Service was excellent. All staff very helpful and friendly. Wonderful pool. Very private. Loved the patio! Fantastic breakfasts. Wonderfully clean and fresh everywhere. This will be my first choice for a place to stay the next time I travel to Ft. Myers.

Location was great. The room was big and comfortable. The Toilet had problems flushing, but they fixed it right away. The bathroom drain was broken, which was never fixed.

Sweet location, two blocks off busy Cleveland Avenue, so quieter than otherwise. Easy access to places we wanted to see and visit. Central pool area is nicely situated. All in all, an accommodation winner!

My major complaint is with Expedia falsely advertising a hotel with pool and hot tub only to find out that neither is in operation and have been in renovation since Nov 23. What makes it worse is Expedia knew of this as they had been advised in writing by the hotel. Expedia falsely represented this product offering and have charged full price without discount or explanation. This is not the first time Expedia has done this but it will be my last booking with Expedia.

The showers were not working properly. Only 2 shower heads was spraying limited quantities of water. Also didnt like the fact that the wash basin was outside the bathroom

We chose this hotel for the hot tub and pool, but didn’t find out until after check in that both were down for construction. We were on the third floor, which smelt terrible in the hallway. The breakfast staff were not very nice to guests. However, the person who checked us out was very friendly and provided excellent customer service!

Housekeeping was poor. Never came to clean room until we called front desk. Didn't take garbage or recycling out one day so we had to call them. The didn't replenish coffee packages in our room. We had to go to the front desk to ask for it on three occasions during the week. Just very poor housekeeping service all around. However, the front desk personnel were very helpful.

Conveniently located in mall walking distance to restaurants. Location was also nice and quiet. Room walked right out too pool deck which was very nice. Lobby nicely decorated for the season.Towels very clean. Overall was good but overpriced. Decor in rooms was not very nice for the price. Hot tub not working, shower door not installed correctly, one baseboard rotted.

Room was a king suite with a pool view but the space seemed a little cramped and the toilet wobbled and observed some need of paint and maintenance in the bathroom baseboards and around the frame of the bathroom door there was rust

Arrived late so parking was very difficult. Upon entering the room, it smelled very musty, or perhaps old animal smell…not quite sure but it was unpleasant for sure! After using the bathroom we noticed there was no hand soap or hand towels in the bathroom sink area. Due to sleeping in a little bit we missed breakfast as it ends early.

The staff were very helpful and friendly, and our room was clean and comfortable. Security was good as well with a key being required to gain access to outside doors. The cons were the moldy smell in the hall (which didn't affect the room itself), the very low water pressure and time for the hot water to heat up, and being able to clearly hear others.

I love Homewood Suites on 5255 Big Pine way in Florida. The staff is friendly and makes you feel at home. The food is great! The rooms are clean coming with kitchenettes inside. It’s perfect! We have been returning to this hotel For years and will continue to do so. It’s the best!

Wasn't notified until arrival that there was roofing being conducted. Had to use side entrances and pool closed during this operation. Should of been notified in advance of such construction and amenities being closed.
