We love Westport Plaza and always stay at least once a year. We want to stay at the Sheraton but it is usually too expensive for us but we were able to use points to get money off our room. We love the Sheraton. It is walking distance to our favorite spots (Funny Bone and restaurants) there is a bar in the lobby and so many things to do. The rooms are great and service is outstanding.

A reliable, basic stay. The facilities are a bit dated, but the location is convenient and has access to an excellent Gym. Works for a short stay.

Excellent location. Close the airport and St. Charles. The staff is very friendly and willing to provide assistance.

My first room was overrun with the smell of sulfur and the room i was moved to was worse. I seen hairs and grime in places one would not feel easy about.

We paid almost $200 for one night. We booked a king sized room. Upon check in we were given a double queen room. The staff moved us thankfully but not until I informed them of the issue. The pool "was missing a part" and therefore unheated. It was too cold to swim in. Everything looked beautiful, but the windows in our room were allowing in lots of cold air (bad seals?). Overall, I would not return. I expected a lot better for such a high priced room.

The rooms were spacious and extremely clean.

A steady choice for me when in St. Louis. I've booked this hotel a few times. The level of service is always consistent. The property is clean and conveniently located around lots of shopping and places to eat.

The room would not stay very cool. Every time the air shut off we got very warm very quickly even with trying to adjust it. The coffee pot in the room was not clean.
The beds were comfortable though, shower was great, and noise in the hotel was very minimal.

The room smelled moldy and musty.

Our room smelled like a mechanical room, seemed to be dated.

We booked what we thought was non-smoking room, unfortunately, when we checked in and got up to our room it smelled like stale cigarette smoke. The hotel happened to be booked solid for the evening as there was a concert nearby or we would have asked for a new room. The rooms are in desperate need of updating and a refresher. Once we checked in we understood why the room was $100 cheaper for the night than other hotels nearby. This used to be a nice hotel, not so much anymore.

The girl at the desk was disrespectful. My wife got her arm caught in elevator .. it closes really fast and she went to put her arm in to keep it from closing. Dosent work like other elevators. It’s just ok and really nasty!

Room was nice but couch cushions had stains on them. Room smelled musty. Needs to be updated.

Most of the gym machines were broken, windows didn’t work, funky smell in both of our rooms, sofabed absolutely unsleepable, dresser drawer wouldn’t stay shut - had to tape it in place, sometimes no cold water from tap, great staff, though.

This was the dingiest $300 hotel room I can imagine. From dust around every baseboard to some stains on the couch, a dirty toilet tank and raggedy bed linens. We stayed for the pool at the adjacent property which was AMAZING (though also rundown with broken tiles) but for $300 the pool was not worth the icky feeling of the room maintenance.

The friendliness of the staff

Hotel is outdated for the rating and price. Door knob fell off to the adjoining room. Other guest were loud and banging on doors late into the night. Noise from surrounding area could easily be heard. Pull out sofa was worn down and didn’t have pillows or blanket.

My stay was good. I was attending my 59th HS Reunion. The room was comfortable, the location was central and, despite being next to a confluence of freeways, the room was quiet. Staff was friendly and I was able to get fresh towels when needed. A range of restaurants and pubs were nearby.

Nice hotel. Sold out but no issues.
Room was large and bed comfortable. Some small signs of wear but they have been updating.

1st of all. My reservation was for a deluxe King Bed room, I was put into a double queen business room. very cramped. The front desk said that was all they had, I should've been told that ahead of time and option to turn down. 2nd. the room was dirty, looked like no one had swept the floors. The top duvet had holes in it and very used. The bathroom was out of conditioner in the bathtub, Didn't know until it was to late. There was no information in the room as far as when the restaurant was open. No information on times of serving meals. I called down and asked front desk if restaurant was open she said yes. When I got down stairs all that was open was the lounge and I had to order food there. This was after I tried to call one of the restaurant on your map and only to find out it was closed. Should be taken off your map. I asked the front desk on Friday night about breakfast and was told it was served from 6:30 til 11. I went down at 10:20 a.m. and the buffet was closed. and they stop serving breakfast off the menu at 10:30. The waitress saw how upset I was and at least let me fill a plate from the hot food that was still out everything else was already put away. She said they stop serving buffet at 10. Should have been told. My Sunday morning experience was listening to the waitress using curse words to talk to the other waitress, and she began shutting down the buffet at 9:50, After a lady had just asked about it before bringing her party down. syrup was expired in 6/20.

Property rooms were dirty, and outdated. The lobby was fine but the rooms were two thumbs down

I was actually quite disappointed in this hotel, but the staff was wonderful. We had a great check-in and got to check in early and use the pool which was perfect. The negatives: Out of 7 outlets in the room, only 2 worked. The outdoor pool was dirty and full of flies. The hot water in the sink in the bathroom was broken, so no hot water in the sink. They only give 2 towels, so if you stay more than one day, you will need to ask for more. The water in the outdoor and inside pool were freezing, so we could not get in the water [plus with the flies, we didn't want to]. The hotel website shows they had an outdoor pool, but upon check-in, we found that we had to drive over to the sister hotel "The Chalet" to use the outdoor pool. The indoor pool area was SO humid and definitely needed an update to the chipped painted walls. The sauna was next to the indoor pool and I'm guessing that's why it was so hot and humid. I also read that this hotel. I received an email the day before our stay telling me the only restaurant would not be open and minimal room service. We love the area because there are restaurants around and in walking distance, so that wasn't a big deal. The beds and pillows were very comfortable though. I will not be staying at this hotel again. I think it is just old and needs an update. The bartender was fabulous though and would like to give her a shout out!

Reasonable clean room, pretty registration area.
Everything felt kind of worn out to be charging $300 per night

No breakfast. We stayed five nights and received room service once. No microwave in the room. Very few hangers. Pool out of service for a couple days. Smokers just outside our room. We won’t return.

We were first told they had no rooms available. After we walked somewhere else we were told no our room was actually here. Once checking in headed to our room only to find out our room cards didn't work. No apology or anything just offered a refund. We ended up leaving and not even staying. Super frustrating situation.

I booked a hotel stay for the wrong day and was unable to get a refund. I am very upset about it. It was a waste of money and no one was able to help me out.

Stayed for 4 nights, prepaid via Expedia. Was overbilled by the hotel for 2 nights. Have repeatedly tried to contact someone at the hotel for these overcharges, but they will not return my calls.
