The bed was covered in pee n mold everywhere

The only thing that was clean was the bed. The floors and bathroom were disgusting. There were people in and out all night with dogs. People smoking weed in the building that we were told this was a no smoking building.

DO NOT STAY HERE, AND DO NOT GIVE A DEPOSIT WITH YOUR CARD! Was told 5-10 business days with debit card abd that I was getting deposit back when she looked up the room #. Will tell you to check with YOUR bank when the 5-10 business days are up even though they never sent it back! Kids running all over screaming and yelling in the hallways and early in the morning! Went to continental breakfast and was stared at like I didnt stay there and then asked my room # and name rudely. Room door didnt lock, and the 1st time entering barely opened due to broken swing piece at top of door. Floors were not clean, so dont walk barefoot. 3 flat pillows on the king size bed. Definately wont pay for this place again! Scammers!

i ate the inn's honey nut cherios for beakfast. easy to drive to albany downtown and elsewhere

This place is terrible. There are people living there. They upgraded us to a different room because we aren’t smokers. We had to wait for them clean the new room, which was not clean at all. The floor was filthy, things were broken, tattered and torn. The sink was dirty just under the countertop. The air conditioner was loud, a light turned on and off all night, and the toilet ran periodically all night long. The hallway was filthy and smelled terrible.

It was ok. A bit outdated in some features. No elevator in building

This is the worst hotel. Dirty a bunch of kids running around. Theres a truck with a flat tire thats not plated and looks like its been sitting there for months. Thats just 1 truck. There are 2 other cars there also that are off the road and should be brought to the junkyard. Not to mention, I reserved a non smoking room .onths in advance. When I got there there was only a smoking room available so they set us up with that until 6 hiurs later when they can switch me in the original room I reserved. We couldnt stay in the smoking room because it smelled so bad we couldnt breathe. Lastly, we rent the room for our Bridesmaid to get ready for our wedding and couldnt leave the gowns in that room or they wouldve smelled like the room. You wouldve figured they wouldve comped us something but nope. I do not recommend this hotel. Disgusting and owners are very rude

The hotel room smelled like stale cigarettes, they had turned off the water to the bathtub in the room. The linens were stained and even at 2AM there was noise coming from adjoining rooms. I left and got a different hotel.

I did not enjoy the pitbull dog chained in the lobby when I arrived. The next person behind me stayed at the door while I was at the counter and also agreed that the desk clerk doing this wasn't a good thing to do. I am not a dog person, but that is my problem. I'll never choose this location again. I made a comment, the clerk didn't care.

This place is about average for a 2-star property. First impressions: It looked like a crowbar had been used to force the door open in the past and the deadbolt on the door would not engage. I found the smell of the cleaning agents used were a bit put-offish but did not interfere with my sleep. The blanket on the the fold out bed had some goo on it and the staff quickly provided a replacement. The bathroom while clean, had a tub that had been repaired (badly) multiple times - and I would recommend you don't look up. A continental breakfast of coffee, cereal, some carbs (muffins) and fresh fruit was included and available in the front office. The staff was friendly.

Its really a Motel where people even live there. Rugs were disgusting. Bathroom toilet didn’t work properly, shower wall broken. Pillows very old. Comforter not comfortable. It looks like a guetto area. No where clise to eat clean food.

I own my own biz, so I'm a budget traveler. This hotel looks great on the outside, and the staff is efficient. But they have long term people staying at the property (people that can't afford monthly rent), so its a bit sketchy. Also, the interior of the room and linens are really rough. For the price, its ok, but don't stay here with your family.

Huge room with 3 beds and a pull outside sofa

In area for basketball game in Albany. Booked hotel online. Location of the hotel was in a questionable area. Rooms were kind of old and smelled. A few strange people hanging out in the parking lot and hallway. The coffee maker was in the bathroom! Don’t think I would return.

Nice stay

The staff at this property were really nice, and check in/out was super easy. I would not, however, recommend staying here. I stayed in a room that smelled like cigarette smoke despite the whole building being labelled as non-smoking (I now have to wash all of the clothes I brought with me), there were huge chips in the paint, obvious replastering of the ceiling, dust on the ceiling, hair in the bed, the thinnest blanket of all time, no Kleenexes, no garbage bins, there were stains on the walls, no hot water in the sink, the shower produced water from the tap and shower head simultaneously, there was a huge brown stain on one of the towels, and the safety lock on the door was broken.

A decent basic place. Things are getting a little run down here and there, but it's clean and the room is large. There are no hangers or hooks to hang your jacket on. Some little things like that they could improve.

It was ok... a lot if garbage around facility. Price was enticing though, especially for last minute.

Asked front desk clerk for a couple of extra towels since it was a jacuzzi room and he refused. Not that it mattered because jacuzzi didn’t work and when I brought it to their attention he merely stared at me and said and did nothing so I checked out in disgust and went somewhere else

Shower did not work properly. When shower was turned on water came out of ceiling and nothing from shower head.

The hotel seems to be more a short-term stay hotel. Yes no smoking in the room but there smoking spot was right next to the outside door that I had to use, and morning breakfast choices were very limited cereal, coffee, beagle and some kind of cupcake.

The loveseat was torn in the room,wall paper falling off wall. The staff didn’t want to give an extra roll of toliet paper.

Great experience. Very nice stay. I enjoyed it very much. I recommend to everyone. You will not regret it.

The staff was very nice and the room was clean but the noise from other rooms and in the hallways was really loud in the middle of the night. The bed was a little too sturdy for me as well but maybe it's just a personal preference.

Capital Inn and Suites was ok for staying 1 night. Facilities were run down, seemed incomplete. There were many holes in the wall which seemed to be where pictures were to be hung? Room didn't seem ready yet for guests to say.

I was going with my 3 kids ans husband, only stay for one nights to cut the travel in 2. I was worried for my safety. I didn’t sleep all night, walls are so thin and the person upstairs has been walking all night. Not to mentioned people were outside their room partying, at midnight some ran accros the hall screaming … If my husband hasn’t been there, I wouldn’t have stayed. I was upset as on Expedia it’s says it was good for family so I trusted Expedia had confirmed that statement.Anyway I would not recommend this place for family.

Booked this place just for 1 n8ght to have rest with my kids before we continue our trip. Sheets and towels were clean, the rest was dirty. Ceiling was very noisy whrlen someone checkedin at 11pm, overall very terrible stay, will never go there again.

The hotel seemed more like a long term stay environment as the others around the property appeared to be have made modifications to there rooms. Our room had several areas that were in need of major updating, repairs, and painting. The building we stayed in was also very loud throughout the night.
