upgraded too and the shower door was hard to open and close.

The breakfast buffet was great. Front desk staff were very friendly. However, the rooms were very dark. We had to wait over an hour after the 4p check in time to get into our room because they were “cleaning” our room. The room had a musty smell. It wasn’t dirty, but smelled like it hadn’t been used for guests in awhile. No shampoo, but we had conditioner. Tissue box had not been supplied. The shower/toilet was so small you could not turn around. The pool was nice and the workout room was nice also.

The pool was filthy and filled with bugs. My 7 year literally was screaming because huge bugs kept getting stuck on her skin. The ice machine on our floor was broken. They didn’t serve any coffee in the lobby, so we tried to use the setup in our room. The disposable coffee cups and with lids that didn’t fit, there was no creamer options, and there was no stir sticks or spoons so I couldn’t even mix in my sugar. Quite the gross cup of Joe. The front desk manager lied to me, stating that the hotel had no pillows or blankets available for my children (7 yrs old and 11 Month baby). I begged for her to check again, and she came back with one paper-thin blanket and said that’s all she had and that we would just have to share whatever was available in the room. We decided to leave the same day we checked in because of the lack of reasonable accommodations. When we were leaving, we witnessed the same manager giving blankets to another guest. Busted! She saw us and her eyes were as big as dinner plates. We checked out, and the manager asked if we were sure that’s what we wanted to do. I told her I was positive I did not want to stay there. Hotels.com called on my behalf and the same manager lied again, stating that I told her during my checkout that everything with my stay was perfect and refused to waive the penalty fees that would allow me to receive a refund. Luckily Hotels.com took care of me anyways.

Nice hotel, but they did a poor job of converting old pre-Doubletree room on the East end into suites. The suites are simply old adjoining room with an interior access door connecting them. That was not at all clear in the room description.

Everything was fine until we went to bed. We both were soooo uncomfortable, we didn’t sleep at all. It was mostly the pillows! They gave absolutely no support, and your head would sink down almost to the mattress! I finally put a rolled up towel between my two pillows, but all I felt was the towel! Unfortunately, our two pillows each ruined our stay.

Location was easy to find. Bed was comfortable. Although I reserved on Expedia, the hotel did not have my reservation. There was loud traffic noise throughout the night. The carpet was not vacuumed thoroughly. No one was at the front desk when I went to check out. Only 1 packet of coffee was in the room (2 decaf). Sign says, "We don't want to disturb you. Call us if you need housekeeping."

Enjoyed my stay here. Couldn’t of asked for a better view! My one complaint is that the rooms are showing their age. The lobby is freshly remodeled and is very nice, but the rooms look to be stuck in the 90s. Wouldn’t be enough to make me avoid staying here next time I’m in town though.
