This is not a typical Hilton stay. The room was spacious with a great view, but this hotel offers very little in the way of luxury and things to do. There is a fantastic restaurant on site…and that’s about it. The front desk and restaurant staff were great, but when I ordered room service the person who brought it was very curt/didn’t smile and made me feel like this was a great inconvenience to him. The rooms were clean enough. The location is nice but if you are looking for an upscale hotel to spend some time in you may want to look elsewhere.

I'm a local resident who took the opportunity to stay a night since I was flying out early the next morning. The shuttle was prompt and comfortable. The room however was disappointing. I was hoping to be able to recommend it to visitors. It was dark and the furniture barely fit. There were few amenities--not even a bottle of water in the fridge. It certainly did not live up to the more than $300 I paid.

I gave it average rating because the bed was not clean. They didn’t change the sheets. I found chest hair in my bed. Which gave me the feeling bugs were crawling on me all night.

I was able to bring my dog. The restaurant is really nice with the best view in town and walkable to most.

Had a great room with a patio right outside our room was dog poop. Next thing a dog shows up on our patio. Then ran farther down the side of the blgd. It belonged to our neighbor. I think you need to rethink your pet policy.

Careful booking through Expedia. We booked a “river view” room but got a room with a big bush blocking the view of the river. The front desk people said Expedia does that to get people to book, which seems like a bait-and-switch deal. And our room had a heavy smell of cigarette smoke. The front desk people were very nice, but they had no comparable room to move us to. They did ensure that our next stay for family weekend will be in a true river view room. I’ve had a terrible experiences with Expedia customer service—they’re rarely willing to do anything. So book carefully!

When we first pulled in to the property i was worried that it looked run down and very yucky but once we found the lobby area and went inside it was great ! It is just an old building that i think could use some renovating. That said it is very well maintained , lots of flowers etc and clean and an adequate staff to maintain everything. The inside staff was also very friendly and helpful. The rooms are beautifully remodeled, at least the one we had, it was modern and right on the river. No complaints at all. The restaurant in the hotel is excellent too. Nice drinks, appetizers, wood fired pizza etc. I would definitely stay here again .

I love how quiet it was and the black out curtains were a nice touch.

No signage for anything, even for reception! We first walked into a giant coat room! No coffee in the lobby, something that most hotels at this price point do for their customers. No recycling that I could find. Staff was pleasant. Food in dining room was good.

Loved everything about this Hotel, loved sitting on the balcony listening to the river.

The best part of my stay was the quality of the food in the dining room and the service there. I was first seated for dinner near a large table of people out for a fun evening. They were loud, so I asked for another seat. The waiter found a great spot for me, and the waitress there was terrific, too. The waiter nearly dropped dead when I tracked him down and gave him a nice tip. As a single traveler, I am rarely treated so kindly.

Had a lovely stay here. I had a room with river view and it was beautiful. Although, I wish the screen door locked so I could’ve slept with the window open to hear the water flowing at night. The screen door nor the glass door locked. The glass door was “locked” by a bar preventing it from being opened. The room was spacious and comfortable. I didn’t receive a cookie at check in; I thought that was a Double Tree staple. They didn’t have a little market downstairs to buy snacks or beverages, from what I was told by the front desk. They have a restaurant, which I didn’t visit.

Closer to a Motel-6 than a Doubletree property. What was especially egrigious was the slow WiFi (seemed like dial-up), and train tracks just a block or two away. The track is elevated and the trains sound their horn for some reason (intersection) right beside the hotel...at 3a, 4a, 5a...all thru day. Ridiculous.

The check in was easy and super friendly but that was the only good experience I had . The parking lot is coved in trash debris everywhere. The halway to our room smelt like dirty diapers and onions. Our room had paint chipping , the bathroom had no fans , the room heater was extremely loud which woke my whole family up every time it turned on. We passed a staff member which was coughing without covering there mouth ( sure don’t want to get sick while traveling! ) the pool was closed and nothing on the site said outdoor only pool ! There was guest in the room above us that ran around and sounded like they had a party above us until 4 am . I have to be up at 6 am.This is the worst experience Iv ever had with this hotel and for $250 I felt like I was staying at a super 8 but paying for a 5 star which this place is like 2 maybe 3 at best . The stays are getting worse and worse as the years are going by.
