Barbara at check in was very friendly and helpful!

It was a nice hotel but for the price of it to not have the continental breakfast and the “king size bed” to be actually a queen size was ridiculous. Also had trouble with the door locking up when we would leave the room too. Very clean and nice facilities just the price was ridiculous and I wouldn’t have stayed there if the other non roach bag hotels hadn’t been booked

The room was dirty. Stains in the toilet seat and black ring in toilet. We arrived late so were too tired to complain. For $225/night in east Texas I expected at least a clean room.

They need to do a remodel. Mattress felt like coils were right under the surface of mattress. My door looked like someone try to use a crowbar to get in the room. Metal door frame near lock was mangled, and dented, rusty. Gave me concerns that they had a safety issue in the past.

Lovely spot! We had to stay here when we had a sudden flat tire driving from family Louisiana to Austin. We were so glad to quickly find a place that was so clean, safe and where we could get a good night's rest.

Hard to get to. You have to drive around highways to get back there if you go anywhere

This was by far - the worst stay I’ve ever had at Courtyard in Lufkin. I was highly displeased with the exterior appearance of the room - not to mention a huge cockroach that appeared over my headboard. Sadly, I don’t think I’ll ever stay at this property again until renovations are made.

Curtains were coming off track, carpet was stained, and room smelled like mildew. Beds weren’t very comfortable and pillows were flat. Small swimming pool and no hot tub.

Mold in shower, trash cans didn’t have any liners, linens smelled horrible, shampoo conditioner and body wash bottles in shower broken or empty. Staff was wonderful but cleanliness needs major improvements.

We had a great stay at Courtyard by Marriot. Tim was very accomodating and friendly. He even discounted our stay since we arrived so late. Will definitely stay again.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Took us in last minute after a horrible experience with La Quinta. Really nice room and amenities.

The best part of the trip was the staff (super super helpful) and the fact they were willing, 24/7, to make us the expresso we wanted. At 6 am, when I really needed a triple expresso, they made me one. That is my kind of hotel!

The room was clean. Omly complaint was that the body wash bottle in the shower was empty with no other soap options.

What i didn't like was there was no complementary coffee. Also, there was only 1 entrance/exit to the property. It would be easier if there was an exit/entry to the side of the businesses.

Great staff, friendly and went the extra mile.
The only negative was the beds, they were very firm.

I have been to this location for past ten years every quarter for business. This was first time I have questioned condition of hotel property and qualified staffing. The room I stayed in was concerning as the shower had meldew and grout on floor in poor condition. The evening staff who checked me in had difficulty with system and incorrectly logged the incidental charge as cash throwing off morning staff checking me out. The bistro in evening has run out of varies items by 8pm that reduced my options down to two wings or salad. Very disappointed and hopeful will improve. Sincerely Yvette Herrera-Rich

The only thing was the TV must have been going out because when I turned it off the screen kept it’s glow like it was still charged and I had to turn my head away to sleep. Other than that. It was good

Called to make sure indoor pool was open and could be used: was told yes, it had just been renovated. Checked in for overnight stay with minimal interaction from receptionist who instead of welcoming me, held an entire conversation about a purse with another employee who used inappropriate language. “ “Pool is closed”sign at the front desk. Got to my room and went to look out the wondow only for my foot to fall into a hole in the floor. Pulled back loose bunched carpet to reveal an unsecured board and outter building facade underneath. Bath time was difficult as shower had one temperature: scalding hot and could not be adjusted. Had to bathe my daughter in the sink to avoid burning her. Towel rack fell off the wall and there was mold in the shower and around toilet. Water in bath drained slowly and had brown tinge. No trash can liners. Would not stay again until they’ve completed repairs and can guarantee my room was safe and clean.

This hotel needs some renovations...several rooms looked to be in destress, you could see from the outside one room on first floor looked to be in renovation process I hope. Not up to Marriott standard, also our TV did not work, had to change rooms then they accidentally over charged me.

We had used hand towels left in the shower and one of the maintenance staff walked into our room unannounced using a key when asked why he was doing he didn't want to leave. He was in street clothes and I had no clue he worked for the hotel. The other person in the other room also had a female staff member walk into their room unannounced using a key.

I was standing in line waiting to check out for over 15mins and a Caucasian man walked up and the lady at the desk asked how may she help him and got him checked out when I was standing there for over 10-15mins.

Not impressed at all for a Marriott facility. Lobby was not clean and first staff member was Not friendly at all. Barbara was there upon return. She was Fabulous.
Room had a burn spot on the carpet. Bathroom was little out dated around the tub area. Just Not impressed with this Marriott facility. Especially with the price I had to pay.

The hotel we booked- Courtyard. Marriott bumped us from that hotel to another Marriott property, because they overbooked and we used a third party to book our rooms. Very stressful and disappointing.
